DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld

I was very disappointed with the 7-day business stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld. This is the worst stay ever for me at "Hilton" branded Hotels. First, they encapsulated motel-like rooms and buildings as a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Resort. Second, they tried to charge me a resort fee: when I was checked in, the front desk explained to me that the extra fees were security deposit to be released to my credit card after check-out; but when I was checked out, the front desk told me that the extra fees were resort fees that I wasn't previously told at all; I was very glad that the front desk removed the extra fees from my account. However, the refund takes 7-10 business days, not as the previous person told me to be released immediately. I guess the difference is between a hold-up charge and an actual charge. Third, the UPS store in hotel forces to receive all mail-in packages for all guests, and forces to charge every package for $12 on the hotel guests, which is hidden from the guests as well without any former notice on the booking information. I strongly urge the refund, however, I could not at this moment. This hotel really ruins the reputation of the brand of DoubleTree by Hilton. Overall, my experience was not good. But I have to say that the hotel people are still kind and helpful.

They advertise their brand new & fresh rooms on the website. Our room looked nothing like that. The floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in weeks, we found clumps of hair, change, trash under the beds. The AC didn’t work, it was either below freezing or sweltering hot. The bathtub was dirty. The pool was ice cold. Only perk was that our room was right next to the walkway to SeaWorld.

The hotel was great. No breakfast offered but there was a restaurant to buy food.

Its was a pleasant stay for us, Pretty decent and well maintained amenities, Kids and Adults can have fun with minigolf, pool, table tennis and with checkers. Our room was lagging with micro wave Owen, i mean its must thing to have in a resort which is near to tons of tourist attractions, people will stay for more than 2 to 3 nights and they need to heat their foods. Apart from this..we enjoyed the stay at hotel.

I loved my stay. There was plenty for the kids to due and also it helped that they have A lounge by the pool. The family pull was great as well. The location was great we walked to sea world right out our hotel doors.
