I went to the hotel to visit my daughter in college and have stayed there before. Nice hotel but they jack the prices up during the fall so too pricey when moving kids into school. The staff however is amazing. My car died about a mile down the street, the front desk could not be more helpful. One of the women who worked in the laundry actually took […] me to walmart where I bought jumper cables and she helped me get the car back to the hotel where it would be safe til I could get it fixed. The next am the front desk was just as helpful finding an honest mechanic and tow company. Thanks to them all went well. All three were staff members should be commended for thier efforts. Stayed while visiting BBall hall of Fame. The place was like new. Room was quiet and breakfast had bacon and eggs added to continnental. Pool was warm no jacuzzi. Surroundings are industrial off the main road. would stay there again

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
"Thin Walls!"
All good except for thin walls and ceilings. Seriously. We could hear every foot step above us like someone was hitting their floor with a ball bat. I think I could even hear the coffee maker next door, and TVs and showers were the same way. Visually a nice stay, but it sounded like we had people in the room with us.

"Confused Staff"
I travel regulary, and stay in lots of hotels. When I checked in the girl checked me into the wrong room. Then I brought my dry cleaning to the front desk and the same girl told me that they dont do dry cleaning. I can just call and the dry cleaners will come and get it from me. She had NO IDEA!!! "Holiday Inn Express - Westfield, MA - great staff"
Although the area was marginal (somewhat industrial, lacking nice views, etc.), the hotel itself was modern and the staff was great. Additionally, my children loved the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed the array of food options. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Hotels seem to all provide comforters now instead of blankets. I'm sure there's a cleanliness reason - but comforters are HOT! Too hot for sleeping! THere's got to be a better solution.

Hotel encourages using towels more than once. However, no towel bars in bathroom. Had a problem with steam iron and requested a replacement. Same problem occurred with replacement (constant leaking). Many things missing at breakfast -- several people had to ask for items to be replenished. Long wait for service at the desk as no one was around.
"Relaxing Stay"
This was a break we needed after a very hectic week. The room was neat & clean with a very comfortable bed. We felt right at home. The breakfast was generous & satisfying. Nice pool too! We will stay here again.

Nice new hotel, good location just of the I90. The area around the hotel is not so great.

Great Hotel, had a problem in the bathroom and it was handled quickly and proffesionally. The location is good for franchise food joints and easy access to the highway, Walmart, Target or other non fast food establishments were 10 minutes or so away...overall will stay there again....10 minutes from Southwick Motocross track!

"Very nice place"
Room was very nice and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and even though there were a little to few tables to eat at it was all good! Would recommend to anyone to stay and I will be staying there again in the future as my company is doing a lot of work in that area!!

Nice hotel! The new feeling rooms, breakfast and pool make this hotel a nice surprise and a bargain! The rooms were roomy enough. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. "Great rates...great room...but needs work..."
The heating system was very loud and did not seem to work properly....we had to change the settings several times and turn the unit off before we were able to get the needed heat to work. The shower head did not work well and my wife left the shower early due to the way the "spray" was shooting uncontrolibly. Family of 3 needed an easy to get to overnight in Westfield and HI Express perfectly fit the bill. New, clean, attentive staff (not that we needed them much); all in all a more than adequate night in an above average, for the price, hotel.

This Hotel had very thin walls, could hear the people in the next room talking and snoring. the hotel was not near being full, but someone was placed in the next room to us. I would not stay here again.
