Caring Hotel - Londyn

The hotel is bit off Paddington station if you are carrying large suitcases. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Biggest minus is that there is no elevator. The staircase is narrow so if you don’t feel strong enough you may find it difficult to get your luggage to upper floors.

Good breakfast with good proximity to Hyde Park. Clean rooms with nice hot shower. Free wifi is a plus too.

We stayed at the caring hotel for 6 nights and were satisfied with the room and cleanliness of the room, shared toilet and private shower. The staff at reception were were always friendly and very helpful, and breakfast staff were very attentive to our needs. We were assigned to the third floor which meant breaking into a little sweat to pull our luggage […] to our room. definitely a good place to stay. Room was small, as well as the bouble bed was very small. But still it was steady and ok. There were no warming in the toilet, so going to shower was quite freezing in winter-time. Luckily the room itself was warm. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok. And the location was good: 4 underground stations nearby, and peaceful part of the […] city. Very clean, decent sized rooms, quiet, Friendly and helpful staff - Very good value but not exactly luxury. I'd recommend it.

Excellent value for money. This is not a luxury hotel, but if you need somewhere clean and quiet to rest between excursions in London, for one of the cheapest prices I've seen, this is perfect. It is less than 15 minutes walk from Paddington Station (much less if you're not carrying heavy bags) and there are loads of local restaurants and convenience […] stores. There is no lift, and breakfast ( a good continental breakfast) was only served between 7:30 and 9, and the rooms were as small as you would expect in this area of London (tiny), but it was furnished to a much higher standard than I expected for the price (and it was clean!) and the staff were all very helpful. If you are looking for a luxurious break, you should stay some place more expensive, but this is definitely one of the best places to stay in its price range and location. Przeczytaj więcej

The Hotel suited are needs for the overnight stay. Convenient to Paddington Station; quiet but easy access to buses / taxis. Room was substantial for teh price we paid. thank you

This place is worse than your average hotel.. Our shower was broken in the room.. Even though we reported it, nobody neither took care of it nor put us in the new room.. I wouldnt recommend it..

Nice quiet place, bigger room than expected. Very friendly ladies arranged everything in the breakfast room. Breakfast was OK. The hotel is situated between 2 underground stations, Lancaster Gate and Queensway, and there is no more than 5 minutes walk to the one you prefer. 2 minutes away you have Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. Great choice, great service, only drawback is that you have no elevator so if you have a huge lugage you'll need to carry it up....

We stayed here for one night - very comfortable stay and within walking distance of several tube stations - around 10-15 mins walk from Paddington station. We stayed on the third floor - so you need to be prepared for lots of stairs - and it does go up to a fourth floor! Very presentable and good for short breaks.

Great, cheap hotel very near paddington. Notthe ritz but you wouldn't expect it for the price - comfortable, clean and quiet.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. I was only there for one night to see a show in the Royal Albert Hall and this hotel was perfect for this purpose. Room was spacious with large windows, bathroom was small but clean. Staff were friendly and gave helpful information about the surrounding area. This really was an excellent hotel, the best we have stayed at in London (from 4 visits). This may be important to you - the nearest underground is Paddington, which is around an 8 minute walk away.

I have stayed at several cheap(ish) London hotels near the major train stations, including another near Paddington, and was extremely impressed with the Caring Hotel. Sure, it's got tiny rooms and no lift, but for the price (and in comparison to similar hotels of the same price), I was highly impressed with both the facilities and service. My room even […] had a shower, something I was not expecting. The toilet was literally across the hall, and seemed to be only shared with two other rooms. The hotel is on a quiet street, so even leaving the window open at night, I was not bothered. The continental breakfast includes fruit and cereal as well as freshly made toast and hot coffee. The front desk staff and the kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. Next time I need to spend a night or two in London near the train station, I will definitely return to the Caring Hotel. I stayed with my Mom whose in her early 60s. I'm 30. Almost everything was absolutely excellent: clean, helpful front desk, great condition, etc. The ONLY negatives: bad TV receiption and the walls and ceilings are thin. It got very loud. Otherwise, outstanding considering it's a 2 star with shared baths.

got a triple room at street level. Was quiet street, good service, breakfast included. I would go again. Very good and value for money.

Very convenient for Paddington, underground and buses to sights. Friendly, polite staff; clean, if little hot, room (but fan was provided). Bit noisy as room was at front of hotel and also right by reception, but in fairness had asked for ground floor room, so that is what we got! Will definitely stay again and recommend to others. Stayed at this hotel on a Friday and Saturday night. It is in a quiet location about a 15 minute walk to several underground stations and a variety of bars and eateries. The Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean but basic, OK for a short stay. The breakfast was continental, again basic but OK. 24hour reception was very handy and always polite & helpful. Rooms were kept spotless and breakfast was delicious!

Although the hotel itself is very clean, the rooms are TINY. I booked a twin room and didn't know that there was no bathroom in the room! Shared bathroom was just outside door though. If you stay here and want a bathroom of your own, make sure you specify this in the booking - or you too will get a room with just a tiny sink. The hotel is overpriced […] at 74 pounds a night. we found this hotel clean and tidy and at a right price for our weekend. our only complaint was the rip off taxi prices when the hotel booked it for you.

This is a v Good 2 Star hotel, great and quiet location , v well maintained, v. clean, and with personable staff. Not a hotel to lounge about in - but great for a reasonably priced , well located place to sleep. Breakfast also included - good basic continental breakfast - would be a great basic breakfast with decent coffee !

