"Beautiful and safe"
The hotel is new and just a short taxi ride to the markets and hub of Da Nang. The hotel is clean, comfortable, stylish, and safe. It's like a little paradise in the middle of all the hustle bustle of Da Nang. I highly recommend it...best place we stayed at while in Da Nang.
"Mercure Danang Hotel"
The hotel is not located in a convenient location but for 30,000 dong you can go to the central area which is only less than 7 min. away or 40 min. walk. However, the hotel is extremely clean and according to North America standard a true 4-star hotel. The staff are very helpful and accomodating.
"Not fantastic, but not bad."
We stayed here for one night on the last day of our 4 day trip in Da Nang as we had a morning flight and it was closer to the airport. The check in process was a breeze, thanks to the friendly guest service personnels at the reception. The room was nice and comfortable and the toiletries provided were complete and well presented. The interior of the […] bathroom and its fittings were impressive except for the shower that gave us trickling water and was not consistent with its temperature. As we were only staying for one night and it was already late at night when we got back, we didn't complain to the management though it was quite uncomfortable. There is a lot of construction happening around the hotel which can be seemn from the big glass window in the room, but if looked further there's a magnificent view of the river. The location of the hotel is a bit inconvenient without a car (but there are always taxis waiting downstairs) and there is nothing much to see or do around the area. You will need to go Da Nang town via taxi for a better choice of food or shopping. Also, not many drivers know where Green Island is so going back to the hotel can be a challenge. The place is wonderful except for the fact that it is a taxi ride to everywhere. Highly recommend the dim sum menu in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel.
