very satisfied with our stay. The room was very clean and the lake front scenery is amazing. The overall site is very pleasant and beautiful. The room is a little bit small but it's clean and the bed and especially the pillows are very comfortable. This hotel has too small rooms to serve other purpose than just overnight stay. Room prices are very high for their size and quality. Some parts of the hotel gives it a modern look but most of its interiors are immersed deeply in early 80ties (or even before that) - especially pool area. Room had not enough space for all clothes we had so we kept them […] in our suitcases which barely fit in the sort of a dresser. We welcome many guests who love our lakeside location and enjoy our sandy beach. We do offer a dock for swimming, sunbathing, or for boaters to tie-up. Midsummer 2012 we also added canoes available for our hotel guests to enjoy. In reference to not receiving a statement upon check-out, this is highly unusual. We did have one morning this summer where due to a regional power failure and subsequent computer troubles we were unable to issue statements for several hours. Once services were restored later that day, we did print statements and mail them to guests for whom we had complete and contact information. We apologize if there was an oversight resulting in your not receiving your statement, and as always if something is not as you would expect, please contact us directly to allow us to make things right. We appreciate all feedback from our guests, and do take not of constructive suggestions for improvement and considerations for future developments.

With regards to the incident with your RV, I must apologize for the oversight resulting in the notice being placed on your vehicle after you had previously registered it with the front desk when you checked-in. We do welcome guests who choose to stay in our hotel as part of a larger RV trip. We do not however permit RV Camping on our property, although for visitors who are part of a larger group staying at the hotel, we are pleased to recommend several nearby RV campgrounds. In your review, you expressed the opinion that our rooms are overpriced. We take great care in setting our rates to be comparable with similar facilities within our marketplace, and adjust according to season. We have many guests who find great value in our rates. It is unfortunate that you did not feel similarly, however perhaps this might be attributable to the unfortunate incident regarding your vehicle.

It was just okay, nothing about this hotel screams resort besides the golf course being attached to it. Lets go over a list of some of the Pro and Cons. Pros: On the lake, Golf course, interesting wood work, fairly modern rooms, sandy beach, Clean rooms, far enough from the highway that is quite in the room, friendly staff. Cons: Restaurant served […] reheated food that was still cold, work out room is less than adequate, food prices were expensive and not at all worth the price, water stains on the ceiling showed signs of poor maintenance, besides golf things to do are minimal, no easy access to water sporting rentals, no real hiking or outdoor activities to speak of in the surrounding area at least that the staff know of. We are located on a sandy beachfront property with a dock, and within a 5 to 25 minute drive of many other recreational opportunities including hiking, boating, fishing, zip-line, wine tasting, and more. Recently we have added canoes for our guests to use during the warmer months. The term “resort” may hold different meanings for different people, and while we welcome many satisfied guests we apologize if our facilities did not meet with your personal expectations. Regarding your unfortunate dining experience, being served a hot entree that was cold is unacceptable, and I hope that you gave us the opportunity to correct this. We take great care in setting our menu options and prices to offer the best possible value to our guests, and a survey of comparable restaurants in the region will show that our prices are well within the average. Your review mentions water stains on the ceiling. I hope that you pointed these out to us, as our maintenance team works hard to ensure areas of our property requiring repair get the attention required. Sometimes as with any property including one’s own home the odd issue may arise such as a water leak, which I can assure you that our maintenance staff would respond to quickly. "two night stay"
This is truley a nice hotel. Again the staff were wonderful with all your needs. We stayed in a juccuzzi suite which was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and my wife loves juccuzzi tubs. The bathroom had a double shower head one from each side which was very nice my only concern would been waisting water( hope they recycle somehow and use again […] for irrigation on the golf coarse). The deck looked out over the lake. The beach was a short walk from the room which they kept the sand cleaned and groomed(which we enjoyed one afternoon). The restaurant on site was very good and quite reasonable. There was a small bar separate with TV for those who have to see the hockey game. I did get a chance to golf one morning and found the coarse alittle dried out in spots (dont know if this is winter burn or not enough water from the year before?) Other than that it was a very nice coarse. This is a hidden jem not to far from town (about a half hour) but for relactation not to close. We were booked in for 1 night for buisness and loved it so much we stayed for 3 nights, loved the spa and the food was great! Its out of the way so be prepared to hunker in but you have everything you need there. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite with a view and barley left the room. We stayed here for 4 night for our honeymoon, and we were not disappointed! The lodge staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the Jack Sams dining room was superb! Add that to the awesome lake and mountain views, a massage down at the spa, and golf right out the front door. Our stay was amazing!!Prawdziwa opinia gościa Hotels.com

"Amazing Hotel, 100% Luxury"
What can I say, it was pure 100% luxury staying at this hotel. We loved every minute of it. The design of the hotel ensures all rooms have a view of the lake which is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I would have one minor downfall on the hotel and the general area and that is that there is very little amenities on the water. For example, […] we were looking to maybe hire a kayak and it was next to impossible and we spent most of the day driving around to find a place to hire a canoe and it was only while wine tasting (we had given up on the water for the day) did we mention it and we were directed to one location that hires kayaks etc. Suggestion to the hotel, have a few kayaks or canoe on the beach for rent for thehotel residents. Quaaout Lodge was a great place to get away from it all. We had a great experience here. The golf course looks fantastic although we did not use it. The restaurant had great food although our server was not great. She may have been training for the upcoming season. The pool area was very clean and well maintained. The only thing in our room we did not […] like was our pillows...we found them too soft and uncomfortable. Lots of nice extras, great service in the main hotel. We'd definitely go back!
