"Happily surprised by offering"
We usually stay in a little more upgraded motel but we decided to chance it here when nothing else available. Very surprised, it was clean with a clean and well running air conditioner. Our only complaint was they had a problem with the hot water heater that morning and we had very cool water for our showers. Bed was comfortable.

The first thing you will notice upon opening the door to your room is that it is very small. But we found it very clean and quiet. We stayed for three days and our only complaint is that the towels are so thin you can see through them. I suggest you bring your own if you can. You might want to bring your own pillows as well (very flat and uncomfortable). […] For what what it costs per night it is a good place to stay for a few days. For the rate, this is a very nice motel. America's Best Value emphasizes the things any budget traveler cares about at a basic level -- comfortable beds, a good heating/cooling system, good lighting, a fully functioning bathroom with good shower water pressure, and a good quality television with cable and wifi included. This hotel served its purpose as a place to lay my head when I decided late to attend a Florida State Seminoles football games. As is typical, all rooms in Tallahassee were booked early, and this optin 75 minutes a was the best one available. "Hotel Lake City Fl"
The room was nice. I did see 2 bugs. 1 in the bathroom and 1 next to the bed by the window. This is Florida. I see bugs every where. The coffee was weaker then I usually like. That was not you fault. The people where very nice. I am planning on coming back for New Year Eve. Thank you. Janice

Nice place to stay. Quiet and clean. Can't beat the price compared to other "better" motels.

We only needed a bed for the night on a long drive. We were surprised it still had a coffee pot and free wi-fi. It is a very basic motel.

"need new mattresses"
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, pool was cloudy, but one of the housekeepers said they just added chemicals so that could explain it. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were not fitted , the next morning we woke up to find we were not only sleeping on a bare mattress , we were sleeping on a blood stained one. "Lowest cost but not worth staying there again 4 me"
The room INSIDE was clean and comfortable. Outside the room however, was rather seedy. Lots of stray cats in the lot, peoples clothes hanging from the railing to dry, and just a plain unkempt building...

Drug dealer living at hotel, drug deals going on outside of their room. Many people coming with their children to use the pool who weren't staying at the hotel and didn't know anyone staying at the hotel.

Clean rooms, housekeepers very accommodating. Rooms included refrigerators and microwaves. Perfect hotel for our budget, would definitely stay here again.
"Friendly Staff, affordable rates"
This was actually my second stay at this location. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful with extra towels when requested. I will return to this location when staying in Lake City again.
