Great service the first night! Shuttle driver took us through a drive-thru to get dinner as it was late and nothing else was open. As others have commented, the heating/air unit is VERY loud....you have to adjust the TV volume when it cycles on, and it will wake you if you are a light sleeper. We were in our room until about 10:45 am the next day and […] didn't return until midnight. When we got back, our room had never been cleaned!!! The person on the front desk that night barely apologized....housekeepers were around until 4 or later, but no one came back around to clean. location is convenient to the airport, but that's about it. Houston was our layover between Costa Rica and Boston. Spring Hill Suites had prompt minivan shuttle service in both directions, pleasant drivers, pleasant reception and bar staff. Room was clean, modern and comfortable, with soothing, updated decor. Everything worked. On-site food service available -- not extensive, but enough choices to satisfy hunger […] before settling in to sleep to catch a morning flight back home. Booked this hotel for my wedding night for a special evening, at our wedding we were told my new wife's brother passed. I called to hotel the next morning to ask for a night’s stay at a future date. They refused and told me I should have called when I found out. To make it worse, the manger was very condescending. I would not EVER recommend this hotel, […] or chain to anyone. They lack empathy! This hotel has "new" written all over it. Nice accomodations - the room was huge! Probably one of the nicer hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff could have been friendlier and more helpful, they weren't horrible, but not great. Also, they serve a full breakfast and they say they serve dinner but the food is horrible - seriously bad. There is a […] bar which is functional, but it's in the same area as the where the breakfast bar is. Basically the room is the best part of this hotel, the room is worth the stay and for the price you can't beat it. Awesome airport hotel, convenience shuttle, BEST and friendliest customer service, nice rooms - new and clean, nicer than expected! Breakfast available for people catching early flights. Highly recommended for a layover in Houston!

I booked this hotel for our stay when arriving in Houston, but hesitated to book for the night before our return home, because of a few reviews. Once we stayed here, there was no hesitation to book it for our return! Only problem, was the delay cost me more $$. Lesson learned. The rooms are a bit different and my in-laws weren't impressed at first, […] because the bathroom (toilet) and shower were seperate rooms, but it actually worked out great for 4 adults sharing. There was a large sofa and a desk area, micro, frig and single cup coffee pot. The beds were amazingly comfortable and each bed had 6 or 7 pillows on them, so you had your choice of which pillow worked for you!! Everything was very clean, the bar, limited menu restaurant were a nice touch. (Chicken Quesadilla was yummy!) Breakfast was you usual with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and juices. Coffee was available 24 hrs. The front desk staff was exceptional! As was the shuttle driver and doorman! Couldn't have asked for a better stay especially close to the airport (IAH), very quiet and comfortable and super easy access to the airport whether you are taking the shuttle or have a rental car. Stayed here after flying in, before heading to San Antonio the next morning. I read the reviews first, but I have no idea what people were complaining about. The staff was amazing!! Exceptionally friendly and accomodating! They were so friendly that the doorman actually tried to refuse a tip!! The only thing that was a bit different was the bathroom/shower […] set-up, they were seperate rooms,which was unusual but worked wonderful for a room of 4 adults. It may have been because we had an "accessible" room, not sure if all rooms are this way, but it works! We plan to stay here again the night before our departure home! Great place to layover. Super convenient room. Great service. Better food needed.

I arrived at the hotel in less than 5 minutes from the airport. The room was spacious and had a minibar, sofa, livingroom area and a large king size bed. With a seperate water closet and shower area, this is great if more than one person is travelling-the whole privacy issue etc.. Checked in and headed to the bar for a nightcap! The next morning, a great selection of breakfast items were made available before heading off to the airport in the free hotel shuttle! My family had a overnight layover in Houston. We arrived about 8 pm. The hotel shuttle picked us up from the airport within 10 minutes which was great since we were traveling with a very tired toddler. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. Except for the food this is the best hotel I have ever been to.

