Sonesta Columbus

The lobby was well-equipped for social distancing. The room was very clean, and had extra disinfecting wipes available. They only gave us two towels for two nights, and the television was not a smart tv, those were our only complaints. Other than that, it was very comfortable, and will keep Sonesta in mind for our next trip!

I used valet parking during my stay. The valet service lost the emergency key that is in my fob. I did not notice until I had left. When I called they said they would have to check and call me back. They never called and I had to call multiple times. They continued to say they have checked the rooms but it would not be in the room I stayed in since the key was downstairs at the valet station. I should have been concerned when I came back one night and the valet person had already gone home even though they offer 24/7 valet service. They had someone else park the car. It is impossible to speak to a manager. Now when I return my leased car I will have to pay for a new fob.

My wife and I had an awesome stay. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay there.

The hotel was good. The front desk receptionist on the night shift was friendly and informative. The morning receptionist was not very friendly. Seemed quieter and hard to hear him. He just pointed to the cup to drop off the key and that was it. He did not ask for my hotel room number for check out or anything. The gym area was clean and nice to use.

This property did extremely well with their Covid 19 precautions! I felt very safe.

Everything was wonderful but the overnight parking at the hotel is $35 which I saw many guests complaining about, meanwhile all competitors around the area are between $20-$25. The hotel tell you there’s no parking around but that’s a lie you can park on the street. Everything else is very good with the hotel.

The hotel was perfect everything was flawless the only issue I had was that there was no microwave in my room but everything else was wonderful!!
