Really close to ski lifts and main street shuttle, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Room was clean and otherwise ok.

"Good location but Poor Rooms, Misleading photos"
The location was good, but we were severely disappointed with the room we got. It looked NOTHING like the photos on the website. It was poorly decorated from the 1980's, the bed was very old and un-sleepable, and we could not control the heat from our room so the room was too hot all night long and made for a long night of no sleep. And on top of that, […] there were no glasses in the bathroom to brush teeth, etc., no hair dryer, and no coffee maker in the room. Basically no amenities at all. Very disappointing. The one decent thing was in terms of customer service. We did complain and they changed our room for us on our second night and it at least included the aforementioned amenities. Although we still couldn't control the temperature of our room and it still looked nothing like the photos on the website. "Good location and price"
Every room seems to have a jet bathtube!
"Shadow Ridge Resort in Park City"
Great location. We enjoyed the stay and the rooms were updated. We loved the location, but the rooms are owned by individuals so they vary with the furnishings. Our rooms were very nice, but the televisions were old with no DVD players and we would have preferred newer mattresses.

Friendly, helpful front desk (Nash), Good parking, with one separate section that had 7 foot clearance (great for me with top box). Room had a slight tobacco smell, but not worth asking for a move for. Good view of mountain and easy walk to Park City Lifts. G.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful since a mistake was made in the booking process but they quickly took care of us. The only complaint I would have is that our rooms were very 1980's. We did spend some time in our rooms and the furniture in the living room was very small and uncomfortable. The Cable TV didn't work. The towel rack fell off the wall whenever you tried to hang a towel. The carpet had large folds in the middle of the room to trip you up and was so worn away in the entry to the bathroom that tacking nails would stab your foot unless you put a towel down. The jets in the jacuzzi tub didn't work. The mattress was very cheap […] and felt like it was over 20 years old. And waiting for someone to show up at the front desk sometimes took over 30 minutes. FOR THE BUSINESS TRAVELER, NOT SO MUCH. OCTOBER AND EARLY NOVEMBER IS THE TIME THE HOTEL DOES ITS REPAIRS. CONVENIENT TO EVERYTHING IN PARK CITY. LIKE THE UNDERGROUND PARKING.

This hotel has an after hour check in policy where instead of a clerk, there is a lockbox containing your keys. I never received an email explaining the procedure or giving me the access code. We had to repeatedly call the "help line." Finally, after 40 min, someone picked up the phone and we were able get taken care of. The Shadow Ridge Resort Hotel is like many time-shares or condos in the area. It is not staffed like a regular hotel - there is no front desk staff in the evening or early morning. Our check-in required getting a door code from a call box outside the main door after following a somewhat convoluted automated message system, then calling again from an […] inside phone for a wall safe code where our room key along with a dozen or so others were kept for "late check-in" (which is after 6PM). We had a decent view from the top (4th) floor, a very quiet stay for the one night we were there. The room was clean and the bathroom had been updated but somewhat awkwardly laid-out. A small but nice single balcony allowed for a nice outdoor view. We didn't care for the very firm mattress and after my wife showered I ran out of hot water during my shower. I didn't expect that at a 'hotel'. The room had a small TV set and a VCR player, no hair dryer, no ironing board. It was OK, but I think we'd spend $10 more and stay somewhere else next time. The place was clean, the room cozy with a huge tub. The location cannot be beat, just a short walk from restaurants and at the base of the mountain. Can't be beat for the price.
Our stay at Shadow Ridge was what we had wanted and more. We had no snags and it provided us the home away from home we wanted for the weekend. We will do this again.
"Messed up my reservation, upgraded us to a 4 star"
Upon arriving at the Shadow Ridge I was informed that my reservation was for 2 nights instead of the 3 I had already paid for and they were complyetely booked. The desk clerk was not at all inclined to help me and told me to take it up with hotels.com, because it was not their mistake. After some arguing the clerk called his manager who immediatley […] admitted to their error and upgraded my family and I to a nicer property next door at no extra charge. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. There was no staff on duty for questions or replacement items. When we checked in, our room had NO soap to wash our hands or to shower with, and the toilet paper was almost out. I called and called the front desk number and it just rang until a message came on stating that this number has not been set up??? […] I was VERY disappointed. Przeczytaj więcej

"Shadow Ridge Resort Hotel- No service"
We stayed at this hotel on July 23, 2011 for one night. There was nobody at the front desk to check us in, instead a phone number to call. So we call the number and nobody picks up, we call again and no answer. Luckily another guest came by and told us there was a key box that had our room key in it and they knew the code. So, in essence, we were checked […] in by another guest. We then got to the room and wanted a glass of wine... no cups or glasses anywhere. So call front desk - no answer. Call housekeeping- no answer. Wander hotel looking for unlocked closet for glasses- nothing. The entire time we were at this hotel we did not recieve one bit of service. We did not see one employee. Beyond that, the hotel is conveniently located near Main Street, near shopping, etc. It was a nice room. I would imagine during the peak season (winter) there would be better service. I regret to read this type of review. It is always our intention to strive for outstanding customer service and a great experience at the Shadow Ridge. We are working hard to make this a premier spot for your vacation. We are working on improving at all times and appreciate the feedback so that we can improve. Shadow Ridge Resort Hotel — 1 odpowiedź kierownictwaShadow Ridge was convenient to everything at Park City, UT. However, I didn't like having no one at the front desk. It was a little confusing to say the least without human intervention. I also would have at least liked a small coffee pot in the room without having to go somewhere to get coffee.
"Great place to stay"
We rented the one bedroom condo and it turned out perfect for our needs. It was walking distance to the Park City Mountain Resort Alpine Sled and the free buses to Park City's Main Street. Some of the pleasant surprises were the kids movies (VHS) that were in the room, the spaciousness of the room, and the jetted tub. Our kids loved being in the tub. […] The swimming pool was a lot smaller than it appeared to be on the web site but the spa was nice. We did have some maintenance trouble: a leaky disposal(which they fixed) and three missing light bulbs that weren't very crucial to our stay. Overall, a great place to stay. We went in summer and the rate was incredible for what you get. I would recommend Shadow Ridge to friends and I would definitely stay there again. Przeczytaj więcej

Great location and very good price. Room and amenities were very good for the price. Its not luxurious but a very good value.

I think we got lucky and got one of the better two-bedroom units, but over all, for the price this place is fantastic. The front desk is not 24/7 and the service is not the Ritz, but for a great place with a great kitchen, in a perfect location...this place can't be beat. Would definitely stay there again.
"Remodeled Rooms-great location"
Our hotel room was a recently remodeled. It was spacious with a large master bathroom. The staff was helpful. Great location, you are literally steps away for the ski lifts and buses (free public transportation to main street and other locations).
