Motel 6 Fresno, CA - Belmont Ave

Not a bad place for a night wouldn’t recommend for much more than that.

The receptionist was mean. I travelled a lot and this is the first motel 6 that doesn’t provide shampoo in the shower. There were ants all over in the tub. I will not use motel 6 any more,

I was disappointed with Expedia. I made reservations for my sister who was asked to vacate her hotel room at hotel 6, because the hotel did not receive my confirmation from Expedia. I had to make several phone calls to Expedia before Motel 6 finally received the confirmation from Expedia.

Positives: The staff persons were friendly enough. The room was reasonably clean. The shower flow was strong. Refrigerator was cold. Negatives: The A/C unit was malfunctioning, I was able to get it running for about two hours, then it quit. That's not good during a Fresno summer -- it was 104 degrees in the late afternoon. The WiFi signal was very weak. Tip: If you are staying here during the summer, get a room on the east side of the hotel, not the west side. There is no shade on the asphalt parking lot on west side, and it is like a blast furnace. It had to be 130 degrees on the asphalt. You can't walk your dog to pee for more than 15 seconds on that east side asphalt, during the summer.

Close to work. The size of bath towels. Nice location considering its in the rough neighborhood.
