I was only staying 1 night, to pay a visit to the nearby Samitivej Hospital (a 40 baht taxi ride away). Hotel was very well received in all aspects.

Very clean hotel, about 35 minutes from the airport, wifi was a little slow at times however the quality of the room was superb. Very spacious, comfy and quiet. Breakfast buffet also offered a good choice of dining options and the hotel has a good varied menu.

We stayed at the adelphi Grande Hotel in March 2012. We loved the hotel. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a washer dryer which was a great binus for us as we were moving on to Vietnam, so this enabled us to get all our clothes clean again before we left. The only problem we had was that the streets near to the hotel were infested with rats which made getting to and from the metro a nightmare. Not so bad in the day although we still saw a few rats, but at nighttime we had to run the gauntlet. The problem is due to the amount of garbage left at the roadside in plastic bags by the food traders. Of course this is no fault of the Adelphi Grande and it is a shame if their business is affected by the problem as we would otherwise have no hesitation in staying with them again.
