The hosts were great! They advised us where to go and the must sees. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. The hot tub was a great alternative to the hot springs (since it the hot springs was closed while we were there). "Great innkeepers make all the difference"
We were only able to stay one night, but that one night was fantastic. The room was wonderful and romantic. The full breakfast was great - Hans' muffin-making reputation is well earned. After we checked out, we realized that we had forgotten to charge a cellphone and went back just hoping to be able to charge it and wait in the living room. "We'll Definately Be Back!!!"
Hanz & Ingred went out of their way to provide a over the top B & B experience. The hot tub and mimosas were amazing & the breakfast to die for. Our room nice nice, clean and cozy. We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. We can't wait to go back, only this time were bringing friends!

what a delightful find! The owners are an eager young Dutch-American couple who are impeccable hosts. Hans is the chef, and excellent. One would not expect such a luxurious inn in the Colorado mountains, in the old mining town which has been rumored to be the fictional site of John Galt's town in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.

This is a wonderful b&b- close to the center of Ouray (about 1/2 block away if you go down the alley.) The hosts were very, very nice and helpful. Our bedroom was lovely with old fashioned furniture and a comfortable bed. The common areas were also nicely furnished and comfortable. The inn has a large hot tub in a pleasant patio area in the back. We […] could see the mountains from the landing outside our room! There were treats and coffee, tea and chocolate available from the time we arrived to the time we left. The breakfast was delicious with hot and cold selections. We had tasty steak and lamb chops for our evening meal at The Outlaw Restaurant about a block away on Main Street while serenaded by a very good piano player. She must have practiced a lot! Loved this place! Would definitely come back. Although would probably request the room that is not right behind the reception desk since there wasn't really any sound separation between the two. Otherwise great hosts, great food, great location! Loved Ouray!

This B & B is two blocks away from the main street and is a great place to stay. It is really clean, and the rooms are good sized and wonderfully furnished. The host, Hans, is an incredible cook and his breakfasts were fantastic--especially his homemade muffins. He was very accommodating and helpful as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the China Clipper was a top highlight of a two week vacation. Our hosts were gracious, informative and extremely efficient as B&B owners/managers. The town and surrounding mountains offer a lot of fun and beautiful activities and The China Clipper is the most beautiful place to stay while in Ouray. We highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time at the Inn. Hans, the owner, was very friendly. The daily breakfast was exceptional as Hans is a Chef. The room was very cozy. The Inn was within walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay at the China Clipper Inn again next year!

A wonderful, Victorian style bed and breakfast efficiently run by a charming, young Dutch couple. Large well furnished room with comfortable bed, and good hot breakfast in the morning. In a quiet location a block off the main drag. A bit pricier than a normal b&b but well worth the money. Would stay here again.
Property was in perfect shape and the host and hostess were awesome.
This was a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend to anyone who wanted to get away for a relaxing time.

"B&B in Ouray, Colorado"
Very nice B&B, the young couple that run this B&B are very friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Facility is only 15 years old an is in very god condition, decorated very nicely. Great location, walk to main street and restaurants, shops, etc. No kids or pets. We'll visit again!

Great B&B with an old world feel even though this 'old home' was built in 1995. Cozy/comfy ambiance, an awesome view from the front porch and wonderful 'plate yourself'' breakfast. Wonderful recommendations for dinner; great experience overall. We are looking forward to a return stay for a longer amount of time.

Zeer sfeervolle B&B met aardige, behulpzame eigenaren, heerlijk ontbijt en prachtige omgeving. Voormail mijnstadje Ouray perfect als uitvalsbasis om Mount Sneffels te beklimmen. Komen er graag nog eens terug!
