The Westin Tampa Waterside

The WiFi was $10.00 a day. No choice but to valet park. That cost another $35.00 a day. Not worth the price of the hotel in general. Refrigerator was broken. The rooms aren’t as nice or clean as advertised. Save the money and stay somewhere else.

This hotel has some challenges with service due to COVID but the staff they did have were friendly. I suggest that they add a microwave and bigger fridge to the suites, especially since their food services/ amenities are all closed. The mattress on the couch bed should also be upgraded!

EXPENSIVE!!! Very nice place but in the middle of downtown Tampa and they take full advantage of it. You are treated as if you're made of money. $32 a day valet parking. Beautiful place and I like being there but I didn't like what it did to my wallet. Also, the fact got my Marriott rewards membership did not budge nor was honored is something that did not make me happy. Still had to pay for internet which is outrageous.

The experience itself was wonderful and considering the price for parking downtown overall, the valet was decently priced as well. I would most certainly stay again. The team was incredibly helpful and gracious.

It was an awesome stay! Especially through the pandemic. Parking could’ve been cheaper & more convenient especially for guests.. However it was still an awesome restful weekend!! I definitely will be back again! Perfect setting!!

The Valet attendants, Front Desk Associates, and the House Keeping people were all EXTREMELY friendly. Having said that...the floor by the front door looked like coke or some sort of brown liquid had been spilled or dried up and the same type of staining was on the upper rim in the sink. I didn't have anything but water in the room the entire time I was there...and if the floor had those obvious glaring dirty spots, it makes me a little nervous how clean the rest of the room actually was DESPITE all the labels on the door fridge and remote talking about how clean it was. I wasn't in the room very much after that, but was disappointed to have paid for an upgraded room to find it in obvious less than desirable condition.

COVID certainly changed everything this year, but the Westin did their best to make our trip safe and comfortable. With minimal staffing we still experienced a clean, welcoming environment. The view from the room was beautiful! Valet parking staff and convenient pet arrangements were great. Kim at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She was a beacon of light in these crazy dark pandemic times. Looking forward to using this hotel in the future when all their services are available after the COVID limitations are lifted.

We always enjoy staying here! From the valet staff to the front desk they are all welcoming and happy to help. Great location as well to entertainment and food.

This valet parking only hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a wedding and other events going on so there was no bell hop service available that night. That meant we had to haul our luggage ourselves, no biggie but we were tired from the long drive. These events also meant several intoxicated people running around without masks. As a result I kept my explorations to a minimum and only ventured outside my room to pick up my food order friom the neighboring Jackson's restaurant. Their food was quite good and in the mid-price range. Dinner for two cost me $70. The room was well appointed, spacious and accmodated all six pieces of our luggage. I guess because of covid linen seems regulated in some places, this place had three sets in the room. I'm sure more was available upon request. The best part of my stay was the waterside view of Tampa Bay. I would recommend this place to anyone and I'd stay there again in a minute!
