Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown

Hotel was in a good location/ room was clean. The cons we’re parking, hotel charges around 50$ to park - no self parking available. Found a lot across the street that charges $9 / day. But my main issue was people being loud in the hallways in the middle of the night. Then having to evacuate at 4am, only to find out someone purposely pulled the alarm.

There was a Fire Emergency that woke me up in the middle of the night. Other than that everything was Good!!

We arrived at night and the check in staff was great. Was offered a late check out for no extra cost. Room seemed pretty clean until my 1 year old found legos that she of course put in her mouth. There were also crumbs on the floor that she’s as well put in her mouth. The halls had a strong smell of marijuana. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the halls next door and above you. Sunday morning close to 4 am an extremely loud emergency alarm went off telling everyone to go to the stairwell. We had to go down 12 flights of stairs with a terrified 1 year old due to the loud alarm awaking her. I refuse to stay in a stairwell with lots of strangers during a pandemic. There seemed to be no real emergency as there was no clear direction or staff to guide patrons or explain what was going on. Not to mention it was freezing outside so we waited in the lobby because there didn’t seem to be an emergency and it was too cold to stand outside with a child. Again no clear guidance as to what was going on or what to do. We drove 5plus hours to do a family weekend trip and we enjoyed the city of Philadelphia but wasn’t pleased with our stay.

My belongings came up missing never got them back the staff and security was no help at all

Clean room and friendly staff. Not in the center of downtown, but a quick 10-15 minute walk to get the city's center.

The property was secure and clean. It was central to many sights about 15 mins from the airport. Walking distance to several restaurants.

There was a stiff dirty washcloth hanging in our bathroom, the counters throughout were sticky and it was clear the floor was not vacuumed

$50+/night for parking seems a bit excessive. I parked next door for less than 1/2 the price. No garbage can in the room and noisy neighbors.

We were not satisfied. It was a very good location, but when we smelled cigarette smoke and had a very noisy neighbort at 11pm, we were told to come down to get another room. We were already in bed.

Back ally type entrance. Sticky floor in the room.
