Surpassed all my expectations. Incredible value for the price. The room was huge and everything was spanking clean and immaculately designed. The service was good, there is a buggy service to your hotel room from the lobby, and they come almost instantaneously. The hotel was not very crowded in mid May, so it was almost as if we had the pools to ourselves […] most of the time. There are 3 infinity pools, all with views of the hills and sea below, gorgeous to swim at dusk and hear the cicadas chirp before they roost. There is a free shuttle bus to and from patong beach at the bottom of the hill, guests can book in advance to guarantee a seat. Quite important as it's impossible to walk up the hill to the hotel from patong beach otherwise, too far. The breakfast had a wonderful selection. And there are many corners around to resort to discover and just hang out, with plenty of clean comfy seats everywhere. There's even a games room for rainy days, with pool tables and pingpong tables, free for guests to use. Firstly, the hotel is perched on a cliff up from Patong Beach. Awesome Views, beautifully designed and situated hotel. Infinity pool overlooking lush greenery and the sea. Avista Hideaway Resort & Spa is a new hotel in Phuket-Patong and offers a unique design and beautiful outlook compared to other hotels available. Avista is located slightly out of the main area of Patong Beach which we preferred as we found Patong at times a little too much. On arrival you are greeted with a complimentary drink, friendly staff and a […] one pager form to fill out which outlines various items to select and provide your preference e.g. types of food or cuisine, drinks, hobbies/sports of interest and pillow type selections! When it comes to guests and customer service, attention to detail is second to none. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus at various times throughout the day to drop and pick up guests from the hotel to take them into main town Patong (Jungceylon Shopping Centre) - make sure you book in advance at reception to secure your seat. The hotel staff were friendly but at times we found it hard to communicate as their english wasn't great. The hotel amenities were amazing especially the pool areas. The pool areas and surrounding landscaping were exceptional and it was nice not fighting for a pool bed as there were many available. The rooms were decent size, clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Overall and after seeing the other hotels, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. On 1st impression, Avista Hideaway is a gorgeous resort; with its unimpeded vista of the sea and hills. The decor is modern with touches of Thai and Middle Eastern influences. But once you've stayed there for a couple of days, the "cracks" in design and service start showing. The room numbering is just plain illogical and you can expect to get lost […] finding your room the first few times; especially since the blocks are not that near each other and situated on hilly terrain. Toilet paper roll holders are badly designed and stop turning after 1 or 2 squares; so unless you are Sheryl Crow, you will be frustrated trying to clean yourself. Apart from the expatriate staff, the local and Filipino service folk are polite but not very trained at all. There was constant miscommunication about the afternoon tea and happy hour offerings for the club rooms- quite mindboggling. I never even got to meet my butler! The club benefits are not value for money as of now. Having dark blue lighting in the restaurant is not classy; it just makes all your food look unappetising.Avista only looks like a luxury resort; it has some ways to go before it delivers like one. Clean and nice new resort located in the hills not far from patong. Good breakfast selection. Privite beach was not as expected. Impossible to swim at low tide and its location is not very good. Noisy aircon is the only negative thing with the room. Area around the resort is still looks like a half finished contruction site

Absolutely loved this place! Location was good, not too far from the action. But mainly, the Service was outstanding, the rooms were fantastic, the food was impeccable, enjoying drinks at the Fluid Bar while sitting in the pool water, the interesting modern hotel layout. We checked about the hotel on the web before booking. They said this hotel opened from Oct 2011,but it has been opened for 10days when we were there. When we arrived at Hotel around 5o'clock,there are so many guests at reception area,because rooms were not prepared yet. We had to wait for 2hours. The hotel seemed realy nice with loads of potential to be a great place to stay if you're looking fo ra little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the main beach. Unfortunately there were lots of unfinished "things" in the resort, probably due to it only being opened for a week when we stayed there. 酒店入住很舒服，就是离巴东海滩远，开车要半小时，酒店有直通巴东海滩的班车，不过要提前约，一次只能做14个人，早餐不好，样式太少。从山上走到山下要半小时。酒店给人特科幻的感觉

Отель новый, находится в 10 мин. езды от Патонга. Мы брали в аренду машину, поэтому проблем с передвижением не было. На территории отеля очень тихо и красиво! Два отличных бассейна, детский бассейн - странный, неудобный, дети в нем не купаются, но в отеле есть доски для плавания и круги, поэтому детки без проблем купаются в общих бассейнах, где глубина […] не превышает 150 метров. А также, есть очень красивая детская комната с массой новых игрушек и игр, и нянечкой, которая занимается детками. Завтраки однообразные, через неделю не знаешь за что браться..
