Very nice and modern hotel, placed in the southern part of Kyoto, very near to many temples, like famous Fushimi Inari & Kyiomizu or Gion shopping district.Good metro connection from the nearby Fukakusa station.Concenience store just across the street and many restaurants just along the street. Great hotel for all kind of tourists.

"Convenient location"
The hotel is a bit drab and regretted not booking breakfast in the price. The room is quite small and overlooks a very busy street but well located for the shops railway and subway. I was impressed they changed the linen daily.

"Convenient location to buses"
This hotel is on the major road - Shijo (4th Avenue), which means many city buses go by or very near the hotel. The bare minimal subway also goes under Shijo, although the stations are a few blocks away. My suggestion is to buy a One Day Bus Pass (500yen) and hop on the buses, including the Raku express buses (#100, 101 & 102) that go between major […] tourist attractions. The hotel itself is not great, our room (601) is very small, even by Japanese standard; it was more like an afterthought when they built the hotel. As with many other Japanese hotels, there is NO ventilation in the bathroom, and the shower curtain is a joke, so our bathroom floor is always flooded after each shower. The hotel also has no real air conditioning, the "air" button is only for heat, one speed. "Good location, lousy bathroom"
The hotel is at a good location, near to place of interest, lots of eating place nearby. However, the bathroom is pathetic, small, cruise cabin like. worst of all, sink and shower share one host.

The Shijo location wasn't too bad, but in Kyoto you're probably better off staying closer to the Gion area, where all the food and nightlife action is. Hotel doesn't appear to have been refurbed since the late 70's. Staff were polite. Bed was the single worst bed I have ever slept in. The wire in the mattress could be felt sticking through. "Good but nothing special"
Hotel room was ok, small but that is expected in Japan. Room interior was bit outdated, change the 80's bedcover already! Bed was still comfortable though. Hotel has bicycles for rent 500Y/day. You cannot reserve them, have to ask on the day itself. I had no issue getting one, and every time I came back the other 4 bikes they have were still standing […] there. There was nothing specifically bad with this hotel. The staff is nice and the room was clean but it's run down with old and faded decor. The location was also less than ideal. Although it's close to a train station, which is key, the neighborhood itself is kind of run down and nothing is going on there. It feels like more of an industrial part of town […] so other than the castle (who's name escapes me), we had to walk pretty far for any other sights. We came in the winter when it was snowing, though, so perhaps it would be more pleasant in the warmer weather. "Great value for money, and good location"
I was a little worried this hotel wouldn't be so great, because it as considerably cheaper than the hotels that had been offered as part of the conference I was attending. The size of room and double bed is adequate. The room is clean. We appreciated the deep bath tub for relaxing after a tiring touring day. It is at a walking distance from Kyoto Downtown , so very convenient for strolling to shps in the evening.

Très bon séjour, commodité à proximité, bus et métro proche a pied, facile d'accès.

雖然酒店整體不算新淨, 但房間空間較一般同級酒店寬敞, 亦十分整潔, 職員亦可應付簡單英語溝通, 所以值得推介。如果旅客是由大阪前往這間酒店, 乘阪急線往四条站西南出口步行十分鐘即到。

這次主要是新婚蜜月自助旅行 飯店必須說因為是商務型飯店加上我們是住semi double room，所以會比較小但是對我來說沒有差。住起來舒適、乾淨且服務也不錯!! 飯店的交通真的很方便(大優勢)，一出去就有公車站而且京都著名景點的公車都有經過，不需要再轉車到京都車站跟大家擠。要搭乘地鐵也只需要走5分鐘就可以到地鐵站，也是非常方便。 旅館附近吃的也很方便，有便利商店、生鮮超市、雜貨店、食堂、24H的連鎖餐飲店、24H咖啡廳，基本上早中晚餐都可以在附近吃。 對於喜歡逛街的人來說因為飯店位在四條街上，所以百貨公司也多，著名的錦市場也在附近，而且只需要搭1站公車或走個15分鐘的路就到了。 出去玩找飯店location真的很重要，Hotel Oaks Kyoto就有符合到我的需求，下次再去京都我 […] 依然會選擇它!! "便利な立地"
オークスは大通り沿いにわかりやすい看板があります。四条という便利な立地ながらお値打ちさが魅力です。ホテルのすぐ近くにコンビニがあります。駅までのんびり歩いても10分かからないくらいですし、四条自体が便利な駅なので、観光でもビジネスでも使えますね!!!!!また利用したいです。

"從酒店大門往右行，約十分鐘，有大型百貨商店和購物市場。"
酒店管理方面不錯，樂於助人，只可惜是英語水平不高。 從酒店門前左或右，約二分鐘路程，有往景點的巴士站。再多走四五分鐘，有鐵路站。交通非常方便。 附近飯店多選擇，有一店提供“白飯放題”，消費合理。 下次往京都，此酒店是首選。

"親切でした！ホテルオークス京都四条"
ホテルの雰囲気は正直、新しいとは言えない少しレトロな感じでした。 今回ツインの部屋でお願いしていたのですが、広いお部屋をご用意しました。とフロントの方に言われ、行ってみたら、想像以上に広い部屋に変更していただいておりました。 ツインのベッドに加えて、ゆったりできる広さのソファーもあり、快適に過ごさせていただきました。

飯店還算舒適，我們帶了一個近四歲的小孩睡雙單床也不會太擁擠，唯一缺點是離地鐵有三個紅綠燈(也許對背包客來說算近的了)，但對拖著大行李及小孩的我們，遠了一點>"<，不過整體來說，服務及酒店外觀、內部的舒適度我們還是很推薦，附近也有24小時的餐館，對面更有fesco超市哦!

酒店不在最旺的地方，但交通十分方便，地鐵、阪急都在附近，房間面積比想像中大，值得一提是房間及大堂有免費WIFI，對旅客來講是一種很好的服務。

"교토의 관광명소와 가까운 위치"
가격도 저렴하고, 무엇보다 호텔의 청결과 직원들의 서비스가 좋았습니다. 다음에도 교토에 간다면 묵고 싶을 정도로 만족하였습니다. 기온거리와도 가깝고 청수사도 몇10분이내 도착할 정도로 위치도 좋았습니다.

여러 후기들을 읽고 한참 고민을 하다 예약을 했었는데 고민은 괜한...걱정이였어요. 우선, 위치가 정말 좋았어요! 기온이든 기요미즈데라, 교토역까지 한번에 가는 버스도 많았고 (정류장도 가깝고) 바로 앞에 작지만 알찬 마트도 있고 (오후 11시~12시까지 영업했었어요) 무엇보다 호텔 직원의 서비스!! 영어도 잘 알아듣고, 길물어보면 언제나 친절하게~ 또 방도 생각보다 컸어요.(일본의 호텔은 거의 작으니까 기대 안해요) 저는 가격 대비 최고의 만족이었어요. 다음에도 이곳에 지낼겁니다.
