Bardzo dogodne położenie blisko dworca kolejowego,a także centrum. Obsługa miła,udziela wszelkich informacji,w przypadku konieczności bez problemu oferuje wynajęcie taksówki. Pokoje małe,czyste,ale wystarczające na krótki pobyt. Uwagi moje dotyczą kodowania niektórych programów TV,jak Eurosport,Animal Planet.

"Cheap and works to sleep in"
Small and pretty low standard but clean and nice bathroom. Close to everything and cheap.
Nice location right next to canal, about 20-30 minutes walk from the center. Peaceful area. We found nice bar called Amstel very near that I'd recommend especially for young people to go. However, the hotel itself was a quite disappoint. Staff wasn't too helpful, room was very cold and there was bad smell all the time. Breakfast was in hotel Max as […] we knew but after all I'd rather had no breakfast at all instead of what we get.. there wasn'tt even water to drink in breakfast so that was quite poor. "Under rennovation"
Hotel was under rennovation and we had not been informed while reservation. There was quite a lot noise. The checkin and breakfast was at another hotel due to the construction. The hotel took a 20Euro deposit for keys and remote controller but did not deliver the remote controller in three days. The room was OK in terms of Amsterdam standards.
"Very dodgy hotel"
It is a cheap hotel but that said: still very dodgy DO NOT STAY HERE Before i say the bad I will say the room was clean next the not so good It started on arrival, the building is an overflow for the hotel max so there isnt even a reception at the iris at all. The facilities are 400m down the road The main door never locked propperly so not very secure The […] receptionist added "city tax" to the bill despite the web site saying everything was already paid Oh and it had to be in cash He wrote it in biro on the receipt even though the rest was printed Then there was €20 deposit for the key (although i did get that back eventually) When i was given change it was wrong despite being worked out with a calculator Then i had to sign to say.if i smoked in the room i would be fined €350. "Hotel Iris - Good location"
This hotel worked out for our family. The location was great-next to a canal and a short walk to the tram. It is situated in a relatively quiet area. The down side was that the steps (no elevator) are very steep so it is a little difficult to get your luggage up and down the stairs. You can also hear your neighbors as the walls are thin. "Uanstændig hoteloplevelse"
Vores ophold på Hotel Iris var alt andet end komfortabelt. Værelset var uhumsk med kæmpe fugtige skjolder på gulve og vægge, beskidte ødelagte gardiner, manglende håndklæder + sæbe, ødelagt gang uden for værelset og elendige senge. Vi er lykkelige over at komme hjem uden en sygdom. Servicen var i bund, receptionisten var ubehøvlet og ugidelig. Vores […] klage om værelset blev mødt med et lille smil, træk på skulderen og ikke skyggen af en undskyldning eller beklagelse. Beliggenheden var fin. Alt i alt, den værste hoteloplevelse til dato. "Overraskende pænt og rent"
Hotel Iris var en meget positiv oplevelse. Bygningen udefra og især den stejle og slidte opgang til værelset lovede ikke det bedste, men da vi trådte ind i rummet var det bare i orden. Por la categoria del Hotel y el precio pues no debo ser exigente, pero segun el promocional, decia con servicio de internet y esto no es cierto, el Hotel estaba en proceso de remodelacion, si tienes suerte encontraras a la Recepcion, porque tuve que ir a otro Hotel para hacer el Chek in, ....

"Hotell Iris i Amsterdam - mye for pengene!"
Vi bodde på hotell iris i tre dager, å er storfornøyd med både service og rom. Vi ble tilbudt billig taxi fra flyplassen til hotellet og tilbake og takket ja til dette. Vi ankom hotellet kl 8 å fikk satt bagasjen fra oss til vi kunne sjekke inn kl 2. Hotellets ansatte tok godt i mot oss og var veldig hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Hotellet holder på og pusse […] opp, og vårt rom var nyoppusset, og veldig fint. Frokosten var helt grei. Dette er et billig hotell, å vi syntes vi fikk mye for pengene. Før vi bestilte så vi et par dårlige anmeldelser, men syntes ikke disse stemte. Dette er et billig hotell og en bør ikke forvente 5stjerners luksus for denne prisen. "Overrasket"
Til prisen, får man virkelig meget for pengene. Det var virkelig store forhold og så med morgenmad incl. Værelset var en anelse slidt og tapetet hang i laser hist og pist... Men som helhed et godt sted. Det får lige en stjerne mere inden for bedømmelsen..

