This hotel is not conveniently located near shops and eating, but what it lacks in location, it makes up in value. No bells and whistles, but great price, very comfortable, modern and clean. And it includes breakfast.

A very nice, clean hotel and an excellent value for the price. A little removed from town (but this was a positive for me) and very clean and quiet place to stay. No weirdness happening in the parking lot late or anything like that - why I chose the location. Will definitely stay there again. Can't beat it...

The only thing bad about the hotel is the location its not near any resturants. the staff was wonderful and the rooms and hotel are super clean and comfortable beds.
"Out of the way"
I had gone to this area on business and chose this hotel based on price and a few select amenities. However, while the room was clean and comfortable, it was well off of the beaten path. Even with a gps map to show me the way, the gps showed the hotel was in a different location, about three miles from where it really is. How a hotel in Texas has no […] pool is a mystery. The continental breakfast? This consists of pre-formed runny egg & cheese omlettes, soggy bacon and dried out bagels and muffins. There are also only two small tables with four chairs each. This becomes a problem when there are more than two people in the area. I have stayed in numerous hotels and have yet to see total strangers share a table. The waffles, however, being of the Belgian-style, were fabulous. Be careful when asking the desk clerk about refilling the coffee or orange juice. This is apparently not their job nor anywhere close to it. This hotel is quite a distance away from anything in town as it is not in town. Be prepared to travel to go to dinner, a show or anything else. If you travel frequently, this hotel only has two washing machines and two dryers. You will be better off finding a laundrymat in town. "Early alarms"
Be careful when booking this motel from hotels.com-they did not have my reservation which was quite annoying but better than that was the train that went thru at 230am I did have to get up early but not quite that early. Won't be staying there again and won't be using hotels.com again either.

the singles are too small for easy movement. no seating room for any visitors. the manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. they went out of their way to make me happy.. I would not hesitate to visit them again. there were a couple of hotels-motels in the area who had better rates. but, as for service I say try them.

The rooms were very clean and inviting - modern. They let us check in early with no problems. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful - alot of variety. Not really close to any sites but only minutes away from the restaurants in Beaumont and about 30 minutes from the beach. "Microtel Inn and Suites Port Arthur"
When we checked in the room was dirty, the beds had hair and make up on them and the bathroom had wet toilet paper on the floor. GROSS! We were moved to a different room but it was just as bad. The staff was very rude and the hotel was unfinished and in my opinion unsafe. I will never stay there again!
"Perfect for Refinery Workers"
If you are working on one of the refineries in Port Arthur this is a great hotel. Located just off of 73 all of the refineries are minutes away. The rooms may be a little small, but they are very comfortable and new.

"Microtel stay in Pt Arthur"
My stay at Microtel was very good. The condition of the hotel is great. However, the staff at the front desk need additional training. Both the front desk clerk at night and in the morning were not very friendly and made an effort to greet me.

"Dirty Rooms With Thin Walls"
Short and sweet. Check in clerk was rude. First room was dirty and had hairs all over the bed; gross. Second room smelled like an ashtray even though it was a non smoking room. Third room was fine but I could hear the next room's tv for most of the night. Called downstairs to let management know, nothing happened.
