The stay was excellent. The staff was help full and were very pleasant. The site was beautiful and even though it was VERY close to SEATAC the planes taking off frequently was not irritatingly loud. You could see the planes taking off. The hotel had a "living room" where there were complimentary malted milk balls,ice cream, water, and chips. This was […] a surprise and made the stay nice. Did not leave the property for a full day. The rooms are small but the bathroom is large. The tub size was a GREAT!!!! EVERYTHING WAS JUST RIGHT! SLEPT REALLY WELL AND WE ARE NOT GOOD SLEEPERS. LOVED THE GARDENS. bREAKFAST WAS REALLY GOOD! THE STAFF WAS GREAT. FULL OF DETAILS. WILL NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE IN SEATTLE.

The staff is friendly and the setting is nice, but don't confuse this with a five star hotel. I stayed here because of the high ratings and great rate, but guests should be aware there are some flaws. First, they only offer queen sized beds, no kings for some reason even though the rooms are large. The hotel is about a mile from SeaTac, and even though […] the noise is not overpowering, you can often hear the planes taking off, especially in the morning. The building is wood framed and staying on a lower floor you can hear the running/jumping of guests above you at 5:45 AM. There is no pool or hot tub. There is no view. The continental breakfast is okay and consists of a dried cereal, yogurt, bagels and lox, and good oatmeal. They offer free snacks and ice cream (really nice touch). We loved this hotel. It was upscale in all respects. Especially loved the snacks in the lounge area--chocolate covered raisins and malt balls no less in addition to Hagen Das Ice cream cups and yogurt and string cheese. The complimentary breakfast is the best ever!!! Bagels and lox included! It had great I5 freeway access. Parking is $12 per day […] and that is not mentioned anywhere so be prepared to add that to your bill. However, the parking was convenient and secure and almost everywhere in Seattle charges for parking. Note: they do not support Apple so we had a problem accessing their server with our IPAD. The 4G for the phone worked great but the wireless for the IPAD did not work. Their tech guy did his best and finally decided that there must be something on our IPAD preventing it. However, we talked to another person in the snack lounge area who said he could get on from there but had to retry multiple times to get onto their server and could only get it in that location. We hope they will eventually invest in some Apple support because it is such a nice hotel in every other respect. They did adjust our bill reducing our parking charges to acknowledge the inconvenience we experienced with the wireless access so just go knowing that you might have to get your wireless support off grounds. I will go back again and just rest for a few days. I loved discovering this place.

The hotel and staff at Cedarbrook are fantastic. The rooms are clean and confortable. The staff are friendly and are always available to assist, They go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a very enjoyable family get away.

Beds are a little firm and the pillows are big. But everything else is excellent. I would definitely stay again and recommend this lodge to everyone.

Cedarbrook Lodge is a beautiful, serene place to stay in Seattle. Loved everything about the hotel and restaurant. The rooms were clean and up to date. The free snacks were appreciated after a long day of touring. The only negative thing for vacationers was the distance and time it took to get to the city. A long rail ride. This was just as good as it sounded on the website. It was so convenient to both the SeaTac airport and I-5 which made getting around easy. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail beyond the expected.

This hotel doesn't feel nearly like a hotel as a semi-secluded lodge. It's quite surprising, given that it's in the middle of town. They manage it through good landscaping, good location, and the green belt behind them. The grounds were gorgeous, full of blossoming trees, lovely native plants and grasses, and a pond with mallards. There are nice benches […] and paths situated throughout the grounds. We were able to check in a couple of hours early. They offered us fresh hot spiced cider, made from fresh apples. It was a nice warm welcome on a cold day. They started charging for parking a few months ago, which was probably overdue. Parking is at a premium around the airport. That said, the price wasn't bad, and they let us park for a while after we checked out. The continental breakfast is first-rate. The breads and bagels were high quality and flavorful and fresh. The cream cheese was a good quality one, not the cheap grainy type usually found in continental breakfasts, if they have it at all. They had delectable smoked salmon out, with capers on the side. The salmon was my favorite part. They also had a few types of sliced salami, boiled eggs, cereals, pastries, and oatmeal. For the oatmeal, there were bowls of toppings ranging from pecans to craisins. The oatmeal was a little bit old by the time I got to it, but it had the texture of the real thing, not instant oats. The coffee was good. Various juices were available, but I didn't try them. They do a Sunday brunch for some holidays, so keep an eye out for the continental breakfast closing early on Sunday so they can prepare for brunch. They didn't give us advance warning that they were closing it an hour early, but we were there plenty early anyway. The bar opens relatively early and has a cozy atmosphere and a pool table. We didn't have lunch or dinner at the restaurant, but we've heard it's good. Everything is fresh and from within 100 miles, with only a few exceptions for things like seafood. Beautiful northwest flavor hotel. Service and immediate surroundings are great. Super close to the airport but tucked into a neighborhood so you would never know once there. Great exercise room and deliciuos food at restaurant. healthy continental breakfast included. All around awesome for the money

The Cedarbrook Lodge is the perfect hotel for a traveler who is looking for something different from the big chains' standard business offerings. The hotel is comfortable and also stylish (something that doesn't always work functionally in some trendy hotels). The little touches like communal lodge living rooms with complimentary snacks; smoked lox […] at the complimentary breakfast; and one of the nicest gyms I've seen makes this a hotel I will definitely visit again. While I was originally reluctant to book it due to the fact that it is 14 miles south of Seattle's downtown, I eventually came to appreciate the quiet location and beautiful grounds at the end of each busy day. The dining options are limited, but if you have a rental car that should not be a problem. I highly recommend this location.

