The rooms were nice and clean. The location is 20mins walk from downtown Santa Cruz. Nice hotel.

Took my Daughter and her friends to Santa Cruz for an over- night birthday. This hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly, the girls loved the breakfast!!! The Only thing, I wish it was closer to the beach. Next time I will check that out more closely before booking. All in All it was very clean, and staff was friendly.

The hotel was very nice and clean. My only complaint is that the house keeper was very noisy in the morning and you could hear easily through the walls.

The accomodations in the suite were roomy. The room was very clean. It was very convenient to have breakfast on site as we were on the go. Everyone was very friendly. Staff took very good care of us. Thankyou.

This hotel is very well kept. Breakfast in the morning was adequate. Parking stalls in garage were a little cramped. Would stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was true to the reviews I had read before booking. Very clean, comfortable, modern and convenient. The breakfast was extremely good as well. Would recommend.

profesional and friendly service, clean everywhere, no smell like the others. Breakfast which was included made profesionaly, testyandmost important veriety. Comfortable beds. What was missing is a refrigrator. I was completly satisfied. Thank you Holiday inn and staff

This hotel is well-maintained and professionally staffed. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There is sufficient parking, although the spaces are very narrow & a little harrowing to park even a mid-sized sedan. Service was prompt , efficient, and friendly. This hotel was in a nice area and located conveniently near everything we did in Santa Cruz. I would stay here again! The complimentary breakfast was excellent and had a good variety.

Hard to see the hotel from the street until you've passed it. Need a taller sign or something. The room was extremely nice and clean, but the view was non existent, unless you call looking out the window at the business next door's dumpster. We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast was great, the staff friendly and courteous, and even though the hotel is on a major street next to the freeway we couldn't hear any noise. The room was amazing, very large & comfortable bed, plenty of space, and energy efficient. We were in the area for a comedy show at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, and it was just a quick drive from the hotel. This is a newer hotel and everything about it is nice!! Enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again! It has vaulted ceiling, new bathroom appliances, and updated decor! Staff were friendly and everything was very clean!! The hotel is in a good location as well!

You know what you are going to get. I've stayed in these Holiday Inn's before and will continue. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are clean and spotless. Better than a continental breakfast and reasonably priced. I've only had to stay one night and I'm quite satisfied.

We had a lot on our schedule for this weekend and your staff made our stay relaxing and efficient. The continental breakfast had a great selection and the connivence kept us on track and more importantly on time.

We took a short weekend trip to Santa Cruz...would have preferred something closer to the beach, but overall the hotel was a nice experience. The continental breaklfast was very good, clean rooms, and for being so close to freeway and busy street it was pretty quiet. Would stay again.

This was a great hotel with great staff! The ONLY negative I would say is that on the first floor it is EXTREMELY noisy so if you are going for quiet stay on the upper floors.

We stayed for one night while in town to attend a memorial service. The front desk was super helpful with directions, especially with protests blocking streets and they were able to provide alternate routes for us to get around. The building is pretty new and thus, everything was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the parking garage […] spaces are very, very narrow. I drive a Volvo station wagon and parked next to a regular sedan-style car and had to let my passenger out before parking, then wedge myself out of the car. Great service, comfortable and clean, surrounding area isn't that pretty but it's close to the beach and the boardwalk and UC Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College if you have a car. Watch out for tight parking spaces in the garage

The hotel was really new and very comfortable. The room was clean and had all the modern conveniences. Breakfast in the morning was great, and it was within walking distance to everything I wanted to see. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I would totally recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Very clean, recently built, located conveniently close to Highway 17. Easy to find, subterranean parking great (covered from the elements). Everything was exceptional, from the moment we arrived. Very friendly reception, the room was ready early, there was underground parking, the room was large and very quiet, the shower nozzle was high (great for taller folks), and breakfast was better than the usual run-of-the-mill fare, with pretty good variety and a cool pancake maker.

The hotel was nice and clean but the service at the front desk was cold. Location of the room was near the lobby/breakfast area so it was really noisy late at night and early in the morning.
