Red Lion Inn & Suites Hattiesburg

The room was horrible. Torn carpet, furniture broken, night stands had tobacco in them, broken razors in night stand so was not cleaned properly, mold in bathroom ceiling from a leak or something, molded chalking in tub, tub wouldn’t drain, housekeeping tried to enter our room before check out, sheets and towels stained.

Had to call hotels.com at 12:30am to ask for my money back and flew in the middle of the night with my young daughter on my second day of all day/night driving trip to visit family. This hotel is a crack house motel that was five minutes from swat coming in. No joke you can hear people from upstairs through the pipes. Checked in early evening and wasn’t even allowed in the lobby- First red flag!!! Drug deals blatantly done like drive thru Starbucks service same with lady callers and we could hear everything! This place should be removed from hotels.com and reported to local vice!

Absolutely disgusting room and almost left at 2am because I didn’t want to sleep in the bed. Also they needed a cash deposit which seemed a little sketchy. Would not recommend or stay here ever again.

The jetted tub was awesome.. the room was clean and it was very quiet stay. I will stay again in the future

I booked last minute on an emergency due to being stuck in Hurricane Zeta. I booked an executive suite with a king bed however when I got there They gave me the “handicap king.” I said fine, I just needed a place to sleep. When I got to my room it was filled with dead bugs, the walls were filthy, the microwave and fridge looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. Stains all over the furniture. The bathroom was a grime fest and again filled with dead bugs. Not to mention the lock on the door was busted off and just hanging by a loose nail. I demanded my money back which Hotels.com did immediately arrange and went to the Holiday Inn. -100/10 would not recommend. Roach motel

Not even the cold water. Food and old milk in the fridge. Holes in walls. Dirty. Gross.

The room was disgusting, the ac unit literally fell off the wall.

Room was dirty, to start with. Box of chicken wings left in microwave, god knows how long. Walls were filthy, linens on bed didnt fit right and had to keep getting up to put fitted sheet back on bed. People upstairs were up yelling, fighting and leaving and coming back in their big, loud truck all night. Didnt feel safe. Never staying at a Red Lion again!! Way overpriced, should have been cheaper than Motel 6!

Room was clean but not enough covers on the bed to be comfortable and no hot water for a shower. Front desk didn’t care about concerns at all. Disappointing

Absolutely filthy, walls were so disgusting, cobwebs in the corners, bathroom toilet leaked all over the floor, the floors were so filthy with dirt and crap all over them. The tub had mildew and mold all over it, and a black ring around the tub. The tv was so snowy and fuzzy you couldn’t even watch it. The health dept definitely needs to check this hotel out, and close it for awhile, and things should be properly repaired and cleaned before opening it back up. Do Not Rent A Room Here! You will be very disgusted and disappointed!
