The air conditioning didn't work . The same about computers at the reception. I haven't received yet the invoice for a car I rented one day. A complete disaster.

This hotel was overpriced and in really bad condition, having stayed in other hotels in both Zanzibar and northern Tanzania I expected something better for the price we paid. Not to mention that despite that our booking confirmation said that all taxes and fees were fully paid, the hotel charged us an extra either governmental or hotel tax (no one was […] abel to clarify what we were paying) upon check-in. They also charge for wi-fi that is suppose to work in the entire hotel. Unfortunately, this didn't apply to our room on the 7th floor. DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! "Holiday Inn DSM - Beware of incorrect billing"
Avoid this Hotel. This hotel management tries to get extra payments by claiming extra service charges as for local taxes despite the room have been paid in full thru Hotels.com Europe. On top they at departure also may claim a non agreed 50 percent extra payment for the service having allowed an early Check-in! In conclusion - avoid this hotel.

Only use this hotel if this is the last choice you got, we stayed here twice because we booked it online without doing much of a research. "Overpriced"
Like most of hotels in Tanzania, it is overpriced as there are always details that doesn't match the quality required. The only positiv point is cleanness. Don't buy any spa treatment. The girls don't know anything about massage! The restaurant at the ground floor has poor choice and the quality of the food is low.

My last night in Tanzania and wanted real comfort Western style prior to having to get up real early for my flight home. Chose this hotel and wasn't dissappointed! Really helpful staff from the moment I set foot in the hotel until I left. Room was great; really roomy, great big comfy bed, nice hot shower. TV had this really bright blue on-standy light […] which was really intense. Luckily my pillow had this band wrap thing that I was able to drape over the TV and light to give me complete darkness. Even though this hotel is one of the better once, you will be amazed about how the condition is on the rooms after just a few years.. Spent one night at this hotel on my way to Arusha. The quality of the Hotel was better than expected. There was a rooftop restaurant and bar which added to the attraction of this hotel. it's not a bad hotel as the rooms are well appointed and clean. However, the little things make you never want to return. Wifi access is ridiculously expensive %~$14 p/day and so is laundry service $18 for a few pairs of socks, two t-shirts, underwear and a pair for shorts... seriously. The service is good, but a bit rule bent and that can be annoying […] when you just want to relax. 8a.m. knocks on the door to check off that I DON'T want laundry service was a bit ridiculous. "Very convinient"
This hotel is in the centre of Dar, very convinient for the port if you're heading to Zanzibar and to other areas like Oysterbay if you want to visit the bars for a drink. Staff were super friendly and nice, could not fault them, there is a 5% service charge at the end I was not expecting though... Overall very good hotel, I would recomend.

We were not disappointed with our choice. We were close to everything we needed to be close to. Staff were pleasant and professional. Courtesy bus to beach hotel and deserted Island was UNBELEIVABLE! Having YMCA over the road with great exchange rates was an unexpected plus! Amazing hotel. Its very well appointed and well worth the money. It has a great roof top bar/restaurant which is for a hotel reasonably priced. The staff are very nice. There s (fast -for tanzanian standards!) internet access. The airport is only 20-30min away which is very convienent! We actually missed our flights and when we came to check back in […] at about 5am they gave us a new room free of charge. Disappointing that room was not ready for 4 people and cramped however hotel manager was friendly and responsive.
Nice location at the city center and very reasonable rates. Unfortunately, the bath room was not that impressive with water standing when you take shower.

It is very conveniently located, right the center of the city. However, that was the only good thing about this hotel. The hotel staff at the reception were all not friendly at all and somehow even rude! There is a swimming pool and nice restaurant and bar. We stayed two nights at the swimming pool side room and one night at the entrance side room on […] the way back. The swimming pool side of the rooms were nice and quiet but the entrance side of the room was very noisy. he room we satyed on the way back weren't even furnished properly and we have to ask to get a chair. If not we had to sit on the bed all the time. Airport transfers were supposed to be provided for free of charge but we didn't get any. We were not met met by anyone on arrival. On the departure, we were told that our departure is too ealry in the morning for their driver! It is the only for their famous name but the bad reputation. Great location if you have business in the city centre. Very friendly staff. Food at resturant is excellent. Considering that Dares Salaam is no tthe prettiest or cleanest city in the world, the hotel is of a very high standard.