This hotel has an airport shuttle, providing convenience when staying overnight to catch a flight the following morning. All of the staff is friendly and the shuttle drivers aren't too demanding of tips. (At other hotels, I have come across drivers that hinted toward tips excessively, even going as far as to quote how much a taxi would cost.) The hotel […] was renovated and very nice. The rooms are very spacious. I did not try the food in the lounge but was slightly disappointed that a full restaurant was not present. I was also disappointed that the hotel does not run a shuttle to other locations like Wal-mart or nearby restaurants. Many hotels in Houston do provide this service for their guests. As Houston is a driving culture, there is nothing within walking distance and sidewalks are unkempt. Overall, the stay was pleasant. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I were to rent a car. This hotel has been recently renovated and looks amazing! I had a king suite and it was perfect. Bed was very comfortable and shower had great pressure.

Very convenient to IAH. Newer hotel and everything is sharp. People were very nice and helpful. I wanted to return a rental car the night before my flight, and they graciously picked me up from the car rental facility.

This hotel was very clean and modern, and while not located directly at the airport, they have a free shuttle service that runs every half hour 24/7. They also don't have an onsite restaurant, but they offer shuttle service to a few surrounding hotels that do offer dining options or there are a few places within walking distance. New hotel, staff were friendly, will lighted parking areas. No nice places to eat anywhere close, no shampoo in shower, there is no tub if you like to take a bath, airplanes are kind of noisy.Room was very clean.

The people who work at this hotel are very friendly an dsolicitous. Although we were only there for an overnight before continuing on to another flight, we felt very at home. If we were to return to Houston, we would definitely stay there again.

It was amazing how clean and friendly the staff was, will definetly use you again in the near future.

Perfect hotel and location near the airport with excellent buffet breakfast.

breakfast was great, the room is the cleanest ever seen in recent times...i stay Hilton and regular Marriott, but this SpringHill suite at the Houston Inter Airport changed my perception and will look out for SpringHill suites anywhere i go first , as it will be my priority over any other hotel Enjoyable Stay

Overall I have a positive impression of this hotel. The proximity to the airport is good and bad. It's great for a layover, but you do hear some jet noise in the hotel.

Nice hotel and conveniently located next to the airport. But, spent one restless night being chased around my room by giant flying crickets. I understand they are a local nuisance, but I still don't expect them to fill my hotel room. The manager was great about moving me to another room, but next time I'm in Houston I'll be staying somewhere else.

Couldn't be better. Very clean and spacious with a fabulous team of staff. If you're lucky enough to get Howard as your shuttle driver, look out. That man's voice will melt your shoes.

the hotel was clean, service personnel very friendly and the rooms spacious. Airport and freeways were close by. Downtown is about 16 miles away, but by car it took no more than 20 minutes off-peak hours. Surrounding areas had several fast food restaurants like Churches Chicken and Taco bell. The location of this hotel to the airport is great. We stayed on an overnight layover and were very satisfied with the check in process as well as the freindliness of the staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is very good. We'd stay here again if the need arose.

We stayed at Springhill Suites on our way to and from a dive vacation since we had to overnight in Houston. We enjoyed the location, close to the airport and the staff were friendly and professional on each occasion. The breakfast offered was substantial and a great way to start off a full day of travel. This is only my second stay in a SpringHill suites hotel, but it's clear that they've hired an excellent staff in both locations. The hotels seem new and comfortable with an easy price point..but the friendliness of the staff is really what stands out.

I stayed one night at this hotel while I waited for a colleague to join me the following day. The staff were all very professional and attentive but also very friendly. The room I stayed in was modern, fresh and immaculately clean. I would have no reservations in recommending this hotel to other people.

Check in was very pleasent shuttle driver very nice man helped with the bags even offered to take them to the room for us. Room: Modern, clean, comfortable living area and office, quick Internet (both in assess and communication), and a bed that was like finely cooked pasta (tender on the surface and firm where you need the support). We had to stay overnight before the morning flight to Mexico vacation. Very clean and testefuly furnished room. Comfortable bed. Nice continental breakfast. Friendly staff. I could not wish for better experience and I am very picky. The room in Mexico resort was disappointing contrast.

Hotel was not even a year old. It is very contemporary and great breakfast. Highly recommend!
