Nice hotel, staff was friendly. One thing I do have to say is that they don't provide lotion and the walls are really thin you can hear ppl talking in the next room. Besides that it was a good stay.

My stay was nice and comfortable. I will stay at the motel again.

No bells and whistles, but it's clean and new. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff told me i had to plunge my own toilet because ther was no one tere to help me. Result was a room with no functionung toilet. Gross.

The rooms were the smallest I've ever seen. One small bed, very little room around the bed. We had three people and had a double room booked, but they only had singles. Ask for larger room, but no availability. If only one person was staying in the room, it would be just fine. This was a nice room but micro means just that....these rooms are quite a bit smaller, hence the name microtel. The hotel was clean, good place for a quick trip or not spending much time in the hotel.

Very clean and well maintained. Nice folks behind the desk. Rate was very reasonable and continental breakfast to tasty and very presentable. We definitely plan to stay there again when in san Angelo.

First day everything was good. Second day our keys did not work, no reason given from the front desk. When we entered our room it was not cleaned. Management did nothing to resolve the issue.

Comfortable but lacking. Allows pet which caused noise and I don't care for that. Let your pet at home ! Rooms are small. No lid on the toilet, which is cutting expenses too much. Unsanitary. Also could hear traffic from the Highway beside hotel.

My family and I stayed here for four nights, and were overall pleased with our experience. The breakfast had little selection, but covered the basics of coffee juice, cereal, and bagels. Stayed in this hotel on previous dates. Didn't care for the front desk staff this time. Unfriendly and not trained to do the job correctly. Had to settle for a room that needed minor repairs because they didn't know how to upgrade with paying. Housekeeping did not clean our room between nights. Had a stretch from midnight until 3 am where teens/young […] adults were yelling and running down the hall way. Everything was well maintained and clean. A bit simple but nice. My son and I liked the fresh waffles in the continental breakfast.

The rooms were very small, there was nowhere to sit outside, ie if you wanted to smoke, it cant be found on gps', just not a comfortable place.

San Angelo doesn't have many hotel options, so even basic rooms are typically overpriced. We were there to see family, and really only needed a comfortable place to sleep. Yes, the rooms are a bit smaller than other hotels, but for our needs, it was perfect! Only 1 night, room smelled new, beds VERY comfy (could use fluffier pillows :). Will definitely stay again next time we are in the River city.

Really comfortable beds!

This is a nice, clean, and the best place to stay in San Angelo, TX for dog loving owners. Staff was friendly, modern decor is calming, comp breakfast was good. Only complaint, the Inn is next to a night club (very noisy until midnight) and the walls are paper thin. You can hear the neighbors. With earplugs, perfect.

Upon arrival 6/10/11 we checked in went to our room, the room was dirty, the bathroom had not been cleaned, there were dirty footprints on floor, contact lens stuck on floor, dirty tub ring in footprints in tub. First desk worker said she cleaned it, but when we returned from dinner the room remained dirty, second desk worker came up with scrubbing […] pads, cleaner and finally got it clean enough to use. It took 3 people before it was cleaned. By then it was after midnight and my son had ASU orieintation the next morning. Very disappointed in service and cleaniness. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It would be nice if the toilets had lids that covered the seat so it could be used for additional space to lay things down. There was not much counter space in the bathroom to lay items. I stayed at the Microtel Inn and Suites in San Angelo for business. I booked the hotel online and it far exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean adn comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. Thanks for your accommodation.

Wow, bitterly disappointed. Tight rooms, modern but uber-cheap fixturing, no wkout room, bad-bad coffeee. The worst part -- noise all night long... My room was near a side access door, the transient guests were traveling ALL day-and-night out to huddle and smoke of a small side porch. Drunks running through the hall at night too. No staff to police […] bad guests. The staff is minimal and I don't believe they have ever stayed at any hotel/ motel in their lives -- poorly trained and without a clue. The blonde desk clerk at night was always on the main phone with personal calls... She was not aware of anything other than her call(s). Avoid this property... A text book of what not to do! I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel for the price. I stayed in a one queen bed by myself on a business trip and found the room small but perfectly arranged. My only complaints were a little too thin walls with some noise issues but not bad., and an issue withe the front desk. I booked through Hotels.com for one night and also called the hotel […] in person to see which rate would be the best and they were the same. I booked for one night and found out the next morning that I needed to stay another. I called the desk and spoke to a rude and unhelpful person who would not book me for another night without going through hotels.com. They also told me that the rate would be higher and after rechecking with hotels.com for one more night I found that the clerk was wrong. She wouldn't even let me check out and check back in personally without an issue. I got the feeling that they just didn't care or didn't need the hassle. I am notifying the management. Newer property, friendly and accommodating staff, good rooms...

I have never stayed at a Microtel, and had some concerns because it's not a well known name. I was surprised at the motel. The facility was fairly new, very clean, and the rooms exceeded my expectations. Very clean and had everything you need without sacrificing anything. The only "complaint" (and not a big deal) was the room seemed a bit cramped, felt more like a military style dorm room, but other than that, I have no major complaints. Little things like there is only one elevator, which can be an inconvienence during high traffic times (check out for example) and a breakfast that was nice, but rather limited in selection. The room was clean and comfortable. If you don't get a suite, it is rather small. That's not a complaint, rather an observation. It was just me, though, so it was perfect. The staff was super courteous and the housekeeping does not knock on your door anyway even if you put out the Do Not Disturb sign--I have experienced that elsewhere. this place was perfect!! they were very friendly .... i ended up having to take the kids with me and they were ok with it and didnt make me upgrade...the rooms are soooo nice..the place is NEW so everything still looks awesome!!! beds r clean and bathrooms were soo clean.. and it was right down the street from the dr office i had to go to......

Very clean room. Remember this is a small/micro room. Small desk area. Flat panel TV on wall. Couch like area is above the air conditioner. Breakfast - cereal, bran or blueberry muffins, oranges, apples, instant oatmeal or grits. No yogurt or waffles or bananas. Great staff. They are focused on customer service and making sure everything is okay,

I appreciated that the rooms are non-smoking, and that was one of the first things explained to us as I was checking in. The facility was very clean. The rooms were also clean, no bugs, no funny smells, nothing that would tarnish my experience. The breakfast was very simple: cereals, fruits, breads, coffee. Would definitely go there again.

We had to backtrack a bit because if you come from the east and don't exit well before seeing the hotel, you have to go to the next exit and circle back. This hotel has one-way access from one side only.
