Cozy place, nice decoration, good prices, friendly staff and in the heart of Auckland.

Great stay, close to Britomart and good hospitality

For the price I would have expected to find 1/10th the quality. Location perfect for strolling Auckland's CBD. Well done, thank you!

Well priced, simple hotel, minimalist decor. Though noisy with teenagers visiting night of weekend, out in auckland.Very cheap, excellent location. Would stay again but need to watch out for noisy neighbours

Ive been going to Juicy for over a month now every other week, and they donty make up my room, even after i ask it still doesnt get made up. Also i always have to ask for new towels after being there for 4 nights in a row. Other than that Polo is awesome and the team are great.

The rooms are quite clean, especially the shared bath room. The receptions are all very nice and patient in responding queries. The location is also good, near both the main street and the harbour.

Impressive room size, very clean, great location -- and lots of clever and colorful touches. Also several computer terminals for $3/hour internet access -- away from the chaos of lobby or rooms. Attendant let us in when we came home from being out (2 a.m.) -- they let everyone in. Great for security, maybe not so great if you plan to bring someone home! good: location (5min walk to main street and harbour, nice neighbourhood), friendly staff (very helpful with tips for Auckland), good value for price bad: misleading name (hotel, but is more like a hostel)

would stay again - only down side is - very noisy at night due to people outside - possibly partying in the park opposite

It is value for money, you can have your own room. Kitchen is clean and it is a focal point to make friends. The hotel is close to the supermarket. If it can lower the internet charge, it will perfect place for the low budget visitors.

Good hotel 5 minutes from downtown. beds and showers are clean and good. single glass cause of some road noise but there is not much traffic. and purple and green colors are quite nice ;)

The hotel is on a quiet and leafy park, close to both Parnell for food and the sights of the Central Business District. My room was clean, the staff was helpful.

The location is very good except for a super steep road to the hotel, close to Queen Street but still quite. The stuff was nice too. Price is reasonable. However, there is no window screen to keep worms and insects from entering the room. I found some insect like a spider in one of the restroom. Was not clear that there was 2 sides to the hotel. 1 side was a youth hostel, where we ended up staying. Would not be our choice.

For a non smoking hotel, there is to much smoke around form outside smokers, to much noise from the toilets, moisty air and poor hygien at the toilets.

Hotel is very accessible. Short walk to the city centre. Very quiet environment too. It is clean and private. Had a very pleasant stay :)

Didn't go here with high hopes but the place turned out to be great. Room was clean and everything worked fine. My only complaint would be that the room could have used an air conditioner. There was a fan however.

I stayed in the shared facilities room. That means there's just a bed and a mirror in the room nothing else. That's what you pay for. The room is big enough, and if you really want to watch TV (?) there's one in the common room. There's also a kitchen there

Hotel is at top of a hill and then another hill...quite a climb...not recommended if walking with luggage. Great location for us....near bus line and near ferry terminal. Greater price. Unusual color scheme. A bit noisy first night; but much better second. Staff were great in providing info about inexpensive places to eat.

We love the bright and lovely colours of this hotel and we would stay here again because we find it rather convenient. However, we would hesitate to recommend this hotel to others because the walls are rather thin.

Parking spaces were very small and for a small car do taken multiple turns to exit this is unacceptable... Kitchen was untidy at all times. Couch in lounge has a foot missing so therefore is lopsided. Bed was uncomfortable.

Really a hostel more than hotel. Single room was well sized. Is pretty tired looking, and shared bathrooms aren't great. But good location, friendly staff and very reasonably priced, you get exactly what you'd expect.

I felt safe in my small room, no frills was just fine and gave me more cash for staying out in the wonderful city of Aukland. Very friendly and interesting people. Did get some young loud drinkers but the staff seemed aware and put it to astop.

Bathroom/shower facilities need upgrading. Access cramped.

Great location, ideal for RWC, but over priced. Very basic room, only contained a bed. Shared bathroom with entire floor. Did have a shared kitchen and lounge as well.

I stayed at the Jucy Hotel in Auckland for 2 nights in September 2011. The hotel is in a great location, a 10 minute walk to the harbour and in a quiet location off the main streets. The hotel itself is basic but fine for a couple of nights if you are on a budget but want a hotel in a good location. For me, I wasn't planning to spend much time in […] the hotel, so it was fine. We stayed for 2 nights and were very satisfied with what we found - so close to Queen Street and the ferry terminal and easy access to the airport bus. The staff were great - my only complaint is it was noisy in the hotel itself both nights - guests moving around, but i'll be booking again

This is not the best hotel in Auckland, but I guess it's the best choice if you don't want to spend too much for accommodation. Hotel staff is very friendly, location is great, room (double ensuite) is stylish and cozy.

Cheap, clean, dont take your car - the parks are too small for anything larger than a mosquito-but friendly and helpful staff. Take your own table and chair as none in the rooms. Shared lounge comfortable and relatively large enough. Take ear plugs to sleep soundly.

I initially stayed 3 night and was very happy with the hotel. I came back for another 4 nights and unfortunately there was a concert in Auckland and the hotel was full of "party people".The night staff were made aware of the situation but didn't appear to do anything. - Noisy Hotel - No table in the room and just a few in the kitchen - cheap internet access - good laundry service - the fridge in the kitchen is to small not enough space - it's a basic basic hotel

This place is basic and could do with a bit of a spruce up in places (bathrooms) but overall is ok for the money and it's clean. Our double room was a double bunk (with a single bed above) which was not what we'd expected, but all right for a night or two. Location is good though even if it is up quite a steep hill!

Well situated, with basement garage parking.The buffet breakfast was very good.

Hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt im Jucy Hotel, das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und auch sauber. Toiletten und Duschen sowie Gemeinschaftsraum und Küche waren ebenfalls in sehr gutem Zustand und wurden regelmäßig geputzt.
