Frogner House Apartment - Arbinsgate 3 - Oslo

Absolutely perfect base for our family stay in Oslo. Nice clean rooms with basic facilities for cooking (essential for a family in Oslo as eating out every day is so expensive). Easy access to tram and T-bane for longer trips. Highlight of the trip was Korketrekkeren (2.5k toboggan run) from Frognersteren Station. Highly recommended.

Having booked to stay specifically at the Arbinsgate location of Frogner House Apartments in order to be near to my customer staying in a nearby hotel, I was sometime disappointed to find that during my flight from UK to Oslo, Frogner had changed my booking to their other location at Skovveien. Although this had a tram connection, it was nowhere near […] a Metro train station. The room was very well appointed, having been very recently refurbished to a high standard, and with a good view of the street corner from the panoramic windows. However, the electrical design of the apartment left a lot to be desired. There was a complete lack of adequate mains sockets. In the kitchenette area, the only socket was underneath the overhead cupboard, rather than on the wall above the work surface. The kettle lead was no where near long enough with the result that it had to be plugged in by the toilet. There was a socket in the lounge area, but this was only rated for lights not as a power socket, but the signage was unclear, so the circuit breaker tripped when trying to use this for the kettle. Goodness knows how you were meant to use the toaster and the coffe machine without proper power sockets. This apartment needs rewiring to make it habitable for anything other than a few days. Apartment was exactly as advertised , clean, in a good location. the additon of a toaster and microwave oven would have been appreciated.

Great location for getting around Oslo. We were there for a week. Comfortable good sized apartment. We had our 4 year old son with us and it was fine with him there also. Very helpful and nice people working at hotel. A very quiet street most of the time. This hotel or rather should I say apartment is great! Not only was a clean, it had a kitchen and comfortable beds! It is also in a greta location! My family and I would definitely stay there again!

The Frogner House Appartments at Arbinsgate 3 are at the perfect location. The apartments are clean, tidy and well equiped. One small issue is the reception is at another location but the cleaning staff at Arbinsgate 3 are very helpful. Would totally recommend. Useful also to have a cook in option with the crazy prices in Oslo!

OK "appartment" with 2 separate bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Super location.but a losed door and bad routines for welcoming customers isn;t doing it for me.

I stayed here with three friends while on holiday in Oslo & can't recommend it highly enough! It was warm, very modern and clean, had good facilities and was in a very convenient and safe location. There were very good restaurants and a convnience store close by and the city centre is within easy walking distance. We wantd to extand our stay and this […] was no problem. Only recommendation was adding more hangers or hooks to hang items - there were four of us in the apartment and didn't have enough hooks for wet towels, etc. Overall, happy with our stay there.

This was the perfect place to stay in Oslo. Just there for the weekend with friends and it was safe, clean and bright. Aparment was enough off the main street to be quiet. Like the other reviews - pick up the keys at the 7-11, but otherwise everything was in order. Close to the subway, close to old town, and close to all the tourist spots. The hotel is very well located (easly can go by foot to central bus station, mais park, sea etc), clean, good bathroom (but wasn't any toilette paper, we had to buy it) and I really recomend. Hotel Staff is very helpful and professional.

This is a great place to stay. Very clean and a good location for downtown Oslo with the main drag in walking distance. Loads of room as its an appartment rather than a hotel room with its own kitchen and lounge. My only issue was that there is no reception. On arrival I hadn't a clue how to get in and my Paperwork from Hotels.com didn't seem to tell […] me either. the room was very clean and every thing was great. there was no outside noise at all which seemed very strange as it was in the middle of Oslo. The laundry features were very good also. Thank you . traveler from Los Lunas. New Mexico USA

L' appartamento è stato ristrutturato da poco. Pulito e in zona tranquilla, ma molto comoda per il centro e i mezzi pubblici (treni e bus), che si possono raggiungere a piedi in 5 minuti. Giudizo globale: molto soddisfacente per rapporto qualità prezzo.

Un'ottima sistemazione a buon prezzo nel centro di Oslo. Perfetta per una famiglia: è possibile farsi da mangiare e limitare i costi dei ristoranti.

Frogner House Apartment de Oslo: ubicado en zona tranquila al lado de un parque. Las habitaciones interiores de la planta baja son peores que las del primer piso que dan al exterior .

Leilighetene er rene og i god stand. Beliggenhet er veldig sentral. Anbefales!

Sehr gutes Appartementhotel in zentraler Lage. Ideal für Selbstversorger, Supermarkt und 7eleven in der Nähe. Bei der Ausstattung fehlt nur ein Backofen bzw. Grill. Leider ist das Parken mit dem Auto recht teuer, aber vor der Tür immer möglich.

Godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Meget sentral beliggenhet, hyggelig betjening og god standard på rom og godt utstyrt kjøkkendel. Rimelig leiepris ( som vel bl.a. også har årsak i at iklimaanlegg ikke er installert..)

