Leonardo Hotel Hamburg Stillhorn

There are no mini refrigerators in the room. I am diabetic and have no where to keep my insulin. When I reported to staff, they wanted me to allow them to keep my insulin in some general refrigerator. When I declined, I was told they will try and find me one. Stayed 7 nights but nothing happened and that upset me that a hotel of such caliber had no fridge in the rooms.

Had planned for a family trip to friends wedding. However little one got chicken pox so ended up just being dad on his tod! They had made the cot up and place a little bunny in the cot with extra towels. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was quiet and clean and had great parking with easy access to the autobahn and Hamburg train station was about 15mins by car. I would highly recommend them to anyone with children or solo.

Nice hotel, with nice rooms, good beds. But if you use a sleeping couch, ask for the mattress, otherwise you sleep on wood. And what is missing during hot days is an air conditioning system in the rooms. Breakfast is good. People are very nice.

Accommodations were great! Hotel has easy access to the autobahn but with double windows, you couldn’t hear a thing. Room was nice, bed comfortable and a breakfast buffet that had everything you could want. If we ever find ourselves in Hamburg again, we will definitely return!

Great Staff!

We used this hotel because it was reasonable close to the Intelparc where a wheelchair Basketball competition was taking place. Generally we found all the staff helpful and friendly except for one barman who seem to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders but even he became happier when I ordered Beer and Ice cream together and he felt it was a wonderful combination. The Hotel is very close to a motorway and suffers from the noise from it but if you were travelling it would be an ideal stopover which I think is it's primary function. This meant that the evening menu was a little restricted for us staying 10 days. It doesn't have air conditioning which made the rooms a bit hot with our current warm weather and with the window open the motorway noise was more obvious. Breakfast was excellent with a very big choice but pricey at 12 Euros per person.

I truly expected to have very pleasant stay at your hotel, and I was truly surprised that your hospitality was far beyond of my expectations. I will recommend your hotel to all my friends who plan visit the Hamburg area.

Adequate, but that’s all. Certainly not four star.

This is a high quality hotel and the location is brilliant for travellers passing Hamburg at the right time. It is really close to the A1 autobahn but the expected noise is almost eliminated by quadruple glazing.
