Urban Hotel Kyoto - Kyoto

Very nice and modern hotel, placed in the southern part of Kyoto, very near to many temples, like famous Fushimi Inari & Kyiomizu or Gion shopping district.Good metro connection from the nearby Fukakusa station.Concenience store just across the street and many restaurants just along the street. Great hotel for all kind of tourists.

This hotel was not too convenient location-wise, as the ONLY bus only ran once an hour, the train was a 10 minute walk away (but ran every 10 minutes) and the subway was a 15 minute walk away. Its location added about 300 yen to daily expenses, plus an extra 30 minutes or so each way in commute time to get just about anywhere (most attractions are north […] of the Kyoto train station). The room was slightly larger than a hotel near the Kyoto train station where we stayed previously, which was appreciated. The staff were more helpful at Urban and had better English skills, too. The neighborhood was safe, and there were some good restaurants nearby. The laundry room on each floor was a great convenience. Note: since Japanese hotels charge by the person, not the room, it would have made sense to book two rooms and leave our suitcases in the second room. The rooms in Japan are THAT small. The hotel is near to the university so you can find everything easily. Cheap food, Drugs store. It's quite far from the subway station. Hotel seems to cater more to Japanese visitors rather than to Western visitors. Front desk has limited English-speaking personnel. Room TV has no English channel. There is no lobby to speak of to relax and to do some reading. Neon sign for hotel is not in English.

This hotel is a bit outside of the centre and its major attractions but it is still in a convenient location as you can get there from JR Fushimi Inari station (10 mins walk). It is walking distance to Fushimi Inari shrine, Toji (one of the best collections of buddhist statues) and the Zen gardens of Kofukuji. The hotel provides washcing machine at JPY200 for 30 minutes wash. The dryer is JPY100 for 30 minutes usage. There are vending machines at level 3 in the laundry room. They allow me to put my luggage as i arrived early and needed to rush to another town for a sightseeing trip.

This hotel is nearer by bus 105 from Kyoto JR station. Taxi ride from the station would cost around JPY1200. I had requested for non smoking room yet found the room is bad smell of smokes. The staffs are very polite. It sells the confectionary in the shape of Fox face (Fox is worshipped in Fushimi Inari) From Fushimi Inari station, walk straight through […] the long small road then passby a small bridge then turned to a junction. On the right side there is a small japanese bar. Cross the road to the petrol kiosk then walk straight. The hotel is opposite family mart (24 hours minimart). You could find "Rakuman" (tiny eateries in front of the train rails) to eat sweet grilled gyu-don which is popping hot in the middle of cold night. Fyi, I found Fushimi Inari is clean, newly renovated?, there is some cosntruction work at the moment, it is FREE. We could not found any "worthy" from this hotel.

The hotel was very affordable. It was clean. Conveniently they let us check-in early for a small extra fee for a much needed nap for our little one. The location is not ideal - it is useful to get an all-day pass for the city, because all the sights are rather spread-out and also some distance from the hotel.

For the low price, you get a small (typical Japanese business hotel) but super clean room with your own bathroom (bath tube and shower) Near many resturants (low and high price) including a Family Mart across the street). It is only two train stops from Kyoto. It is an eight minute walk if your young or 420yen cab ride if you don't want to walk. Takes about 6 min by cab because you have to go in the opposite direciton because it is one way in front of the train station. Hotel has a laundry which is a plus. The hotel was relatively easy to find as it was the only hotel around the area. Bedroom was very very small. And hotel was located in the neighborhood area. The hotel is not in the centre of Kyoto, as is probably obvious, but the surrounding area is still quite nice. Both Fusakusa and Inari train station are close by. After a 10-15 minute walk to Inari, which, depending on your route, can involve a very beautiful riverside jaunt, it's only a 5 minute trip to Kyoto station proper, which is covered by the […] JR pass should you have one. From there, the city can be explored either by foot or by the subway. Whilst you are indeed in urban Kyoto, you are by no means isolated from the city centre. The room itself is surprisingly large, considering both that it is after all a Japanese hotel and that it is quite cheap. The views are not spectacular, but the inside is quite comfortable and clean. The internet provided requires a device capable of plugging into a lan cable, which we did not have. The alternative is to utilise the internet downstairs in the lobby, which was plagued with a buggy and clunky interface. If you can, bring a laptop. The hotel is near a family mart as well as a petrol station. Very very small room, with very small bed, looks like a dungeon. Very small bathroom, located quite far from the main attractions in Kyoto, close to Inari shrine. Room smelled of something weird.

A very satisfactory hotel and value. A little hard to find due to signs, but fairly close to two different train lines and several good restaurants. Pleasant staff, very cooperative. Clean and quiet rooms. The standard bed is fine for one, but would be tight for two. Would recommend to anyone.

