I couldn't fault the hotel in terms of service, cleanliness and decor. My only complaint was the lack of natural light, I stayed on the lower ground floor and had a tiny window.

Just stayed here for one night when I was in Amsterdam for business - but I would have gladly stayed here longer, and will come back again if I can! The hotel's decor seemed brand new and was very stylish - the best European hotel I've ever stayed in! The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom was great - large rain shower! The hotel was lovely. Reception could not have been more helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was decorated in a modern chic style. The elevator was surprisingly large for European hotels. The location was about a 5 or 10 minute walk from all the sites, museums and beauty of Amsterdam's historic canals. The only negative […] thing I could possibly say is that the plumbing was a little bit noisy. We heard pipes make noise starting very early in the morning. Everything about this hotel is spot on with it being such a new hotel. It is an immaculate condition, the service is excellent and you feel like you are getting excellent value for money. Very nice hotel. Rooms very nice and well decorated. Friendly staff. Location was descent. 5 minute walk from Heineken, 15 minutes from city center. Taxi ride from city center around 8 euro if you don't feel like walking. Overall nice hotel

My friends and I just loved this hotel. Our room was so great. Nice, new, and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Great decor. Even the coffee machine was fabulous. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was actually very nice. All looked new and contemporary in design. The main thing to complain was the fact that the windows cannot be opened in the room, so if you like a bit of fresh air its not your place. Further the ventilation in the bathroom was VERY loud. Brand new, very helpful staff, great restaurant, super location. We loved the Notting Hill and you will as well!

Shower door seal wasn't great but we were quickly upgraded to a deluxe room. Excellent stay in a convenient location. high quality and good value

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, comfortable modern rooms. Wifi inclusive is always a good bonus but breakfast costs are so high it was not worth having it!

Great Hotel, not in the thick of it, but everywhere is easily walkable, or there's a tram stop right outside. would very much recommend this hotel, although the breakfast is too expensive especially as it's buffet style and not freshly cooked, which i'd expect for 20 Euro's.

Excellent room, hotel in quiet location but close enough to the action. Only issue we found was the breakfast was expensive, we tried it the first day and it wasn't worth the money.

Right off a tram that goes to Central Station, it was easy to "live" for a day at this exquisite hotel and stay on budget. Bike rentals and museums are within a 20 minute walk, grocery store just across the canal. Tram to Central Station less than 1 minute away. The relation between price and quality is very good. The room was beautiful, the bathroom very spacious and it has a few nice gadgets like a Nespresso machine in the room. I highly recommend it.

The reception is beautiful, and everything looks very nice. It's only at closer inspection that not all is what it seems. Details just don't work. Just some examples - Rooms have high tech minibars that are broken (I've been in two different rooms over a month and have yet to see it work). The bathrooms have glass doors to the bedroom with motion sensors […] on the bathroom light - go to the loo at night and you're stuck in bright room for five minutes until the timer decides to turn itself off. There are many pillows, all different, a nice touch in theory but in the end they are actually all different so don't work together for a comfortable night. For the business traveller like myself, the worst part is the '8th floor' - a euphemism for the basement rooms. Deluxe singles are down there, and have tiny slit windows to feet at street level above. Better to save yourself money and go for the rather small, but airy standard singles. Do it before you get there - I downgraded myself to avoid being the spacious coffins but was offered no discount. They actually told me off for doing it too. Its a shame, they have clearly really tried to make something special, but so many small problems do add up to some serious deficiencies. Przeczytaj więcej

The staff were very nice and helpful. They let us check in early after a long international flight and this was extremely appreciated. We stayed 4 nights. There was a leak in our room and someone came immediately to fix it (very impressive). The location was good if you don't mind doing a lot of walking but that was a goal of our trip. It is not next […] to any sights, but it is central to everything, so we walked to every museum and sight we planned to see on our trip. We could also walk to many restaurants that were very near the hotel and not in tourist areas. The room was beautiful and well designed, so it did not feel as small as it was. The quality of materials employed was very high, the carpet, sheets, towels etc. felt luxurious. We absolutely loved the complementary Nespresso coffee. The internet worked very well, wired and wireless. On the down side, there are few frustrations. The halls and public areas are poorly ventilated and smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana (maybe this is par for the course in Amsterdam, but this is an expensive 4 star hotel). The bathroom light works only on motion detection and frequently turned off when we were in the shower. The bathroom has a glass door and windows to the room (which can be shuttered) so there is not a lot of privacy. The hotel could improve comforts with some very small measures like providing tissues and a soap dish. The design of the sink is nice visually but practically very awkward. It is too late to change now, so they should really sit w/ some costumers and figure out how to make use of the tiny vanity space better. In spite of these small issues, overall, I would stay at this hotel again (but bring tissues and a soap dish). Przeczytaj więcej

Nice hotel, good location, good service except that they could not fix the shower glass door and so water was getting on to the floor - used extra towels to abosorb the water. I though breakfast was expensive Euro 23.50.

