"Caravel Guest House, Edinburgh"
Positives: The room was quite spacious. The owner made the breakfast himself. He was quite courteous and provided good service though the breakfast was same everyday and the number of items was limited. Negatives: The bathroom was really small. The room lacked basic necessities like Phone. The wifi was advertised but didnt work during the whole duration […] of our stay despite following up every day. The door didnt have any handle outside which made it difficult to close and lock it from outside. It didn't seem like that they were washing the towels everyday. "Greate breakfast"
A really nice 2 star hotel that lies about 15 min walk from princess street. The best with the this hotel was service and helpfullness of the staff. The breakfast was also very good
"Convenient"
Pleasantly surprised. 2 stars had me a little worried but the service was first class and the stay was great value. Would recommend for single and business travellers as a comfortable stay.

"Great location, historic surroundings"
The Caravel is an easy walk to the city centre, although parking may be a problem. The historic building and neighborhood are fascinating, but carpets and paint are well worn, and rooms are a bit cramped. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
"Rigtig godt hotel med MEGET fin betjening"
Vi boede på hotellet en uge og vi er meget tilfredse med opholdet. Meget flink og høfligt personale der virkelig kræsede om gæsterne.
"Caraval guest house"
Kun to stjerner på hotellet, men det er hyggelig, rent, god frokost og pent. Ligger sentralt i fht sentrum. Og er stille og rolig. Ingen spesielle fasiliteter, men det hadde vi ikke bruk for og prisen var behagelig for lommeboken :)
Das Bad stank nach Schimmel, der Hausherr vergaß, dass seine einzigen Gäste Frühstück wollten, das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt okay.
attention à l'arrivée , le proprietaire essaiera de vous faire payer une deuxieme fois sous pretexte qu'il n'a recu qu'un acompte de hotels.com... sinon chambre pas trop mal ms douche a la limite de l'utilisable.. petit déjeuner pas terrible.. le seul avantage, proche du centre et tarif correct...
