Brownlows Inn

DON'T take room 22!. The Karaoke from next door finishes at 1am and you seem to be directly on top of it!. The window balckouts need sorting out at the top opener has dropped and only the bottom has blinds on. There is only tea provided with the kettle, no coffee. These are the only negatives. Room is OK, bed is OK, bathroom is OK. I'd return but request a low numbered room.

Rooms were not ready on time ,had over an hour wait ,not very good when you have arranged to meet others . When getting into room ,which we were told was delayed because cleaners were running late but had been cleaned to find no toilet roll dirty condom hanging out of waste bin ,not good when we have spent a lot of money on the room .local good ,bar staff friendly .

The hotel is nothing like how it’s shown in the photos. The entry for the hotel is from a pub. You have to walk through the pub to get to the hotel door. The room was so tiny and we paid so much money and it was non-refundable. The bed was so tiny and uncomfortable. The room had no table or fan or a cupboard. Overall, it was not worth the money.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. The room was spotless and the staff friendly. It wouldn't be suitable for people with mobility issues as the stairs are steep and narrow. We would stay there again.
