Holiday Inn Staunton Conference Center

This was not a great experience. My check in was every bit of a noxious, I came off the road tired I had to sit at the front desk for 30 minutes while the lady tried to figure out how to do her job.I paid in full through hotels.com , and she kept trying to charge me the full price for the room and the security deposit I explain to her over and over that I had already paid and showed her my receipt through my email from hotels.com. She had me stand there while she contacted her boss at home who did not answer the phone and finally after I stood in a long enough and she could tell I was getting aggravated because I stopped at the hotel during my travel at night because I was tired and ready to go to sleep at night stand at the front desk like an idiot, she then gave me a room key. You wake up and the girl at the front desk gets annoyed because you need sugar for the coffee that you have to wait for somebody to get, I normally stay in Marriott now I know why Holiday Inn might as well be called Motel 6 at this point The beds were not comfortable and the overall experience of this hotel is very poor

We were very pleased with the hotel. Especially since it has a Restaurant. It's very difficult to find Restaurants in this Covid Pandenmic. They had adequately spaced seating. The Menu wasn't expansive but it was sufficient

Toilet in one of our rooms was stopped up had to wait for maintenance the next morning who never showed up btw. Couldn’t get a late check out but oh our toilet will be fixed sometime after we leave I guess smh. I was going to book another night but no thank you.

Hotel with a restaurant but no room service during a pandemic!!!?

Nice staff. Clean. Close to interstate. In visiting family.

Stayed one night on way from Charleston to D.C. to see Wilson Presidential Library in Staunton. Hotel is a few miles away but bright, airy and comfortable. Had decent restaurant, not much else around but served our purpose.

The stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The room had everything we needed, was very clean and all of the service we received was excellent. With a lot of COVID-19 concerns and adjustments affecting everyone, including decisions to stay in a hotel, this Holiday Inn couldn’t have been more supportive of those concerns. We enjoyed both breakfasts and a dinner at the in-house restaurant.

We ate in the restaurant and they double billed our room. They said the initial deposit for incidentals would be used against the charge but it was not. Instead it was also charged. Big hassle trying to get that worked out