Room was small but clean and comfy. Hotel staff and adjoining Japanese restuarant were great! Only problem was that we were a little far out of central Kyoto then we had hoped, not the end of the world though. Also no wifi in hotel.

クルマだと駐車場(地面)があり、内宮、外宮参拝は楽です。

大阪より月に2回ぐらい京都営業所に行くときに使用をしていますが車で行きますので客先、営業所に近く便利です。只ビジネスホテルの考えでは少し料金設定が高めに 思います。

チェックインして部屋へ行き鍵を差してドアを開けようとしてもドアノブがビクともせずで開かない。部屋番号をチェックしても合ってるし何度試してもビクともしない。エレベーター近くにあった電話でスタッフに方を呼んで開けてもらったが、ドアの開け方が説明しないと分からない開け方だった。何事も始めが肝心なのにもうこの時点でサービスが悪いホテルという印象になってしまいました。「慣れ」ないで下さい。勿体無いと思います。

当ホテルはまったく防音しておらず、コインランドリーやエレベーターの音が異常に響き、2泊の宿泊料金を払ったが、途中棄権した。

従業員の愛想がよく、好印象でした。 部屋が多少狭いと感じましたが、特に不便な点はなく、快適に過ごさせて頂きました。 朝食も手頃な値段でいただくことができるので、出費を抑えたいという方には最適です。 立地場所が駅にもう少し近ければさらによいと思いました。

Cet hôtel est une bonne étape pour visiter le parc Inari. Situé dans le sud de Kyoto, à 10min. à pied de la station de train JR.

22日に女性１人で一泊しました。 一番近い最寄駅には京都駅から行くことが出来ないようで、疲れていたので迷った末にタクシーで向かいました。片道1200円前後でした。 フロントですが、私が行った時は男性の方が対応してくれたのですが、笑顔で対応いただき、なんだかほっとしました。外出する際や戻った時もすぐに対応してくれたのでとても嬉しかったです。 目の前にコンビニ(ファミマ)があるので便利なのですが、車通りが激しく横断歩道が少し遠いため、渡る時はちょっと危ないかなと感じました。 交通は少し不便ですが、スタッフの方の対応には満足しています。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。

場所は駅から遠いので重い荷物のある場合は京都駅からタクシーに乗ってしまったほうがいいかもしれないです。 ホテルの部屋はきれいに清掃されていて良かったです。向かいにコンビニがあります。 キャンペーン価格で安かったので十分満足しています。また利用するかもしれません。

最寄り駅からも、荷物を持って歩くには少し遠く、バスは時間帯にもよるかもしれないんですが、1時間に一本ほどだったので、タクシー移動になってしまい少し不便を感じました。 夜は真っ暗で少し治安が心配になりましたが、フロントの対応も良く、とても安く泊まれたのでその点は良かったです。

ホテルのすぐ前にコンビニがあってとても便利なのですが、昼間はそこそこ交通量の多い国道？なので、注意が必要です。最寄りの地下鉄駅までは歩いて15分ぐらいかかります。夜間はひっそりとしてゆっくり眠れました。

値段の安さが大満足 しかし、私が不満だったのは１０分１００円のネット使用料。 いまどきカプセルのほうが良心的です。

服务热情，会英语。房间虽小但是设施齐全，有免费的网络，速度也很快。就是网线接口可能不是太好，要插紧

今回通常の半額以下で利用できたため、満足です。

Das Hotel liegt nur 2 Stationen von Kyoto Hbf entfernt (zur Inari Station laufen, nicht von Fukakusa aus). Kosten nur 140Yen. Das Hotel liegt damit auch direkt neben einer der schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Japans: den tausenden roten Toori im Inari Schrein. Abgesehen davon ist die Nachbarschaft sehr grau und sterbenslangweilig. Größe der Zimmer: klein, […] aber Standard für jp Verhältnisse...und sauber. ホテルのスタッフの感じもとてもよく、金額も安く泊まれて満足です。周辺にお食事処もあり、（ホテルのレストランは残念ながら改装中でしたが・・・）お好み焼きやさんがおいしかったです。＾＾　コンビニもあり便利でした。 ただ、禁煙希望でしたが、喫煙室を当てられ、臭いが少しきつかったです。。

Das Hotel liegt nur 2 Bahnstationen von Kyoto-Bahnhof entfernt, also super Lage. (Ticket 140 Yen) Es ist alles sehr sauber im Hotel. Die Zimmer (semi-double room) sind zwar klein, aber fein :-) Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

L'hôtel est éloigné du centre sur un rue très passante. La chambre n'avait pas de vue. Le matelas n'était pas confortable et étroit.
