Holiday Inn Johnstown Downtown

I love coming here the staff is so helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. They do have a restaurant inside and I haven't been there but it is nice to know that I can go there if I choose.

Needed a late checkout. And wasnt giving one

I enjoyed the pool with my grandson. Only one elevator worked, the other was so slow. I told them on the phone i was handicapped as i was booking. The bathroom was not very suitable for me. There were grab bars, but the commode was way to low and only one grab bar in the shower. And somehow they messed up me booking 2 nights into 2 separate bookings? So i ended up locked out of my room which i was not very happy with. There was no coffee cups or coffee for the coffee pot. Had to call the front desk and have it sent up. The restaurant was disappointing and expensive.Think i will have to find another hotel for my next trip. The people were polite for the most part though. Definitely in a sketchy part of town.

The most comfortable place to stay in Johnstown. Accessible to all sites: the Flood Museum, Stone Bridge, Inclined Plane, Path of the Flood, train station, Coney hot dogs. The staff was top notch!

I booked and paid extra for a room with a queen sized bed. I got to the hotel, and when I checked in I noticed the sleeve with my key in it had one number scratched out and a new one in its place. I went to my room and tried the key card multiple times and it wouldn’t work. I had to carry my luggage back down to the lobby, and told the front desk my key card didn’t work and I needed one that worked either for that room or any room with a queen bed. The front desk person gave me a new key card for a different room on the same floor. I went back up the elevator and tried my key card, went into the room and noticed it had 2 double beds. I went back down to the lobby, and told the front desk they put me in the wrong room. I showed them my hotels.com reservation which shows I booked a queen sized bed (cost more than a double bed). The front desk employee told me there was nothing he could do, there were no queen or king sized beds left in the hotel. I was confused since I had reserved and specifically paid for a queen sized bed. He said there were none left, someone must have given the one reserved for me away (hence the scratched out number on my original key card sleeve), and there was nothing he could do.

The ceilings in this hotel are very low. Im 5'6" and smaked my hand against the bathroom ceiling while getting dressed. The TV was broken. I notified the front desk. They sent someone who unplugged it and plugged it back in. Same problem. Went to lines then black screen. They said they could downgrade us to 2 doubles because no more king rooms were available. We prefer a larger bed. So they offered to reimburse the parking fee. Which is $5 per day. Said they couldn't do any better because I'd paid for the room using PayPal. I think a $10 discount wasnt a enough for the inconvenience.

I always enjoyed my stay at John’s town Holiday Inn apostle always pay for the breakfast Plan. The omelettes are fantastic

The staff did a wonderful job taking all precautions with the current Pandemic. Our room was clean and they had systems in place to keep everyone safe during the stay.