From the outside the hotel looks good, but while the rooms are spacious there is, incredibly, a severe lack of draw space to put your clothing. The draws they do have buck up against the door, making it difficult to maneuver. In fact, the rooms are the most poorly laid out I have ever seen (bad planning). Also, few people there speak/understand English […] well, requiring me to work through the manager. The surrounding neighborhood could be dangerous, so be careful, especially at night. Prices at the restaurants and other stores are very, very expensive (surprisingly). The people who work there in general are very nice and helpful. They try. "Awesome Experience"
This was out welcome to Africa moment. We took a taxi from the airport through the relative craziness of afternoon traffic in Dar, not really sure what we were going to find at our hotel. We got to the hotel and were immediately greeted with a warm towel to wash our hands and face and a glass of mango juice. Wow, don't get that service many places. […] That sort of service was repeated throughout our stay with polite english speaking staff, an incredible work out facility, beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar, halfway street overlook - really it set the tone for the wonderful considerate people we found throughout Tanzania. - kostbart tilleg for ekstraseng, selv om vi gjennom hotels.com hadde betalt for tre personer - lite behjelpelig da vi to ganger ble frastjelt eiendeler på hotellets område
Hotellet var fint men hotellrummet vi hade saknade helt kvalitetskänsla. Det var många småsaker som inte funkade och det kändes som att badrummen skulle må bra av en ordentlig översyn.

"Holiday Inn Dar es Salaam :Gewoon goed gastvrij"
Dit hotel is een baken van rust in het drukke Dar es Salaam. De kamers zijn schoon, confortabel, ruim en geluidsarm. Ondanks dat wij, door een vroege vlucht, om 07.00 uur in de ochtend bij het hotel aankwamen hoefden we niet te wachten tot de officiele inchecktijd. Een aanrader !

el servicio no es el esperado en un hotel de esta cadena y categoría, el uso de la tarjeta cliente (Priority club) no fue posible y el agua de la ducha no salía con la temperatura adecuada, pero comparativamente con otros hoteles de la zona está muy bien, sobre todo en relación calidad/precio.

"prima hotel"
prima hotel om een paar nachtjes te overnachten. Ik zelf heb er maar 1 nacht doorgebracht. Het hotel ziet er in eerste instantie mooi en goed onderhouden uit. Het bed was heerlijk groot en niet te hard of te zacht. De badkamer was voorzien van een goede douche en bad met een goede water druk ( wil nog wel eens ontbreken in Tanzania)als je iets langer […] kijkt zie dat voornamelijk in de badkamer wat achterstallig onderhoud is of gewoon slordig afgewerkt maar niet storend en er waren geen gebreken. voor leisure gasten is het hotel niet echt geschikt omdat het buiten de bars niet veel meer te bieden heeft, wel bieden ze een gratis pendelbusje aan naar een hotel met zwembad. Voor de zakelijke gast is het een prima hotel met alle faciliteiten. Ga 's avonds niet alleen de straat op hier als je de buurt niet kent. spreek voordat je in de taxi stapt altijd een prijs af en neem alleen taxi's die een vergunning hebben ( groen met witte auto's) het onderhoud van deze auto's zijn tenminste van een redelijke kwaliteit Przeczytaj więcej
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. In Gehdistanz zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal, gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit grosser Auswahl.

Hotelin sijainti ja siisteys ym oivat kohdallaan. Miespuolinen henkilökunta oli kohteliasta ja palvelu kohdallaan. Ravintolan naistarjoilijat olivat epäkohteliati, osa jopa töykeitä varsinkin seurueemme neisasiakkaille. Osasta huoneista perittiin perusteetta ylimääräistä palvelumaksua.
