Great location if you are okay with walking. We managed to walk to Marienplatz one day from our hotel and to the Olympic park the next. Also just two blocks to the U-bahn. Parking was easy in a secure underground lot. Breakfast was good too. The big problem was that it was WAY too HOT in the hotel! Even with all the heat off in our room, it was too […] hot to sleep, and we had a room with AC, but they disable it in the winter. Internet are no good.

It's not to far from the center (15 walking minutes), staff is very friendly and professional, room is clean and has all it needs, just a very old fashioned look. Great restaurant but only open in the evening

The room was pretty small but convinient. The breakfast was great!

-Buffet breakfast is heavenly. High quality delicious food! Love everything: sausage, yogurt and fruit, multigrain bread, many kinds of cheese and ham, cake, and the nice latte machine! The best I've ever had so far. We left memorable impression of German food since it was the first time we visit Germany. -wifi is not working sometimes. -updated room […] which is comfy. Didn't expect the bed being a full size bed instead of 2 combined twin size beds, and 2 single comforts which we weren't used to it. Could be a bit chilly at night. The hotel is a little out of the way, but is of a good overall standard. Rates are reasonable and the breakfast good. The staff are knowledgeable pleasant, helpful and spoke good english. Hotel general area decoration was simple but clean and presentable, the bedroom condition was similar, although the bathroom was a little dated.

Once we figured out we could take the trolley to a stop closer to our room, it was great (walked from the main train station the first time, it was quite a haul!) The neighborhood, was so/so There wasn't much around for restaurants and what not.. so not the best for that.

Large room & bathroom (3 people) for a European hotel. Can't beat free beer on the breakfast buffet. About 2 blocks from a tram stop.

Traveled at the beginning of August with my mother and aunt and stayed in a triple room. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from a tram station that runs directly to the Hauptbahnhof. Check-in, etc. is very easy and efficient so you won't spend much time in the hotel lobby itself. Our room was downstairs on the far side of the hotel courtyard and was […] basic, clean and comfortable. Two of the single beds were put together as a double bed but I was able to pull them away and the staff didn't mind. We were using the hotel as a base and going out during the days. The single bad thing about the room was that there was no air conditioning and we were too warm in the 26 degree heat (we're Irish so we're not used to it! :L ) We spent 4 nights there and got breakfast (free) every morning. The breakfast contains fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, milk, fresh fruit, fruit salads, jams, cooked breakfast (scrambled/boiled egg, sausages), cold meats, cheeses, humus (etc.), a large selection of breads, cake, croissants, toast, butter, coffee, tea (black, green, camomile,etc) and anything else I've left out! You could take as much of these as you wanted and they were absolutely delicious! Breakfast ran from 6:30 to 10:30 so this was very convenient for going out on tours. We had dinner once in the hotel and it was good food but the menu did not suit one of our travelers. You could always eat out in the town and come back to the hotel or there is a supermarket just down the road from the nearest tram stop and we got lovely, fresh food there. There is no entertainment at the hotel (so you will have to make your own!) but the court yard had a lovely area for sitting out and having a drink/food. Any of the members of staff we came across were very frindly and helpful. The receptionist always smiled at us and the barman was up for a chat and a bit of craic! :) We will definitely use this hotel again when in Munich and would recommend it to a friend. The Hotel was too buzy and staff at the reception were not very accommodating with regards to any information about transport to city town centre etc.

Great hotel with parking garage and breakfast (full selection of food).

Great location just a couple blocks to the bus that takes you to the sights in the Pedestrian Zone of Munich. We had a lovely triple room, spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. Great location, close but not too close to main rail station, easy access via tram and Ubahn. Very nice breakfast. WiFi signal very poor if you´re in the back building of the hotel, but excellent in public areas.

My college son arrived at the Europa after taking a red eye flight from Philadelphia. He arrived at the Europa at approx 11 am and the staff got him right into a room even though check in was not for another 4 hours.

2nd stay there. would highly recommend! stayed in a standard dbl room both times. close to everything! great big bathroom with big tub and shower definitely a plus for american travelers as it is hard to find more than a shower in most european hotels. restaurant and lounge were really nice too! they were under construction last time i was there.