Wir haben drei Tage mit unseren Kindern in einem Apartment gewohnt, leider zum sehr lauten Hinterhof. Die Betten sind unbequem, die Räume, auch das Bad, schlecht zu belüften. Treppenhaus und Eingang sind renovierungsbedürftig. Bis auf die Lage, nahe zum Schloss und zum Rathaus spricht nichts für diese Unterkunft. Die Angaben von hotels.com sind nicht […] alle zutreffend. An Wochentagen kann man einen PKW nur für max. 2 Stunden vor dem Hotel parken, eine Garage oder einen Stellplatz gibt es nicht. Für Fahrräder gibt es keine Unterstellmöglichkeit. Przeczytaj więcej

Sentralt, flott leilighet. God hotellservice sjølv om ikkje hotellet har resepsjon i Arbinsgate. Kom raskt med nøkkel m.m. etter henvendelse. Kan absolutt anbefalast om ein skal overnatte sentralt i Oslo. Mvh. Familie frå Ørsta :)

God løsning for familier. Glimrende beliggenhet, ingen trafikkstøy, rent og pent.

Wir hatten mit unseren 3 Kleinkindern ein 2 Zimmer Ap. gebucht, ich und mein Mann, haben im Wohnzimmer geschlafen, und die Kinder im Schlafzimmer (1 Babybett haben wir extra bestellt) trotz der kleinen Räumlichkeiten hat alles wunderbar geklappt, eine Spielkiste/box hatte es leider für die Kinder nicht gehabt. Die Lage war sehr gut, wir konnten zu Fuss […] direkt zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten laufen. Wichtig zu wissen: Es ist kein Service Personal im Haus, für die Schlüsselübergabe mussten wir per Telefon vorher was ausmachen, für die Abgabe ist ein Schlüsselkasten vorhanden. Przeczytaj więcej

The hotel was unexpensive, and expect no more than that: it is somehow old, the room has the bare minimum but not bad at all. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was alright. It seems that most hotels in Odense are around the station, on a very busy street. So ask for a room in the back if you want it to be quiet. Fin leilighet. Vi bodde 4 stk, to på soverom og to på dobbel sovesofa. Det funket fint, ikke for trangt! Rimelig i pris, god standar, sentralt og bedre plass enn på et hotellrom! Anbefales!!

Nylig renovert,rent og pent. Flott delikat flislagt bad. Nytt kjøkken og utstyr. Et minus med kjøkkenutstyret var stekepannen. Den er av det kjipeste slaget. Ikke flat under, slik at steking blir problematisk. Det er ikke oppvaskmaskin på kjøkkenet, det hadde vært å foretrekke. Très bel appartement, très bien situé, propre et calme; seul bémol: il n'y a pas de parking et très peu de possibilité de se garer dans les environs

Très bien... une fois que l'on a récupéré les clés. Pour avoir les clés il faut : . discuter avec un résidant de l'hôtel où l'on est censé récupérer les clés (attendre que l'un sorte, car cet hôtel est fermé même aux heures où il devrait être ouvert) . puis, aller dans un café pour téléphoner . café où l'on vous oriente vers un 7-eleven. . 7-eleven […] qui vous réoriente vers un autre 7-eleven qui se trouve près de votre hôtel (celui où est votre chambre). . Et là vous obtenez enfin les clés. Sinon on n'a vu absolument personne de l'hôtel. Pour le reste c'était OK, si ce n'est le bruit nocturne. Przeczytaj więcej

Hotellet har meget bra beliggenhet: Meget kort gangavstand fra: Slottet, kinoer, Aker Brygge, Karl Johan m.m.! Perfekt for oss som liker å bo rimelig og klare oss selv. Flott, smakfullt innredd leilighet, vår hadde 2 rom og bad. Eneste minus er at det ikke ble opplyst ved bestilling at nøkkel til ytterdør og leiligheten måtte hentes på 7-eleven rundt […] hjørnet, så vi var en liten stund i villrede. (hotellet ikke har resepsjon). Men det kan jo være fordi vi bestillte under en uke før ankomst, og at vi ellers ville fått nøkkelen i posten. Totalt sett er vi meget fornøyd! Przeczytaj więcej

Très bien le seul problème a été pour nous la remise des clefs . Rien d'inscrit sur la porte de l'hotel. Nous avons du attendre qu'un des clients de l'hotel passe pour lui demander comment récupérer les clefs.

Very nice apartment hotel with very nice, modern, big and clean room. Free and working high speed WI-FI. Excellent location, close to Aker Brygge, Karl Johan and everything. Only drawback is "random" reception and the fact that the windows are very old in the hotel causes all noise from adjacent streets (the tram line too) to be heard quite well.
