Położenie blisko Watford Junction sprawia, że tylko dwie minuty zajmuje spacer, po którym możemy być już w pociągu jadącym do Londynu, pod warunkiem że korzystamy z serwisu Midline, bo London Overground to już dłuższa bajka, ale szybki pociąg pozwoli być w London Euston za 20 minut i pociągi kursują dość często. Jedynym minusem hotelu było u nas mało urozmaicone śniadanie, a właściwie wciąż to samo menu, które przy trzecim posiłku nieco nam zmierzło - kto w PL je fasolkę na śniadanie? Podsumowując obiekt spełnia kryteria przedstawione w ofercie i jesteśmy zadowoleni.

pokój mały ale czysty. poprosiliśmy o dwa oddzielne łóżka i obsługa bez problemu to zorganizowała (z w zasadzie to i tak był dwa łóżka które można było zsunąć lub spać na rozsuniętych. Osobiście myślałem, że hotel będzie bliżej lotniska i trochę zaskoczyło nas, że dodatkowo trzeba płacić za transport do/z hotelu: 3 GBP od osoby od strony. Dla dwóch osób daje to dodatkowo 12GBP. Być może warto było wziąć taxi.

"Better than expected"
I thought it would be really bad after reading some reviews ,but it was not. friendly staff and very affordable prices.
"Good inexpensive weekend in London"
Basic rooms, which are clean and there is access to a kitchen. bathroom down corridor. eNighbour hood not good, but area is quiet and only 10 mins from Elephant and Castle. Must take Bus 343 from the Elephant and Castle. Get off at the stop after city road, as bus stop near the hotel. This route is safe and regular buses.. "A place to rest your head"
Clean hotel, friendly staff. The location is about 1 mi walk from the tube (or there is a bus stop right out front). All the beds squeak at the slightest movements, and can be heard from down the hall and in other rooms. Comfy beds if you don't mind the squeaks!

keep in mind this hotel is really low price so we didn't expect the ritz. we were prepared for not very good:) nice, and helpful management and crew. excellent room was clean , drinks were cheap, nice locals but alittle low class so act poor:) shady neighborhood but fine in dayliight, and bus 42 i think it was goes to train station in like 10 minutes […] or less time. than easy to take train everywhere. had outer steel door that locked to outside also so that made us feel more safe. we did hang out with locals 3 nights in a row and had fun down at the bar i will say, they are a happy go lucky crowd and the manager is right there. bascly it was super cheap compared to all the other hotels and was close in. we liked it alot and had a great stay. "Hotel Hour Glass Hotel Londra - Tristezza"
Pessima esperienza. L'hotel dista almeno 15 minuti dalla fermata di Elephant & Castle, con le valigie è deleterio. Ovviamente la reception ha degli orari assurdi. Se arrivi troppo presto devi aspettare che sia aperta, se arrivi troppo tardi devi pagare. Ho lasciato un biglietto ad una delle receptionist... Chiedendole se era possibile rimanere per […] qualche altra notte, dato che la sua collega mi aveva detto di no, ma sul sito risultavano altre camere libere. Non mi ha nemmeno contattata, ne con un biglietto in camera, ne con una telefonata. Le camere hanno la moquette irregolare. Il letto cigola. "For nice cheap holiday"
We didn't expect so much from accommodation - just a private bed and a shower and HGH was perfect for that. It wasn't for long staying, because room what we had, was too small - but for exploring London holiday was nice (it's easy to reach city centre by foot and it takes ca. 40 minutes, by city bike 15 minutes). HGM hotel is more like hostel - there […] is kitchen with all equipment and washing machine, in the room was private fridge. But house is old and inside you hear everything. We were there in the middle of October and night temperature was around 5°C, but heating didn't work, in our room was too cold (should be better blankets). And in our room was quite a lot of dust. "Ok hotel men i det forkerte område"
Fin hjælp og service fra personalet, men meget fattigt område hvor der er farligt at gå ude om aften. Det kan kun anbefales at tage busen direkte til hotellet fra undergrundsstationen. Vi snakkede med lokale der selv holdt sig indendøre om aften og væk fra de små veje i området pga. faren for overfald. Negativ: Zimmer sehr klein, 1 Badezimmer pro Etage, Knarrende Dielen, in der Nacht recht laut und einschüchternde Umgebung. Kein Taxifahrer scheint das Hotel zu kennen. Positiv: Sehr sehr netter Hotelier (der auch gleichzeitig den Pub betreut). Guter Pub. Recht Zentrumnah (10 Minuten per Bus)

Det tog ca 20 minuter att gå från tunnelbanestationen Kenninton till hotellet, helt okej avstånd. Området som hotellet ligger i är ett bostadsområde så det finns inga butiker. Närmaste butik/restaurang låg ca 10 minuter därifrån. Hade inte jättehöga förväntningar på hotellet eftersom jag har läst recensioner om hotellet där det fått ganska dåligt […] betyg. Men jag tyckte att det var ett trevligt hotell. Och när jag sover på hotellet är jag där för att sova, inte spendera tid i hotellrummet. Så för ändamålet sova så tyckte jag hotellet var helt okej. Det enda som går att påpeka är väl att det är ganska lyhört och att det inte finns någon toalett/dusch i rummet, utan det är gemensamt. Peronalen var trevlig och hjälpsamma när jag frågade efter en taxi. Vill man ha taxi tidigt på morgonen måste man tänka på att beställa taxi dagen innan eftersom receptionen till hotellet är en pub, och dom har inte öppet på morgonen. Bussar stannar i princip precis utanför hotellet så om man vill åka buss är det jättebra bussförbindelser. Jag skulle gärna boka detta hotell igen om jag kommer till London fler gånger. Då det var ett bekvämt rum för att sova i och trevlig personal och det var rätt så billigt. En kudde och en säng så är jag nöjd! Verkehrsverbindung: ca. 25 Minuten von der City mit dem Bus, somit einigermassen verkehrsgünstig. Das Hotel entspricht im Standard eher einem Hostel. Es gibt ein Etagenbad/Toilette. Im Zimmer gibt es nur ein Waschbecken. Sauber ist es und für eine Nacht war für mich auch der Komfort ausreichend. Die Gegend ist sehr multikulturell Die Rezeptionistin […] war sehr freundlich. The Connection to the city is about 25 minutes with the bus. So far it’s reasonable accessible. The hotel standard is more like a Hostel. There is a Bathroom/Toilette for each floor.