Det var bättre än väntat på detta hotell. Entrén och mattorna i trappen etc är väldigt nedgångna. Rummet innehöll en dubbelsäng, två antika fåtöljer ett skrivbord och några skåp. Duschen och toan var ok, även om golvbrunnen i duschen i saknade lock. Frukosten och incheckning skedde på hotell max i kvarteret jämte. Det var toast, marmelad, ost och skinka […] till frukost. Yövyimme ystäväporukalla hotelli Iriksessä kaksi yötä. Hotelli sijaitsi hyvällä ja rauhallisella alueella, kävelymatkan päässä ydinkeskustasta. Itse hotelli oli enemmänkin hostelli, huoneemme seinästä olivat maalit irtoilleet, nojatuoliin oli poltettu tupakalla reikiä ja lattia tuntui olevan vinossa. Tämä ei kuitenkaan haitannut, sillä tiesimme jo hotelliin […] mennessämme ettei kyseessä ole mikään luksushotelli. Hotel Iris sopi oikein mainiosti tarkoitukseensa; yöpymispaikka hyvällä sijainnilla. Vietimme vain yöt hotellissa, eikä naapureista ollut haittaa yöaikaan. Huone oli siisti, ja lakanat ja pyyhkeet vaihdettiin. Aamiainen ja vastaanotto sijaitsivat Hotel Maxissa, jonne oli vain noin minuutin kävelymatka. Aamiaiselle kuului paahtoleipää, muroja, jogurttia ja leivänpäällisiä, mikä oli oikein hyvä hotellin hintatasoon nähden. "Hotel Iris - Rolig gade, tæt på centrum"
Perfekt til at indtage Amsterdam på gåben, må ikke være gangbesværet, da trapper er meget stejle. Meget dyrt at parkere, rart med info om p-hus eller andre billigere parkeringsmuligheder. Rent og ordentligt, men en knust lyspære, og lidt hældning i gulvet må tåles. Venligt personale og ok morgenmad.

We arrived late at night, came to our hotel, found out that they didn't have a reception, so that in order to get our key, we had to go to another hotel not far from there (still annoying to walk for 5 minutes extra with all your luggage) to check in and get our key, then walk back. Finally, we got to our hotel, with our key. Opened up the door, and […] the hotel was a typically Amsterdam building. Where the reception should of been, there was just maps and some flyers from different tourist attractions around Amsterdam.Stairs was very narrow and steep. Almost a wonder none of us fell throughout our stay :P When we got to our room, we finally got a pleasant surprise. The room was quite big and comfortable compared to the rest of the hotel. But they only changed sheets and towels 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed there, which also pulled abit down. There was also a simple breakfast included, but we had to go all the way to the other hotel again, in order to eat. We only tried it the first day. Not worth the 5 minute walk. Locationwise, it was quite brilliant actually. You just walked out of the hotel, took 2 lefts, and followed Amstel, and you ended up in Rembrandtsplein after about 10-15 minutes, depending on how fast you walk. Przeczytaj więcej

"Hyggeligt og spartansk"
Ganske fint hotel til pengene. Rengøringen var i orden og der var rent på sengen hver dag, og sengene var gode at ligge i. Morgenmaden var meget begrænset men der var det basale til at starte dagen på. Hotellet ligger i et stille område hvor der er et par barer, butikker og en hyggelig lille park i kort gåafstand. Vi gik til alt fra hotellet og det […] føles ikke langt da der var så meget at kigge på på vejen. "Hotel Iris/Max - godt, men meget enkelt!"
Vi er tre veninder, som har været afsted fra torsdag-søndag. Vi havde forventet det værste af dette hotel efter at have læst om det, men vores forventning kom til skamme. Jo, hotellet er småt, der er stejle trapper mv. (det er der dog i hele Amsterdam!), men til den pris er det et rigtig godt hotel. Personalet var hjælpsomme, der blev gjort rent hver […] dag og beliggenheden er nær al off. transport. Hvis man forventer flot og fancy hotel, så er det ikke her, man skal booke overnatninger, men for nogle enkelte overnatninger, hvor man kun skal bruge værelset til at sove i, så er dette hotel rigtig godt! Morgenmaden er dog bestemt ikke gourmet; hvidt brød, lidt yoghurt, ost og nogle pølse-pålæg, kaffe, the og juice - that's it! Men igen; til prisen havde vi ikke forventet andet. Morgenmaden bliver serveret på nabohotellet Max - lige over gaden. Vi kan kun anbefale dette hotel til andre, som skal have nogle enkelte overnatninger tæt på byen (sporvogne og metro station ligger rigtig tæt på hotellet. 5 min. gågang) - og 20 min. på gåben til centrum. "Hotel Iris & Max in Amsterdam - avoid this "hotel""
Booked two twin rooms. One of the rooms smelled bad, smoke, and was very small and nothing like the picture in the ad, very narrow beds. The carpet on the staircase was not fresh. The toilet seat in the smelly room was too high up, you could barely reach the floor. No soap in the soap containers - fixed next day after asking at the reception. The shower […] floor filled with washing water that took forever before it emptied - fixed next day after asking at the reception. One bedside lamp had no bulb and we had to ask at least 4 times (different occations) before someone came and fixed it, they could have just given us one to put in ourselves, but wouldn't. When they finally put one in it didn't work. Then the electricity in the room stopped, probably due to a short circuit in the broken lamp. We had to tell them to change the fuse, they couldn't figure out that themselves. They were unprofessional and part of the staff was exceptionally unservice minded and even rude. Hotelli oli perussiisti ja sijainti oli varsin hyvä.. Keskustaan pääsi sujuvasti raitiovaunuilla ja esim isot museot olivat kaikki helpon kävelymatkan päässä.. Hotellin respa ja aamupala oli eri hotellissa mistä pieni miinus.. Loputtomien portaiden kiipeäminen hotelissa kävi samalla mukavasti kuntoilusta..
