"Rosli Guest House"
We stayed here for 2 nights in spring. The guest house was definitely value for money for it's location. Room(no. 811- third floor) was cosy n very clean. The guest house is ten to fifteen minute leisurely walk from the train station. The reception was across the road at the baseltor hotel but a phone call away should you need assistance. "Very Good"
The guest house was very good for the money. As everyone knows Suisse is very expensive so this offers a cheap alternative in a very good location. Friendly staff at the hotel. Floor boards above were a bit creaky, maybe ask for a top floor room if you think this would bother you. I'd stay there again for sure.

Overall is good, but some service is pricey~ for example, it costs 5CHF for a pot of hot water!!!

There were four of us traveling together and we booked a quadruple room, one double bed and 2 fold out armchairs. We were comfortable and were very happy with location. We were able to book at a reduced price the day before showing up so the rate was incredible for the area. We stayed 3 nights we were so happy. "Rösli Guest house in Luzern - don't go there!"
The Guest house was as such OK and sleepable condition. But our Quadruple room was changed in the last minute to a double room with child beds. They claimed to give us an "upgrade". The receptionist was very very arrogant. Acted as if he was doing us a favour by letting us stay one night. He wrote down our credit card details down to the 3 digit pin […] on the back side when he reserved the payment on check in. When we asked why he did that, he shouted that he needed his money if we would run away without paying!! Very ridiculous service. The room was too small for 4 people and the bathroom stank. Being so unfriendly, we didn't even bother to go and ask the hotel receptionist for any help in improving our living conditions. In short, never go to this place even though the location is decent. Lucerne was great & Rosli frontdesk was helpful with us. Their breakfast nice & facilities are accomodating and well kept.

"clean and central"
Was pleased when we arrived to our room. It was very central, only a short walk over the pretty brigde to city center, and about 5-10min walk to train station. -room was clean and sheets were nice. -if your room is facing the street make sure you close the window as it can be noisy. Room had ceiling fan to keep you cool. Dont count on using the pool […] unless it is very hot outside still seemed expensive for us, but that seems to be Switzerland in general. -if returning to Lucerne, would stay here again as it seemed to be the most reasonable hotel and it was very central. -breakfast is not included in the rooms Przeczytaj więcej

"Rosli Guest house value for money"
We stayed in what could be described as an attic room. Unfortunately it had recently been painted and the exposed wooden beams treated so the smell of paint or lacquer was fairly overpowering with windows closed. The room was spacious enough for three of us. There is no lift and the stairway is quite narrow so difficult to manoeuvre heavy luggage. I'm […] sure the smell will fade in time and if you're willing to overcome the narrow stairs this is a very good little guest house in an excellent location. All of the main attractions of Lucerne as well as lots of shops and restaurants were within walking distance even for the unfit. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. The business centre has a computer with free internet as well as typewriter and paper for correspondence in the parent hotel across the road. Also has an outdoor pool, which was a little chilly for our liking in May. You may be able to find cheaper accomodation but this guest house I think is fairly good value for what you get. "visiting luzern"
We were actually given an attic room in the main hotel located about a quarter of a block down the street. Parking was 25CF in a parking facility about 100 meters from the hotel. It was located just a block from the old town in Luzern so the location was great. Small room and tiny elevator but a reasonable price. It was worth the stay.

Greit overnattingssted i umiddelbar nærhet til gamlebyen i Luzern. Enkel og grei standard. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale. Bra overnatting til rimelig pris.

"Zetral in der Altstadt"
Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt, man kann zu Fuß los. Das Auto stellt man in eine überwachte, öffentliche Garage, die nicht allzu teuer ist. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr reichlich, gut gefallen hat uns, daß man im Wasserkocher Eier selbst genau richtig lang kochen kann. 滞在した部屋は、母屋の別の建物の三階であった。エレベータは無く、荷物の移動がつらかった。スイスに五泊したが、このホテルのみ朝食は有料だった。駅から遠く不便で、疲れた。

Wir haben zu viert in einem kleinen Zimmer mit Bad/Dusche übernachtet. Da wir sowieso nur zum Schlafen dort waren, reichte es völlig aus. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Lage genial. Das Einzige, was uns etwas gestört hat, waren abreisende Gäste, die morgens um 8 Uhr ihre Koffer die Treppe hinunter poltern liessen (es hat keinen Lift und das […] Haus ist sehr ringhörig). "Hotel im Zentrum von Luzern - Superlage"
Beim Schweizer Preis-Leistungsverhältnis muss man immer wieder schlucken. Auch wirkt der Stil auf uns recht konservativ. Aber gemessen daran waren wir mit dem Hotel rundherum zufrieden. An der Lage, Sauberkeit und dem Service gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Das Hotel Baslertor liegt sehr Zentral. 15 Min. Fussweg zum Bahnhof, 5 MIn. Fussgängerzone Altstadt. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet.
