Oliver St John Gogarty - Dublin

This hotel is located in the party district of Ireland (Temple Bar) I learned the hard way. I have three kids and we were up all night. If your single or a young couple go for it. Location was great, but if you choose to stay here better bring some ear plugs. Remember Hostel not Hotel.

I'm a regular visitor to Dublin having family connections in Ireland. This time around me and a friend needed somewhere to stay overnight for the football at the Aviva Stadium. I was already a fan of Oliver St. John Gogarty's through eating in its upstairs restaurant and drinking in its ground floor bar on previous visits. Both are excellent, great […] food, great drink and brilliant atmosphere. When I saw accomodation was available at Gogarty's I didn't hesitate to book and its price for 1 night was superb value. On arrival staff were very welcoming, very friendly and very helpful. The room was very basic as expected for what we required but was very clean and well kept. The shared bathroom was also of a very good standard being clean with good supply of clean towels and toilet paper. The shower, sink and toilet all worked well too. The hotel overall is very clean and well looked after. It is situated in the heart of Temple Bar so is near all the bars and restaurants aswell as being in short distance to the needle where ths big shops are. Everything is within 5-10 minutes walking distance. There are plenty of bus stops, taxi's and the DART station nearby. Please be aware if you are visiting Temple Bar for the first time and are staying in accomadation there, It is a very lively and busy place for pretty much 24 hours a day so is very noisy especially at night. So if you want to rest peacefully after a long day in your room Temple Bar is probably not somewhere I would recommend for you to stay. We on the other hand knew this so noise was not a problem for us as we were celebrating long into the night after an Irish victory and qualification to the European Championships. I would highly recommend Oliver St. John Gogarty's to anyone but mainly young people and friends, groups. Enjoy Dublin and enjoy Ireland. There is no finer place on earth. Przeczytaj więcej

very nice, clean and special hotel in the centre of Temple Bar. Therefore a bit loud day and night.

Fantastiskt bra läge. Nära till allt, turistbyrå, flygbuss och inte minst pubarna Lite stojigt på gatan utanför på natten då alla pubar stängde.

Großzügiges Appartement in absoluter Top-Lage mitten in Temple Bar. Ausstattung des Appartements (insbes. der Küche) ist sehr gut.

Wil je een weekend lekker uitgaan en slapen middenin het Temple Bar district, dan zit je in dit hotel goed. De kamer (2 persoons) was oké, geen poespas maar netjes, alleen de wifi is slecht. Je krijgt er "ontbijt" bij (brood, jam, koffie, thee, jus d'orange). Volgend jaar gaan we weer...

Vi stannade under tre nätter och hade en jättebra vistelse på detta hostel. Det ligger mitt i tempel bar området och det är gångavstånd till det mesta i Dublin. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och för att vara så billigt så var det väldigt rent och bra!

Ett hostel med Dublins bästa läge. Prydligt och prisvärt. Dock mycket väsen från puben, men tyst efter kl 03. Dålig gardin så rummet var upplyst från gatan. Äcklig lukt i rummet. God och generös frukostbuffé. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Bodde på taket i leilighet og haddee støy fra gata på det ene soverommet, men ikke på det andre. Ligger midt i smørøyet og er en artig plass, så det kan absolutt anbefales dersom man ikke forventer et firestjerners hotell. Standard er som man kan forvente av et hostel.
