We just wanted a nice bathroom, clean room and nice pool for a day in Athens after using shared boat showers and toilets for a week. For the price, this place was amazing! I think we paid slightly more because my girlfriend liked the pictures of the bathroom, and we were extremely happy with the ambiance, the cleanliness, and the comfort of the room. The […] pool was very tiny but the sundeck was nice. The food and drinks at the pool were very expensive but quite tasty. There was no real view but it was about a 6 Euro cab ride to the Acropolis. The cost of this room far out weights its value. It's a business hotel, clean, basic, easy taxi ride to meetings. Not for vacationers, the pool is tiny and the bar area is basically the check in lobby.

My wife and I and 2 of our chldren age 16 (daughter) and 9 (son) were in Athens to vist family. This is something we have being doing regularly for the last few years. We are reasonably familiar with the city and when planning the trip this time we were after a little affordable luxury in a convenient , safe location and have to say our choice was spot […] on. The children loved the hotel, their room, the service and all the little extras provided and so did we. We honestly could not find fault with the hotel. If you are inclined to go into the city you could take a leisurly walk, all downhill, via the old Olympic stadium and Temple of Zeus (which we did) ending up in Plaka or you could get the tube from the nearby station, a short walk away and be in the town centre in 5 minutes. My wife and I thought the hotel was excellent and good value for money . We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food but the restaurants, decor and menus looked great and I am sure the food would be too. Taxis were always on hand at the entrance and although public transport is excellent and very cheap, taxi fares are nowhere near as expensive as in the UK and if there are a few of you they are a realistic alternative to public transport. The hotel is clean and convenient to the metro which is about three blocks away. Not located in a shopping district and choices of fine dining within walking distance is limited, however; you can get on the metro and be where the action is within two stops. The staff was helpful and tried to make your stay pleasant. The rooms are quiet and the air conditioning […] system excellent (something to think about when in Athens in the hote summer months). A big negative for this hotel is the charge for Internet access - 15Euro a day per device. If you have a laptop and a iPhone they count as two and you will be speinding 30Euro per day. A second negative comment is that their breakfast buffet is very basic and bad. Our stay at the Crowne Plaza entirely met our expectations. The room was lovely and spacious, bed comfortable, high quality sheets and comforter, everything was luxurious, particularly the bathroom. The hotel staff was very helpful and directed us to a delicious family owned restaurant in the neighborhood, away from the tourist gimmicks. Nice area. Metro close-by with short ride to downtown or to/from airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very expensive, so recommend eating out.

Clean rooms. Gym is small (almost non-existent). Pool is tiny (not good for swimming, just for dipping in to cool off). Staff was always rude and always seemd to be annoyed even when checking in or paying bills. Easy access to Metro, but not easy to find the first time.

Good location close to city centre,and very close to Conference Centre. Courteous, helpful and professional staff Compact hotel for such a high star rating, but room above average size and both well decorated and designed. This was a very nice hotel, clean and reasonably priced. It is a 10 to 20 minute cab ride from the tourist and general 'evening out' parts of the city.

Jeg syntes det var nogenlunde. fornær at de reklamere med resturant på 7 sal Den var lukket alle dage. Poolen var lukket. Der var kun en kedelig resturant i stuen. hvor de ikke vidste om de gad serverer. Den sidste dag vi var der fik jeg madforgiftning. Og da vi skulle sove begyndte de at spille utrolig højt musik kl. 01.00 om natten da glassene begyndte […] at klirrer ringede min mand ned og fik besked på de holdt fest og vi bare kunne få et nyt rum. det gider man ikke kl. 1 om natten. de stoppede kl. 3 så da vi skulle rejse var vi helt skæve i ansigtet over ikke at kunne sove. det burde de ha vist på forhånd da vi tjekkede ind Przeczytaj więcej

Avons réservé une chambre familiale pour 4 personnes. Elle était superbe, très design, spacieuse, avec 2 grands lits doubles à la literie ultra moelleuse ! Le prix par Internet était plus de 4 fois moins cher que le prix habituel. Hotel pas en plein centre mais à 15 minutes à pied de Plaka et de l'Acropole (ou à quelques minutes en taxi, 10 euros environ […] le trajet). Quartier résidentiel calme. Crown plaza Hotel Clean rooms, and nicely located close to public transport, this hotel looks like what you expect a 5 star establishment to look like. However, we experienced a lack of service and professionalism that detracted significantly from the pleasure of our stay here. We received helpful answers to questions about tourist activities in the […] city, but we were also witness to two of the receptionists having a loud and obvious argument, and were completely ignored while we waited for our taxi to take us to the airport, with not so much as a good-bye or have a nice journey from the hotel staff. We also found the restaurant a great disappointment, with mediocre food and bad service. For clean accommodation centrally located the hotel is acceptable, but the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff detracts significantly from the experience and the hotel fails to live up to its 5 star rating. Nous avons séjourné 3 jours au Crowne Plaza Athens, mon mari, moi et nos deux enfants de 5 et 11 ans. Nous n'avons rien de négatif à dire de cet hôtel : propre, calme, nourriture très correcte bien qu'un peu chère, chambre bien organisée. La piscine est cependant ridiculement petite pour un établissement de cette taille. La terrasse est agréable, le […] personnel souvent très souriant. Das Hotel liegt ca. 250 m von der nächsten U-Bahn Station entfernt und so sind alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu erreichen. (Taxis sind in Athen auch erschwinglich). Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gut eingerichtet und sauber, der Service ist freundlich und der kleine Pool auf dem Dach bietet nach dem Sightseeing in Athen eine angenehme Erfrischung […] - also alles so wie´s sein soll. Hotel Crowne Plaza in Athene is een comfortabel hotel. Aangenaam om in zo'n warme stad een hotel met zwembad te hebben. De Plaka en andere bezienswaardigheden zijn op zo'n 20 minuten loopafstand. Prima te doen dus. Wij kwamen voor een voorstelling in het Megaron en dat is slechts op 5 minuten lopen. In de buurt prima bakkertje en restaurantjes.

Luksushotell med svømmebasseng på taket. Meget bra, men uten frokost da. Sinnsyk pris om man ønsket frokost i tillegg, tror det var 26 euro per pers jeg.

Hotellet var flott, god service, rein og ganske sentralt. Stive priser på servering i "badebaren" på taket. har aldri betalt så mye for en cappucino noen steder i Norge.