I stayed at the Hotel Notting Hill for just one night on business but is was a perfect room for getting things done. Easy to get to and close to most parts of the city. Free wired and wireless internet was great! I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for business travellers

pros: Lovely rooms, clean and attractive overall modern design. Helpfull smiling staff always ready to assist. Cons: Design of bathroom not very functional. Glass doorsand window leading from the bathroom into the room do not offer any privacy.

The hotel is near museum area, walking distance, and is very comfortable and extremely clean. The staff is very helpful. The only drawback is the restaurant price, very expensive. The breakfast cost too much, but there are several very good options nearby . At the street named Utrechestraat there are very nice cafés. However at least one day you should […] try lunch or dinner for the food is delicious. Some equipments are not working properly as the small elevator at the hotel entrance that should be very helpfull when you arrive with heavy luggage. If you like coffe there is a Nespresso machine in the room but inquire about coffee price before starting using it. There are several trams stops near the hotel, one just in front of it. Very helpful to go to anywhere in Amsterdam. However the neighbourhood is very nice and there was no problem walking nearby. When arriving from the airport by train one can get a taxi to the hotel that will cost around EU 15,00 or take tram 4 or 25 from Central Station, and stop at Stadhouderskade. Both options are good. There is no need to take a taxi from airport, this costs around EU 50. When I return to Amsterdam I really intend to stay in this hotel again. Przeczytaj więcej

Wondeful hotel to stay at. We arrived late, carrying backpacks and exhausted, the staff were very welcoming and kind to us. It was a lovely room and we had an amazing sleep. Stay here if you are ever fortunate enough to be in this great city.

This hotel was absolutely great, I did not find anything wrong with it, service was great, room was amazing, food was really good, I will go back everytime i'm in Amsterdam.

An absolutely great business hotel - it's brand new (May '11) a short taxi ride from the train station - really well appointed room - very comfortable small bar and bistro! Highly recommended!

Its a brand new hotel and we were one of the first customers. They still have some minor adjusting to do, but a great location, as it is close to centre, but not in the centre, so it is much more quiet and peaceful. All attractions are in walking distance. Good service and friendly staff. Only thing I would wish was they had windows that could open. […] The air-conditioning needs some fine tuning, but otherwise, rooms are good and comfortable, modern design. € 40 from the airport or € 12-14 from the Central Station by taxi. Das Hotel ist sehr modern und komfortabel ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider gibt es am Nachmittag niemanden (ausser der jungen, netten Rezeptionistin), der mit dem Gepäck helfen kann. Das Hotelparkhaus mit nur 6 Parkplätzen ist um die Ecke (auch hier kein Valetparking möglich). Die Lage ist sehr gut z.B. Das Van Gogh Museum ist […] nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Me hadde eit trivelig opphold påsken 2012. Hotellet sto til forventingane. God frukost, middag, passelig avstand til sentrum. Trivelige- og service minded personell. Stilt og rolig område for oss som vil sove godt om natten :) Kan anbefales !

Hôtel agréable , un peu excentré puisque près du quartier des grands musées mais très bien desservi par le tram 4 (station en face de l'hôtel) pour aller dans le centre. Chambres modernes et confortables ( lits super!)Petits déjeuners chers mais très copieux et de qualité ( avec du "vrai café" et pas de la lavasse ! une bonne adresse !

Sehr guter Service, tolle Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer sind sehr schön. Sogar die Kellerzimmer sind sehr schön. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Quarto grande, confortável, limpo, conservado e muito bem decorado. Assim como o banheiro. Roupão e chinelos a disposição, assim como uma máquina de Nespresso no quarto com algumas cápsulas de cortesia que eram repostas diariamente. A localização não é das melhores, mas fica em frente as estações 4 e 25 o que facilita a locomoção. Perto do Heineken […] Experience e razoavelmente perto do Rijksmuseum e do museu Van Gogh. Hotel Notting Hill är ett av de fräschaste och nyaste hotell jag har bott på. Renoverades i maj 2011 och vi bodde där i juli. Hotellet ligger inte mitt i centrum meni ett trevligt och lugnt område ungefär 15 minuters promenad från centrum. Nära till tunnelbanan. Två intressanta inredningsdetaljer i rummet var glasdörren och fönstret till toaletten. […] Dessa detaljer bidrog till ett ljust och fint badrum men också fri insyn till toaletten och ingen ljuddämpning mellan toalett och sovrum. Man behöver därför ha en avslappnad relation till sin rumskamrat. Kanske inte rekommenderat för en första romantisk weekend tillsammans. :) Hotellet har ung och trevlig personal. Relativt hög depositionsavgift vid incheckningen som tog några dagar att få tillbaka. Bra internetuppkoppling på rummet. Przeczytaj więcej

