"Okay...but"
We came to check in at 8pm, had this room reserved for weeks, and was told that there was not a clean room for us. So we had to wait approx. 30 minutes for them to clean the room. They gave the four of us free breakfast for the next morning. It was fine, just a little annoying, didn't understand how there wasn't a room ready for us. "Relaxing"
Nice, friendly hotel. Stayed there for two nights on two different occasions. Convenient location to get to the mall, restaurants, and Mohegan Sun. Walking distance to a Starbucks which is a plus. The only issue we had was our toilet running and we had to jiggle the handle. Otherwise i would definitely stay there again.
Hotel was excellent, we stayed there to see a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena which was within walking distance. Very clean, with a small lounge and breakfast area. Our only issue was that we were supposed to have an adjoining room with two queen beds. Our rooms were next to each other but no pass through door way and each room had only one king bed. "Great Location"
This was a last minute trip for a family funeral and most the hotels in the area seemed to be booked. The price here seemed a little high for the area, but once we checked in and realized how nice the hotel is, plus the room comes with a refrigerator and microwave, it was well worth it! This hotel was convenient to many things. It was clean with very friendly and helpful staff. We actually talked about scheduling another weekend here while still checked in.
"Conveniently located"
My husband and I came in from the Philly area to see a WBS Penguins hockey game. This hotel was perfect bexlcause the arena was right across the street. Plus it was conveniently located near several places to eat, including the mall.

"Pleasantly surprised"
This is a nice hotel. After an all day hike it was nice to come back to a very comfortable bed. This hotel is conveniently located off I81 with a number of places to shop and eat within walking distance. We will come back again.

The quality of service was excellent. The front desk employees, the rest of the staff was great. While the hotel lobby was beautiful, the rest of the hotel needs to be renovated. "Hilton Gardens, Wilkes-Barre"
We were very pleased with our stay at the Hilton Gardens in Wilkes-Barre. The Hotel had all the accomadations you would find at any upper end hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant. The coffee, tea and cookies were complimentary! We will stay again.

This property is well maintained, in close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Mohegan Sun Arena is less than a mile away, so a great place to stay for events at that venue. Rates are reasonable, and value for the price. Room furnishings are updated and above average in quality. "Nice, but area is strip malls, and the pool?!"
I have stayed in Hilton Garden Inns before, and they tend to run a little pricey for the hotel class, but they also tend to be a little nicer than other hotels in their class. The Hilton Garden Inn Wilkes-Barre is nice, but doesn't meet the usual Hilton Garden Inn standards. It has a lovely lobby, beautifully decorated for the holidays. The room was […] clean and comfortable, as usual for Hilton Garden Inn. The tub, though, had chipped paint, which made it look dirty. This is a small thing, not a big deal, but the pool was even more chipped, and looking quite dirty. There seemed to be a brown film or discoloration across the bottom of the pool, and one of the filters on the pool bottom was missing. I went in the pool, but thought better of it and got out, as I have gotten ill from a dirty pool before. I stay in hotels like Hilton Garden Inn frequently enough, and the pools are usually spotless. Not this one. The area, as well, is convenient to big-box stores and chain restaurants, but otherwise is a confusing warren of streets - my wife and I got lost more than once trying to drive in and out of the immediate area. We chalked it up to confusing Pennsylvania infrastructure, but still ... Other than those issues, the hotel was very nice, as was the staff. "holiday inn phily ne bensalem, PA"
i paid for 2 rooms for 2 days. we requested a crib and a roll away bed. it was a good thing that we requested the roll away bed. we were told that all the rooms with a king size bed had a pull out couch. when we went to you the pull out couch we discovered that the framing was broken. it was a good thing that we had the roll away for my grandchild. […] this ment that my daughter and son in law had to have the 2 children in there room instead of us having one and them having one. the toilet seat cover cover had a crack in it. the caulking around the bathroom tub was blacken in several spots in both rooms. poor house cleaning over the years. if you have no elevator, you should tell people before thay arrive and have to walk up to the second floor. if i knew this we might not have stayed inyour hotel. "Disappointing"
The hotel grounds and lobby were all very nice, however the room was dirty and very outdated. We had ants coming out from underneath the carpet and the carpet felt and looked unclean. I'm sure that the hotel staff would have moved us, however I did not want to be moved as it was after 10 pm and my infant was already sound asleep, I just wish there had […] not been any ants at all. This hotel was very nice and was an extremely convenient location. It is right off the highway and surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. It was well worth the money spent.

We took a 2 queen beds room, but one mattress was defective. All other things were excellent.

The Hilton Gardern Inn was clean and comforable. Decent room size, comfortable desk chair, good bed. It is located in the midst of the commercial development around the Mohegan Sun Arena. The only downside was that the breakfast was buffet only, so that you want something simple (a bagel, perhaps?) you end up laying $10.95. The room was very clean. Location was great - walking distance of restaurants and a shopping center. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.

Clean and very spacious rooms. Were delighted with room and service. Only slight annoyance was the wedding reception in the lobby was a bit crazy and had to go through it several times to bring in luggage. Would highly recommend this facility.

I would definitely recommend this hotel...the hotel was very clean and the staff was very accommodating! They had high speed internet in you room and provided 2 additional computers in the lobby...complimentry chocochip cookies in the lobby...complimentry breakfast and the heat worked very well in my room.
