Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was right beside the Dartmouth Crossing Mall where there are many restaurants (mostly fast food) and many shops.

As a family of 5 the accommodations were perfect!! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The staff were freindly and helpful, very welcoming. Great hotel, however the lack of pool towels was dissapointing. it was 7pm and they gave me the last two towels available for the night.(there was 5 of us) and the pool is open until 11pm. The towels were hard to access, nowhere in sight.

Great location for some shopping. It was a two night getaway for my husband, daughter and I. Our 7 year old loved the pool and they offer a fantastic breakfast each morning. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend this location!

Overall, I was pleased with the Hotel and what it had to offer. It was very clean, the staff at the front desk were very nice, the beds were very comfortable and it was convenient to have breakfast right at the hotel. A couple of noteworthy points though. If you are going on a weekend, be prepared for kids...lots of kids! We loved our stay at the Hampton Dartmouth, we have two young boys and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool and waterslide. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and breakfast was great. It will be our choice from now on when we are in the area!

The one thing on the negative side is that they would not allow a cot for the room we stayed in (two queens) for our four year old but Dennis working the front desk (with a broken arm) did everything he could to get us some extra linens to make due. He did a good job of making us feel like someone cared. cheers

Our stay was awesome. My only concern was that we booked 2 queen size beds through Expedia.ca but the beds were not queen size - I think they were doubles. Not sure why we were offered queen size beds when that wasnt an option. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our room was well appointed, but we would like to have had a fridge. The wifi didn't work in our room with either the ipad or iphone. The desk clerk got it working in the lobby, but it would not work in the room. We liked the speed and frequency of the elevators. The location was very convenient, good parking and clean.

Went to the hotel not expecting much, but the location was great and the staff is great. IF there was something to complain about, and this is just nit picking, would be the breakfast. its a simple breakfast .. nothig bad ... but nothing special. But enough to get your day going. Amazing. We got upgraded to a suite for free! It was so clean, and the room was massive. The free breakfast is also great to be able to wake up to and go downstairs and get.

We booked our room here last minute, and had to pay a little more than we usually pay at another hotel in the city, because that one was full. The extra cost was definitely worth it though. The room was great, breakfast was excellent, and the kids couldn't get enough of the water slide.

Nice clean room, very comfortable bed, but not so quiet. Kids running and yelling in the halls well past 11pm and the screeching in the pool was just ridiculous!! We would definitely stay there again though, despite the noise.
