Filthy room and unhelpful receptionist

Hotel is not modern, room is ok. The staff is the best, when you stay in The Charterhouse, you will be greeted and helped by friendly well trained staff. Surrounded by four 7elevens, you'll never be hungry in the middle of the night.

No privacy, as you can hear others conversations. The internet connection was poor. The ventilation and AC was awful.

I stay in the hotel for 14 days quarantine. The room I has no bottle water provided, no table and No chair. Have to sit on the bed. The hotel has major construction going on you jackhammers All day. Since I can not leave the room for 14 days. I can not hear the TV with the noise at maximum. And no ear plus provided also.

Not bad for the price. Can’t say to much otherwise. You get what you pay for, this hotel was decent for the price not great or unique in any way.

no more free bottled water - totally understandable but it came as a surprise that the room does not come with a fridge. the view is superb though I was not arranged a room in the top floors. cleaning ladies came every day. but on the last couple days of my stay I noted some tiny tiny ant-like bugs in the drawer. the location is good - adjacent to market, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby. overall it was a pleasant stay.

I first stayed for a long weekend, because the reception lady granted me a room with a good view like this, I did go back for staying a week more later. What I most appreciate about the hotel is the service. I met very polite housekeeping team who greeted in the lift almost everytime, the super helpful concierge team who helped resolve my luggage trouble of being stuck in the city because of the pendemic, of coz the sweet receptionists who offered me great room that I really had a good time. The only setback is the tv without nicam channels selection because of the outdated remote control, I have to say. All in all, it worths it, especially in this very period with special rates! Just try to get a room not facing the main road and you'll be satisfied.

Super outdated hotel thin walls and short+ small bed and room. It was an economy room to be fair however the furnitures were honestly older than my age (almost 30), dusty and worn. overall the hotel could seriously use some refurb. You could hear next door's conversation loud and clear which resulted me in writing a kind note to the neighbour to keep it down as hotel did not have any more spare rooms for me to change to. lobby and staff are presentable but that doesnt make up for the rooms unfortunately. price is good and location is good also but honestly i'd pay just a little more to get a better hotel as I couldn't stand the look of the room- had to spend extra money to get my own clean towels and sanitising sprays.

I always enjoy staying at the Charterhouse hotel. Friendly professional staff. I also choose a business room and it is always perfect for me. One of the most significant things I like about the Charterhouse is the Western, Japanese and Chinese food.