Very relaxing environment after a long trip.

A very cool and unique hotel. The restaurant is small and the food prices a bit high. The morning continental breakfast is super. The people were outstanding, our meeting room a delight. Everyone smiled. I told them I would be back.

first off, what a beautiful hotel.. the location is perfect if you need to be close to SEA airport. secondly, free ice cream, cheese, water, and yogurt! wow! third, you are so close to the airport, yet you feel like you have stepped into a lodge far away from anywhere. only thing bad is the rooms are kinda small, but it's ok.

Though the nightly rate was a bit more than other hotels in the area, I took a chance on the high reviews and was not disappointed. The hotel was easy to find and extremely close to the airport (but not too close--the well maintained grounds make you feel like you aren't in the middle of it all). The room was clean and well designed. The complementary […] snack bar located in each building of the complex was a nice touch. The breakfast was different than your usual continental breakfast (smoked salmon for breakfast--nice touch!), and quite nice for being included in the rate. Among the hotels next to the airport, I thought it was by far the best deal. Really cozy, really warm, feels more like a mountain resort than an airport hotel. Wonderful place to stay! You feel right at home with a "Pantry" and livingroom on each floor and a fabulous boutique restaurant and bar in the hotel. Gorgeous grounds and a walking path. This hotel was the perfect choice for a layover in Seattle. Convenient shuttle service, friendly staff, snacks, and lovely breakfast in the morning before flying out again. Only wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel.

Other than a silly charge to self park your car, very nice business hotel, quiet, good breakfast included, free wifi , much better than the chain hotels. Will stay again.

What attracted me to Cedarbrook was it's environment. Although it is located close to SeaTac Airport we seldom heard any airplane noise when we were inside. Bring your own food. The restaurant had only a vegan soup (cauliflower) and a green unadorned salad, When I asked for some options, I was offered a chicken sandwich without the chicken. I had to go down the street to a local dinner. Food aside, this has wonderful setting and is a really lovely hotel.

Friendly,customer-driven service, great restaurant, spa-like feel with unusually deep and comfortable bathtub for a real soak (appreciated the high quality shower products too). Very close to the airport - 10 minutes max - and surrounded by green yards, which would add to the peacefulness in nice weather months. Courtesy Van was a comfy upscale SUV […] type.. very personal feeling. Great directions on website to get to the courtesy van pick up... never seen this on other hotel sites and it really does eliminate one small but important stressor when arriving into Seattle after a very long flight. If you have a very tight layover in Seattle, saving a few bucks by going to one of the more conventional hotels on International drive may make sense... This is an amazing little treasure - only minutes from SeaTac but miles away from oridnary - great emenities including an upgraded continental breakfast. Lots of extras like a fridge in the sitting area with water, yogurt, chocolate malted milk balls, etc. GREAT staff and GREAT stay - most comfortable pillows in the world!

We booked this as a layover hotel (late flight and early checkout). It is so much more than we had expected and we would like to return in the future so we can stay longer! We enjoyed the atmosphere very much but one issue here was that we had to make a full journey to get to our room. Walked to the end of the first bldg., got into the 2nd bldg., took the elevator down one floor, walked out of the 2nd bldg., walked along the garden path. got into the third bldg., took the elevator up one floor or down ...I got confused! […] and finally, walked to the room. Beautiful campus was converted to a hotel from a corporate retreat center. Good restaurant; well designed public spaces; guest lounges in each of the accommodation wings have fruit and snacks, refrigerator, microwave. And though it's so convenient to Sea-Tac, it feels like a country retreat. Recommended!

Overall very nice. I had one of the best burgers of all time from the hotel restaurant. My only complaint was how long it took for the shuttle to pick me up at the airport. I wish they would have sent the driver while I was picking up my bags, so we both met at the pick up "island" about the same time.

I love the Cedarbrook and always stay here when I can afford to. This was probably the 5th time I've stayed. PROS: Close to airport and I-5, excellent service, great vibe, clean, well appointed rooms, quiet, peaceful surroundings, excellent breakfast. CONS: There is not a lot within walking distance so if you want a hotel in the middle of things, this […] isn't it. Also, they started charging 12.00 a day for parking, which was a charge that I didn't have to pay the first four times I stayed. I'm very disappointed in this. I wish they would just roll the price of parking into the cost of a stay rather than charging separately. Other than that, I highly recommend this property for the feeling of getting away from it all while still being close to the city (about 15 minutes away from downtown without traffic) and close to the airport. Arrived in the rain was pleased to see a valet with a stack of large umbrellas. I got out, he came over to the car in his rain coat and watched me unload my own bags in my suiit jacket, while it was pouring rain on me. Took my keys and I ran into the hotel dripping wet . Everything else about the experience was top notch. Valet, wtf?

I absolutely loved this hotel. We booked it because it was near the airport and had a good rating. We arrived much later than planned and had to leave pretty early, but now I want to go back and stay longer. There is a baby grand piano perched up above. Each building has it's own lounge area with free snacks available 24 hours.
