I loved the ambiance and decor. The front desk staff were courteous. There was no internet and a plugged sink. Staff tried to accomodate and brought a sheet on steps to take for internet, however, as I was under a time crunch I would have expected that seeing as it was a hotel issue they would offer a discount or something to appease those that it  […] affected. The colours (slate and grey) are very dark & cold.The lobby was cool (temp wise & it was not that cold a day, either). Stepping out of the elevator, I couldn't read the emergency diagram (looking for the stairs) cause it was so dark. Sandman rooms are too small probably because you use very large furniture and too much of it. Couldn't believe there […] was no fridge in the room. Even cheap hotels have fridges! We were staying in Prince George to attend a convention that was downtown - a short commute. The hotel is new and nicely appointed. A few small things yet to be finished. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small but nice hot tub and pool that we enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again. D & A

I stay at this Hotel in Prince George because of the location, cleanliness of the rooms, and how quiet it is. I always get a good nights sleep! Would recommend it to anyone!

This is a lower end hotel trying to look posh. The layout in our room was odd with very little room to manoeuvre around the toilet. The dark brown carpeting may not be a good choice given PG's winters. I wouldn't want to see it in a couple of years. Beds OK but the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. Finest hotel in the city. Our stay was most pleasant. It was the most modern room we have ever stayed in. Very clean. Close to everything you would want to do in the city. Hotel staff could have been a little more friendly. Would definately stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sandman Signature Hotel in Prince George! Everything was perfect! I would recommend it to anyone! Very clean and quiet!!

We stayed at this property with great expectations as it was a new hotel and upscale from the Sandman chain. When we arrived, the hotel was as expected (new, clean, modern) however... upon entering our room things were not as great as we expected. We arrived late in the evening and as such I went for a shower before bed. when I started the shower the […] first thing I noticed was there was a great deal of hair (Red and pubic) in and around the tub. I was forced to use one of the clean towels to remove it before entering. When I reached for the towel I again noticed long curled hair stuck in the towel that was neatly folded on the rack. (YUCK) When I turned the shower on I noticed the drain was not taking care of the water and I was forced to shower in a tub that drained so slow I was up to my ankles by the time I was done. The bed was another issue.... After pulling the covers back, again I noticed a great deal of personal body hair, so much so that I had to remove the covers and sheets altogether. I shook out the sheets and turned up the heat in the room as there was no chance I was going to sleep under those blankets. The hotel was booked so I was unable to relocate to another room. In the morning when I checked out, I told the cleark about what I had experienced and was told they would look into my concerns. No compensation no compassion, in other words "Big deal, Too bad" I would never recomend this property to anyone I knew. Przeczytaj więcej

i loved the resturant, rooms and service. However i believe a customer when charged full price for a stay should have access to all the facilities at the hotel. we could not gain access to the pool and hot tub area due to it being closed off to the customers. My wife and I had a 10 hour drive to Prince George and a hot tub would have been relaxing.

This amazing hotel is not what you expect in the north, plush thick large bath towels, comfy down comforter duvets, hip decorating, a room that oozes comfort and style....and a self serve latte machine in the coffee service area....can it get any better?

The room was lovely & modern, very clean, cool, quiet. The Chop restaurant was very accommodating to my food allergies, the breakfast was great. It was a bit tricky finding the Chop, as the hotel is very new & probably doesn't have all the directions in place.

In June of 2011 the hotel was not completely finished. Main restaurant and landscaping. What was finished was very nice.

The countertops,fridge,cupboards couch and bathroom were absolutely disgusting. The counters had a sticky substance all over them. The rest of the hotel room looked like it hadn't been clean since it was opened. Hair strands were all over the bathroom (tub and floors) and also all over the couch and chair. New Hotel. Service was helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet. Food was good. No complaints.

We stayed at the Sandman twice in the last two weeks and it was quiet, clean, comfortable. The beds were great, love the duvets. Pillows are too big, bring your own unless you like the big fluffy pillows. The only negative was that the pool wasn't open yet and the kids were soooo disappointed!
