This is not a 4star hotel It is ok but not that good. I thought it had been remodeled this January but it didnot look that way. The elevator is tiny!
"Wonderful Staff, Great Value for Money/Near Metro"
The staff were all incredibly friendly, knew alot and extremely helpful. Hotel was in safe location, 3 blocks from Foch metro and then 2 stops and you were in Old Lyon or 15 minute straight shot walk. Room was clean, good size, door lock was temperamental (old fashioned key lock) but you just had to finesse it alittle. Breakfast was good but alittle […] pricey & would've been nice to add another protein other than ham for the price. "Nice Hotel"
The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and it was only about a 15 minute walk to the downtown area. Would definitely recommend!
"Lovely Hotel"
The Roosevelt was very clean, modern and the rooms were large and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The only thing to consider is the location. There are very few restaraunts or bars in the area so be prepared to walk the 10 - 15 mins toward the river to find somewhere to eat.

"hotel roosevelt lyon"
The hotel is extremely well located only a few minutes to the centre of town, would stay there again. The young lady who assisted me was very friendly and extremely beautiful!
"Not luxurious, but comfortable. Great location."
The hotel is in a great location, close to metro stops and little grocery stores. My room was comfortable and quite good for the money (double bed, decent private bathroom, windows that opened, climate control). Although there was no writing desk, there was an area where a chair could be pulled up in front of the window for writing. The room would have […] been cramped for a couple (I was travelling alone), but for the price, the space was what I expected. Problems: 1) Broken lock: The front desk is only manned by one person, so that when they get busy you will have to wait. On checking in I got locked out of my room because the lock was broken and my key wouldn't work. The front desk was so busy that they just kept sending me up to my room (third floor) with different keys to try. Eventually the front desk attendant came up with me and figured out how to force the door to open, but it was a frustrating experience. 2) Inconsistent wireless internet: Only worked about half of the time during my stay. Once they had someone fix it, it worked pretty well, however. 3) Lack of north american power adaptors: Although they had some power converters for UK travelers, they didn't have any north american adaptors, so it will be best to bring your own. Note, however, the television cord could be removed and fit into my Macbook power brick. This worked nicely, once I discovered it. 4) Expensive breakfasts: I had breakfast at the hotel every morning, which was nice enough (pastry, coffee, juice, cheese, yogurt, breads were available). What I didn't realize was that they charge 14 Euros per breakfast. In my opinion, this was not worth the money at all. "Roosevelt Hotel"
The TV did not work. My door lock was broken as to everytime I would leave it would take at least 30 mins to get the door lock to open. The front desk managers key would not work.. i complained over and over.. they would not fix it

Je n'y retournerai pas. Quand nous sommes arrivés à 21h15 dans notre chambre qui est minuscule, nous n'avions pas d'eau chaude, il a fallu attendre une heure pour prendre une douche. Le buffet petit-déjeuner est digne d'un deux étoiles, on peut difficilement se servir quand il y a une personne tellement c'est restreint. Des clients ont du débarrasser […] une table eux-même pour pouvoir s installer. En faisant le check out, nous n'avons même pas eu le droit à un "désolé" pour le manque d'eau chaude. le lit grince dès qu'on fait un mouvement ... imaginez vous une nuit de noces la tête des voisins !!! le petit déjeuner en chambre est à peine copieux pour le prix ...

Hotel bien situé. Problème de chauffage très chaud dans la chambre, pas de clim. Petit déjeuner cher, pour le prix on devrait avoir du vrai café, mais pas un distributeur. Personnel agréable et très réactif. (Plus de pain à 9h au petit déjeuner, la jeune fille s'est empressée de se rendre à la boulangerie pour faire le réapprovisionnement.

très bon rapport qualité-prix. accueil sympathique et personnel très serviable. idéalement situé à 10 min à pied de la Part-Dieu et de la presqu'île. parking fermé sous l'hôtel

C'est un bel hôtel qui vaut largement ses 3 étoiles, avec de grandes chambre doubles, propres, belle salle de bain avec baignoire. Plutôt bien placé et calme, la mention revient au petit déjeuner! En effet dû au manque de clarté du site hotels.com, je ne comptais pas sur le petit-déjeuner compris dans ma réservation ("compris" dans le titre, puis au […] cours de la réservation "non-compris"...), c'est donc une bonne surprise quand on me l'annonce à mon arrivée. J'ai pu choisir de le prendre dans ma chambre, en remplissant un formulaire à laisser sous la porte la veille. Un large choix de boissons chaudes, set de viennoiseries, salade de fruits, jus de fruits, tartines, quantité et qualité au rendez-vous! Hôtel vieillot et sans grand intérêt. Je pensais qu'il serait plus proche de la Part-DIeu. D'autres part, les chambres sont décevantes pour le prix et j'ai pas trouvé l'accueil très aimable. dans la même zone, je vous recommande plutôt le Novotel la Part-Dieu

Quelques points faibles pour le prix. Chambre 49, Supérieur double. Petit déjeuné complet mais pas exceptionnel. Café en distributeur automatique, nous rappelant fortement celui que l'on pourrait boire sur une aire de repos autoroutier. Clim de la chambre bruyante et inefficace. (Mauvaise emplacement) Salle de bain sans ventilation, carrelage d'un […] autre temps, laissant paraître des joints noirci par le temps. Hotellet lå tæt på centrum, og i et roligt kvarter. God garagemulighed. Værelset havde dog en særdeles irriterende placering af toiletpapirholderen. Ellers var vi meget tilfredse. Søde , venlige og hjælpsomme medarbejdere.

"Très bien situé et très confortable"
^Hôtel très calme, très bien situé (proche de tout : Part-Dieu, parc de la Tête d'Or, Presqu'ile...) et très confortable. Un vrai 3 étoiles, avec un excellent petit-déjeuner. Seul bémol : l'insonorisation entre les chambres et les couloirs des étages.
