"Not worth the $"
Pretty hotel and room. Our window looked a short distance across a gravel roof at the side of a building. The shower was broken and the front desk staff was not helpful. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The hotel was lovely and the service was great. Loved the trolley to the beach club. The beach club is small and intimate. The service there is excellent. In addition to being an excellent hotel, my family and I were completely impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I would not stay any place else in Delray Beach or surrounds. The Seagate is the top choice!

This is a fabulous hotel and I cannot wait to go back. The lobby is gorgeous. Check-in was a breeze and they even were able to accomodate my early check-in request. It is located in a great area and the hotel offers car service to many locations there. The trolley to the private beach club is wonderful. The pool is small but nice and private. Pool bar […] service was very helpful and friendly. The room was bright and spacious as well as immaculate. We loved the balcony and sat out on it until late at night. I got the best massage at the spa that I've ever had and went to get a second one the next day. The service at the bar was great and the food at the restaurant was very good. "Excellent stay at Seagate Hotel & Spa"
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights between Miami and Orlando. We looked for some ideas online and stumbled across the town of Delray. We could not have been luckier, the hotel was absolutely amazing and the town is great. The hotel itself is really nice and worth the slightly higher price. It has a nice spa and gym and the rooms are great. We […] booked the cheapest room but it was still lovely and had a huge bed, tv etc. only thing missing was a bath but this didn't matter to us, it had a big walk in shower. There is a pool but it was shaded so we went to the Seagate Beach club. It is a ten minute stroll or there is a lovely free bus. At the beach club there is another pool or you can have a lounger on the beach - they provide towels and a little flag that you can raise if you want a drink! Prices were a lot more reasonable here than in miami. We had lunch at the beach club one day and it was a buffet style with lots to choose from and it was all nice. The hotel checked us in early and let us have the room late, the concierge helped us book dinner and the guys in the coffee shop made us great milkshakes and bagels. Everyone went out of their way to make it a great stay. You do have to pay for parking but I think it was about 20 dollars a night which was cheaper than Miami and Orlando. I think it is pretty standard in the US. The town of Delray is great, there is one long street with loads of bars and restaurants on it. They are mainly independent places but there are a few chains such as Starbucks. There is a great frozen yoghurt shop which is good for dessert! We went to Vic & Angelo's Italian and an American restaurant called Office which were both great and reasonably priced. There is a mall in Boca Raton which is about a 15 minute drive away with all the big names in such as Gap, Abercrombie etc This is a great hotel and a great town, we will definitely be going back! We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant and the room and overall hotel was really nice. I was very surprised that it was a fairly new hotel. It seemed like a classic hotel that had been well maintained. Nicely done.

Surroundings are great. Room was very uncomfortable the bed was horrible. The lights that flicker all night on the wet bar, light switches and fire alarm are like a laser light show all night.

"Seagate-- Too Good"
We had an agenda--too bad. The beach, beach club, hotel was a destination, not a crash pad-- next time we'll stay longer... Fabulous place!
"Beautiful Rooms and Property But....."
Pretty amateurish service, particularly the woman (Breanna?) at the main desk....she seemed more interested in socializing with her friends than in attending to questions and pointing out services and amenities. This property is also somewhat overpriced for it's location and amenities.

The hotel was great,service was impeccable. One small problem was the interior room had a view of the parking garage wall. Otherwise the Beach Club restaurant was fantastic and happy hour was great especially Andre the bartender.

This is new hotel, built on an urban site, and it is a half mile from its pool and beach. Not a family-friendly spot, better for business or all-adult gatherings. The hotel rooms are built right to the street edge, surround a parking garage. The result is that the rooms face onto either the street or the garage. No ocean views, no pool views, no sense […] that you are near the beach beyond the sleek seashell-inspired decor. The hotel pool is very small, and is associated with a retail spa that is separated with its own entrance. The beach club is members-only, formal dining upstairs, no jeans, no cell phones. "The Seagate - the greatest hotel at Delray Beach"
I had an amazing time at the Seagate! The room is super clean with boutique interior and a marble bathroom. Very quite and comfortable. Valet parking has nice courteous staffs. About 2 blocks from the beach. Does not have an ocean view, but I just had a great experience there. The bar is really fun with live music. I am definately staying there again […] next time!!!
