We did not stay here and had to find another hotel as the room was infested with roaches and so were the other 2 rooms they tried to put us in.
"Nasty do not stay here"
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Not only was it dirty and old my non-smoking room had burn holes in the bedding. I slept in my clothes and couldn't wait to get out of there!

I booked two rooms at the Super 8 in San Angelo while visiting my son, who is in the Air Force. The hotel needs a complete overahul. The room my wife and I stayed in had wiring hanging out of the ceiling where the smoke detector is supposed to be. The toilet was not secured to the floor; making it almost unsafe to use. Visable stains all over the carpeting throughout the room and the ceiling and floor, molding in the bathroom showed tremendous amounts of water damage. The grounds outside the room had trash and other debris all over the place. Not exactly sure what a 2-star hotel is supposed to look like, but after this stay, will never find out again. "Good Service"
I made my reservation that same day through Hotels.com. The reservation was for the next day instead of that night. (My mistake) The hotel manager graciously gave us a room last night and didn't make me pay extra. He settled directly with Hotels.com. Great customer service.

Toilet did not flush appropriately, breakfast was warm, but no fruit or salsa. Coffee ooh it could be better. Also when my man went to the front desk to ask for more pillows no one around.oh Weil betty next time.goods overall!

"TERRIBLE HOTEL!"
Bathroom door was smashed in and had no handle, blood in the corner of the room on the carpet and the wall, burn holes in the bedspread, stains all over the carpet......One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in!

I have never written a negative review, but I don't have a choice here. This room was horrible. The carpet had lots of stains, one looked like something was leaking all the way across the room. For a hotel that is supposed to have been renovated, it looked more like a slum. The room itself was deplorable. There were stains all over the carpet. "Not Recommended"
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. There were bugs everywhere. My toddler and I went swimming in the pool and there were black water bugs that came and tried to attach themselves to me. When I rented the hotel with hotels.com I requested to have a toddler crib for my daughter. When I went to tell the workers they had forgot to put one […] in the room the man said that everyone that needed one had one. I was holding my daughter in my arms and obviously didn't have a toddler crib in my room. If you want to get a good nights rest and not walk away wondering if you had picked something up then don't go here. Also, there was old red stuff dried to the walls in the hallway with holes. I reserved a king size bed, I end up with two queen size, the sheets were stained no info was given to what time check out was, just a really bad experience

Very dirty, hair on the tile. Ugly color on the walls, dirty shower
Although the air conditioner worked great and the bed was comfortable, The carpet was very old and dirty and there was not a table to sit at. The pool was being repaired so swimming was out of the question. Remodeling is definately needed.
"Actual Roach Motel"
Air conditioner didnt work very well, dirty carpets, broken bed frame, actually viewed roaches crawling on the walls and shady characters hanging out in the courtyard all hours of the night. Empty beer bottles and overflowing trash in the courtyard as well. Would not recommend

Stayed one night 'going' and one night 'returning' on our trip. The first night we received incorrect info on pool hours so the kids were disappointed... the second night the pool was actually closed down completely. Both mornings the breakfast was horrible... biscuits like sand, doughy waffles, and gravy like water the first visit and sludge the second. The […] second visit we were also treated to a bit of a 'Days of Our Lives' episode as the staff cleaned up breakfast while discussing a former coworker. I'm glad my kids are young enough to be oblivious but even I don't really care to know how relieved this guy was not to be the father of her baby. They were nice enough when chatting with us about our trip later... but service and attention to the customers were *not* a priority here. We won't be back when we come this way next year. Room was well maintained but outside was terrible. Food on sidewalks, pool dirty, breakfast bar was poorly maintained. Room did not have internet service, ask if I could changed rooms was told no, no other suggestion or considerations voiced. Called Hotels.com and service there was poorly had to resolve issue myself.

Good, inexpensive place to stay. Traffic noise was somewhat bothersome. After 2nd day I learned how to set the HVAC fan to run continuously at night. (this motel has a different HVAC control system than most motels) Overall it's a good place to stay if you're not after frills and conveniences.
Hotel is a basic, no-frills, clean place to stay. It has been newly remodeled and all the amenities are available(pool, wi-fi, and breakfast)

Soon after we got into the room we discovered that the styrofoam cups left in the room were both dirty - stuck together with lipstick on one cup. Two cups (enclosed in plastic) were also dirty - with what looked like splattered coffee. There was no facial tissue in the room either - and none available upon our request. "SMOKE!!!!!!"
This was supposed to be a non smoking room & apparently they wash all the linens together with the smokers linens so everything in the room smelled like smoke. I would NOT recommend this hotel.
"Motel 8 San Angelo-Trying but not quite there yet"
This hotel has undergone lots of renovations and is much improved from what it used to be, however, it still needs a lot of work. The bed in the room was very nice but the linens left a lot to be desired. Sheets were thin and worn, pillows were flat and hard and the comforter had stains. There were also very nasty looking stains at the foot of the bed […] and the carpet in general seemed dirty. While the room did not smell like cigarette smoke, which was nice, it did have a wierd smell to it. Like some kind of strong cleaner trying to cover up a nasty smell. The bath towels were very worn and some had stains too. I did get a really great price thru hotels.com so I feel like I can't complain too much as this really falls into the "you get what you pay for" category. "You get what you pay for"
The hotel is undergoing renovation, but I am not sure they know how to do it. The rooms have unfinished details--stained bathtubs, openings in the walls and ugly carpet to name a few. If you want to be left alone this is the place as the "maids" are hard to find (and recognize since there are no standard uniforms). The hotel office was hot. Had to stand around and wait for them to find our reservation. They tried to state we hadn't paid and needed our Credit Card information again.
