I was up all night because the toilet ran all night. Trash was in the room. The front desk were real rude
During my 3 day stay... my room was cleaned on 3rd day Mgmt said on 3rd day I had to request cleaning...they should have informed me of that on my first day check in...room heater filter was nasty...cleaned it myself...cuz I was sneezing like crazy everytime I turned it on
Almost everything was especilly good. Minor things like missing items in the room ..toilet paper, hand soap, kleenex tissues, coffee cups. Not enough parking spots close to door entrance. I checked in on a rainy day @night. Everything else important to me was excellent!! The staff was extra friendly and helpful. I especially liked the tall freestanding closet for my clothes and the updated furniture...(desk & dresser)
It was a two day stay. The first room we were assigned only had one of the two queen beds made. The second room had a odor of cigarette smoke. On the third room assigned, the front desk receptionist walked with us to it to ensure was ready for guest. She was kind and very helpful. All the other front desk (especially Jennifer) showed great customer service.
We were unsatisfied with our stay. When we entered the room hallway it smelled like cigarette smoke. We then proceeded to let the first desk person know. She did change our room to a different hallway. The hotel itself was okay other than the constant smoke smell within the hotel hallways.
I arrived late but upon trying to check-in was on line. Person before me apparently required a particular accommodation and the front desk escorted them to 2 different rooms before a decision was made. Waited about 15 min. Only 1 person working the front desk. After check-in ,I could not open the door, returned to front desk and was then escorted back to the room before person at the front desk confirm the door lock was not working and then was given another room. The room seems like it wasn't ready or shouldn't have been ready. Found a used bar of soap in the shower, normally has a coffee machine in the room but there was none. Found bed linen still had hair from the last person that stayed in the room, found an inconsistent towel ratio. 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 2 face towel and no floor towel. Unfortunately its been a long day for me. I had 2 beds and my wife and I stay on the other bed. Seems poorly managed.
They had to change my room from king to a 2 bed room. She said because I have a dog with me. I e stayed at other la Quinta locations before and I had a king size bed with my dog. The room smelled like pee. AC unit was loud. No grand and go breakfast. The fire alarm went off and the front desk person was not even there.
First room had no lights. They moved us to another room and it was good. But the toilet leaked around the tank but we put towels down. Have stayed before and it was better then. Would stay again. Price good.
Overall things were well but a couple problems with the room. One was the bathroom sink stopper did not work properly and the flush knob on the toilet broke when I would flush the toilet.
We love staying at this hotel. It is so convenient for families with pets. They do not charge a pet fee and have plenty of pet rooms available.