The hotel was fine in all respects except that I did not have a toilet in the room's en-suite - only a shower and washbasin. The communal bathroom which housed the toilet was often engaged. In this class of hotel (2-star) most other London hotels have an en-suite toilet.

Very nice hotel, very clean and friendly. Be aware there are lots of stairs though. We got a room without a toilet, but there was a toilet just across from our door, so no problem. The other bathroom on our floor had a bathtub which was fantastic for a good hot soak after a long day of sightseeing.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, reasonable rates. Good location if you are happy to make use of the tube as you are in short walking distance of a few stations. If you are looking for a budget hotel for a short stay in London, this does the job nicely. I would stay there again.

Dejligt lille hotel til en billig pris. Personalet var yderst venlige og fin morgenmad, som er inkluderet i prisen. Vi valgte værelse med toilet på gangen for at spare penge, men der var kun 4 værelser om at dele to toiletter som blev rengjort flere gange om dagen og det var helt private toiletter. Beliggenhed i gåafstand af City og kun 5 min til forskellige […] metro stationer. kiosk go restaurent lige rundt om hjørnet og park kun 2 min. gang. Meget positiv oplevelse i stille og fint kvarter. Rolige omgivelser, ingen trafikkstøy. Husk adapter, hotellet hadde ingen til låns. Avgift for oppbevaring av bagasjen!

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, freies WLAN, 24h Rezeption ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit allem was dazugehört, saubere Zimmer! Alles in allem ein Super Hotel für einen städtetrip!

accueil un peu froid et peu serviable (pas un mot en français) mais l’hôtel est assez bien placé (10 min en bus de l'hypercentre), propre et calme. La chambre est assez petite et avec WC sur le palier mais le lit est confortable. Le petit déjeuner est bien également.

Vi var der i 8 dager og trivdes veldig godt. Først og fremst beliggenheten, i en rolig sidegate og veldig nær transport og Hyde Park. Det gikk bra å dele bad med to andre rom. Rimelig pris. Rommet var lite, men praktisk og komfortabelt. Vi likte nærmiljøet veldig godt og følte oss hjemme.

Hotellet ligger i ett mycket lugnt och trevligt område. Personalen är mycket vänlig och har på alla sätt varit tillmötesgående. Men hotellrummet låg i källaren, var rymligt, men hade en ofräsch heltäckningsmatta. Rummet hade förvisso fönster, men frostade så man inte kunde se igenom och när man öppnade fönstret så var där bara en liten ingård på ca […] 3-4 kvm, så det gick inte att se himmelen. Badrummet var nytt och fint, men svinkallt! Ventiler som inte gick att stänga gick rakt ut i den 5-10 gradiga utomhusluften. Frukosten var väl fattig. Te eller kaffe, 4 olika juicer, 4 olika kornflakes som det bara fanns mjöl till, 3 olika bröd med marmelad eller ost till pålägg och gröna hårdkokta ägg. Men även frukostpersonalen var väldigt trevlig. Närheten till tunnelbanorna var knappt 10 min gångväg och runt dessa ligger både affärer och restauranger. Vi bor gärna i området igen, men kommer nog välja ett annat hotell nästa gång. Przeczytaj więcej

Séjour assez sympa, deux nuits, tout c'est bien passé, l'hôtel est chouette, à 5-10 minutes à pieds de la station Bayswater sur la circle line qui permet d'aller vers pas mal de coin touristique en quelques minutes. Le seul point négatif est la douche dans la chambre dont le jet d'eau n'est pas super, mais il y a toujours la possibilité d'aller dans […] la salle de bain commune sur le pallier qui contient elle une baignoire. Les toilettes sont communes aussi ce qui peut être gênant, mais le tout est très propre et très bien entretenu. Le personnel est très accueillant, très gentil et se font un plaisir de répondre à toutes vos questions même si vous ne parlez pas très bien anglais. Juste la chambre est petite, donc si vous avez prévu de passer du temps dans celle-ci, on se sent vite à l'étroit. Et il n'y a pas de coffre dans la chambre pour ranger vos affaires de valeurs (nous les avions laissé dans la chambre pour notre part et n'avons pas subi le moindre vol ou autre). Hotelli on ihan mukava ja aamupala sisältyi hintaan, mikä oli hyvä lisä. Hotelli huone oli ihan ok, jos hakee hotellia missä vain nukkuu yöt. Yhteinen suihku ja vessa käytävässä ei haitannut, koska oli ihan huoneen vieressä ja melkein aina vapaa, kun sinne oli tarvetta. Sijainti oli suuri lisä hotellille, joka on kahden metroaseman vieressä.

Endnu en fordel ved hotellet er, at receptionen er døgnåben så man kan gå ud om aftenen. Første morgen 'kørte vi på dansk tid¨ ved en fejl og kom derfor 40 minutter for tidligt ned til morgenmad uden vi lagde mærke til det. Det var dog intet problem og de var super søde ved os i køkkenet selv om vi var alt for tidligt på den.

Très bonne adresse, calme, propre, personnel souriant.. Un petit reproche cependant : le petit déjeuner n'est servi que jusqu'à 9h, ou 9h15 le week end, c'est un peu tôt quand on est en vacances. Bon rapport qualité prix, Hyde Park à 2 pas...
