Motel 6 Gillette, WY

Overall, stay was good. Loud refrigerator had to be unplugged, but wifi was better than other Motel 6 sites.

Clean neat and easy to find. Shopping and restaurants nearby.

Fast check in. Desk clerk was funny, kind, and helpful. There was a funny smell in the lobby when we checked in. But in the morning..the smell was gone. Clean and well kept property. The most quiet hotel I've ever stayed in. Did not hear people walking up and down the hall. Nor heard any one walking upstairs. Nice stay

The motel had a small gym and a Sauna which I thought was pretty cool! Price rite which was less than $50 for a one night stay. The bad thing there was hair in the shower drain that wasn’t mine. And I had to ask the front desk to turn the heat up. The place was really cold last night, very early May.

This is one of the old hotels. A lot of workers staying here. Check in was good. The hallway was dirty with mud from workers boots and towels laying in hallway that were eventually picked up. At one point the hallway had a bad oder but it seemed better later in the evening. The room was clean, big TV. The blanket on the bed only covered the top of the bed so you had to sleep in the middle of the bed to be covered by the blanket. I have never seen a blanket like the one on the bed, it reminded me of a disposable blanket made out of a paper product. There was a nice grassy area to walk my dog and doggie pickup bags were provided. Despite all the workers staying at the hotel it was quiet. Not so quiet early in the morning when they were all leaving for work. There were always people, mostly men, hanging around the front desk when I would come and go. I did feel safe staying here.

Clean and reasonable price. Dog stayed free. Good selection of drinks In vending machines.

Great staff went out of their way to make me feel valued and welcome!

This is usually a good midway stop on our way from Minnesota to visit family in Wyoming - conveniently located and fairly priced.

This is a plain Jane budget hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The receptionist was helpful in giving advice to local attractions. All in all a good bang for the buck.

There was an exercise room, which was nice. Bring your own toiletries; only bar soap was provided. I was on second floor, which seems to allow both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Good places to eat nearby. The property and area around the hotel is rather spartan. Staff was OK. Was there on a Wednesday night; a couple of guys yelling in the hallway (not arguing but seemingly drunk); it was over very quickly. For the money I would go again.