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, die Zimmer sind sehr geraeumig und und haven eine hervorragende Ausstattung. Einige der Zimmer liegen allerdings im Keller - was etwas gewoehungsbeduerftig ist. Die Strasse ist zudem sehr laut und die Zimmer im Keller leiden unter den Fussbodengeraeuschen des Restirants darueber.

The breakfast offered it the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Completely overpriced with little or no quality. It is such a shame as the hotel is great: good location, great rooms, friendly staff!

Rigtig fint hotel, men mangler lige lidt finish. Lyset på badeværelset tænder automatisk, smart men står man i badet går det ud ikke så smart.

Bodde 1 uke på Notting Hill da jeg reiste på "husmorferie" på egen hånd i juli mnd. Bruker bevisst lang tid på å finne et flott hotell når jeg reiser på slike turer, og ble IKKE skuffet nå heller:)) Koselig betjening, koselig og lite hotell med hyggelig atmmosfære, kjempeflott rom med utsikt til kanalen, lekkert bad og kjempegod og myk seng! Hotellet […] er nytt fra mai d.å., så alt er nytt og delikat. Hvis det er noe jeg skal sette fingeren på, så er frokosten dyr ( ca 23 Euro, og ikke verdt prisen,- spis heller på en av de mange sjappene a la Delli De Luca e.l., der får du god mat og drikke for et par Euro,- så kan du med god samvittighet legge mere penger i deilig lunsj og / eller middag!) Middagene på hotellet falt heller ikke helt i smak : begrenset meny, små porsjoner og "rare" sammensetninger,- spis heller ute på 2byen":)) Sentral beliggenhet til de fleste severdigheter, og trikken har holdeplass rett utenfor,- tar deg ca 10 minutter å komme til Sentralbanestasjonen. Anbefaler hotell Notting Hill på det aller varmeste,- for min del var det bare Hugh Grant som manglet (he,he!),- og det er et sikkert førstevalg neste gang jeg skal til Amsterdam også!! Das Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, stylisch und gepflegt. Außerdem liegt das Notting Hill sehr zentral d.h. fast alle Attraktionen sind schnell erreichbar. Insgesamt eine super Atmosphäre!

A very high quality hotel with a touch of luxury. Rooms are not the biggest, however there is still enough space for normal activities. No car park, P-house 10 mins away by foot. The hotel is not in immediate city centre but still within a reasonable walking distance from downtown sights. Quiet location. Beds are very comfortable and the shiny and spacious […] bathroom is great. Large high quality LCD tv in the room. During our trip throughout Europe this was by far the best hotel we stayed in and also the price was right. The hotel gives you a true feeling of a Boutique Hotel as everything they have in the rooms and public areas are of high quality. A very very good experience indeed, would defenately stay again. It was my first time in Amsterdam and I heard from others that the hotels there are expensive and not good. But this hotel open this year (mars 2011), and it was amazing. Really great design, comfortable, nice stuff, clean everywhere. Out room was quiet, very clean, had everything. Fresh nespresso in the morning, air conditioning, very good accommodation. The […] only minus is the glass door to bathrooms; that means you can see everything what you are doing in there. We thought it was that kinda of door who gets blurry when the light went on, but no. Hotel was awesome. Comfortable and very new. Disadvantage: location and no parking. I had to wait 30 minutes untill a guy (not from the Hotel) came to take my car. I got a little bit afraid of loosening it.

prettig hotel en zeer goeie ligging. ook het Carhotel (auto wordt gehaald en gebracht) is echt een meerwaarde. we hadden kamer 806,maar deze ligt dus in de kelder,op zich niks mis mee,maar wel erg weinig ramen (kunnen ook niet open) en wat heel irritant was dat je continu water hoort lopen! volgens mij zit er een afvoer aan het hoofeinde.

3 Deluxe double rooms waren gebucht. 2 Zimmer hiervon wurden im Souterrain des Gebäudes angeboten. Erst nach Protest wurde zumindest 1 weiteres Zimmer in den normalen Etagen zur Verfügung gestellt.
