This was the second time we have stayed at Spindrift. the first time it was really good, however, this trip the room wasn't all that clean. the staff were very friendly to us. overall it is a good hotel, but the rooms need to be cleaned better....

As others stated, the folks at this hotel were very nice and accommodating. The rooms seemed to all have an ocean view beyond an open area that appeared to have been a park of some kind at one time. I had a very late arrival, and despite the hour, the clerk was quick, friendly and efficient. The room was adequate for the purpose of staying the night on travels up the coast.

This hotel was ok- I don't know if I'd stay here again... you get what you pay for I suppose. I would not, however, go across the street to O'Houlagans. The hostess was very rude and snobby, the menu was very expensive, but the atmosphere was half dumpy and the food wasn't all that great. no buffer from noise of other occupants. Did not matter if they were outside or next room or up stairs room. Beds hard and bedding did not fit beds.

"Nice clean place"
The hotel that I would normally stay at was completely booked. So based on reviews and price I decided to give the Spindrift a try. It was very clean, comfortable and looked like it had been recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was pleasant at the north end of town. I would stay there again.

"Room Stay"
There was the usual amenities but there was no tissues in the room. The bathroom is too small. There was noise from below and they were loud.
"Friendly service"
We started with a room on the bottom floor. You can really hear anyone walking above. However they had no problem switching us to a different room on the upstairs level, and we had a good stay and got a good night's sleep before moving to our next destination.

The motel was very clean and the host were exceptional....No air conditioning but they loaned me a fan...

"Clean but not fancy"
The room was very clean as was the bedding etc. I would rate this room between a Super 8 and a Motel 6. Not at all fancy but an acceptable place to hang your hat. The room had a fridge, microwave and a coffe pot.
"Needs improvement"
This is one of the only motels located in this area. It was just okay. The price was affordable and in a good location. It needs updating though and the bed is not the most comfortable.
"Good Room for the Money"
This hotel was clean and the bed was moderately comfortable. The only complaint is the the door did not close tightly. You could see light through the door edge when the door was closed.