We were very pleased to get a room at the Europa during the busy Oktoberfest time. The rates were very competitive, and included wifi, parking, and breakfast all of which were very expensive optional extras at other hotels in the area. The room was very clean, and comfortable. The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was excellent, and although […] we didn't have time to try the restaurant for other meals, the menu looked very interesting. VERY PLEASANT STAY! CENTRALLY LOCATED TO ALL SIGHTS! MARIENPLATZ / TAL / ENGLISH GARDEN PARK AND OLYMPIC PARK ALL APPROX. 20 MINUTE PLEASANT WALK. ALSO, PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS, GROCERY AND DRUG STORES PRETTY MUCH RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOORS! WE ALSO FOUND A CINEMA THAT PLAYS CURRENT MOVIES IN ENGLISH AROUND THE BLOCK! STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT. […] THE ONLY PROBLEM DURING OUR STAY WAS THE LOBBY AND RESTAURANT WAS BEING REMODELED AND THEY START WORK EARLY. This hotel is being renovated - which we did not know about when we booked the non-changeable rate. It was very loud very early in the morning. As well there is no air conditioning - which we encountered at other hotels in Europe- however the other places all had table or floor fans in all the rooms. This one did not and when I asked for one they said […] they didn't have any left! Our stay was so uncomfortable - the room temperature was unbearable and the noise level annoying! We were only there 2 nights at the very end of our 16 night vacation and this hotel was the very worst of the bunch - really not a 4 star and should be avoided especially in the summer months. This hotel is located about a twenty minute walk to the City Centre. The hotel staff were helpful for directions and any information you needed. Wir haben unseren Eltern zum 60. Geburtstag einen Aufenthalt in München geschenkt und uns dabei Ur das Hotel Europa Munich entschieden. Meine Eltern waren sehr zufrieden. Hotel ottimo, camera al di sopra delle aspettative e breakfast soddisfacente.Segnale wi fi buono. Inoltre si raggiunge il centro tranquillamente a piedi in 10-15 min oppure si può prendere il tram se non si ha voglia di camminare. Parcheggio al coperto per la macchina al costo di 10 euro al giorno

Ottima struttura, ben tenuta e pulita. Prima colazione con ampia scelta e di qualità. Posizione semicentrale, ben servita da mezzi pubblici, con punti di interesse facilmente raggiungibili anche a piedi.

I.O. neu renoviert, Frühstückraum ist klein für alle Gäste. Frühstückbuffet olala.

Helt greit og helt normal 4-* standard, verken mer eller mindre. Pluss for bra og rikholdig frokost med musserende vin til. Beliggenheten er litt utenfor sentrum, men t-bane rett utenfor. Et helt greit hotell uten de store overraskelsene. Ta buss/tog fra flyplassen - med taxi blir det dyrt.

Nach vielen Aufenthalten in München bin ich von der Qualität und dem Preis/ Leistungsverhaeltnis des Hotel Europa mehr als begeistert. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr kompetent und haben all meine kleinen Schwierigkeiten und Wünsche schnell und freundlich für mich gelöst. Sehr gute Lage da nahe der Innenstadt , U-Bahn und Tram in der nähe. Sehr gutes Morgenbuffett und freundliches Personal. Das Hotel kann man nur weiter Empfehlen.

Preis/Leistung ist gut. Sehr schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer und Hotel jedoch nicht 4 Sterne Standard..

Hotel ottimo sotto tutti punti di vista: posizione (in 15 min. a piedi si raggiunge il centro), colazione (abbondante e di ottima qualità), tipologia delle camere (avevamo chiesto una camera a tre letti e finalmente, a differenza di altri alberghi, il terzo letto era un vero letto e non una brandina per bambini). Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße, aber Zimmer nach hinten sind sehr ruhig. Zum Löwenbräu Keller sind es nur ca. 300 Meter, aber das war's dann. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist einem 4 Sterne Hotel entsprechend. Das Frühstück deckt die allgemeinen deutschen Anspüche voll ab. Mit dem Motorrad kann man kostenfrei vor der Tür parken.

Erinomainen aamupala, erittäin siistit ja vastikään remontoidun oloiset sekä ilmastoidut huoneet, hyvä auton parkkeerausmahdollisuus hotellin omassa autotallissa, helpot ajoyhteydet valtateille, kävelymatka keskustaan, mukava ja rauhallinen istuskelubaari alakerrassa.

meget fint hotel. Uhyre velholdt med alle nødvendige faciliteter. Hotellet havde også en god restaurant hvor vi spiste glimrende. Morgenmaden var overdådig. Venligt personale.

Läget helt ok då det var nära till spårvagn. Varierande vänlighet hos personalen. Internet fungerade inte. Frukosten var ok. Rummen var fräscha och fina, Vi hade problem med att avloppet i vasken luktade illa, men när vi sa till om det var de mycket snabba på att fixa till det.
