Nice hotel with spacious rooms, high ceilings and beautiful windows. It's a bit remote and there's a min. 10 min walk to the nearest metro station.

Best Western Grand City Hotel Berlin Mitte is an excellent hotel not far from u-bahn station Pankstrasse, six stops from Alexanderplatz. Pankstrasse is located a couple of blocks north from Prenzlauer Berg (a really cool area if you're into secondhand and independent shops, fleamarkets, cafes and great restaurants, like we are), which again is north […] from Mitte, where you'll find Alexanderplatz, Berlin's city centre. At this hotel you'll experience wonderful service from truly helpful, polite and positive staff. They upgraded our room without any costs and helped us out with restaurant recommendations, directions, taxi service and transport passes. We got a superior room which was great for our use: clean, really quiet, a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom with a big shower and free wireless (or wired) internet. The fare doesn't include breakfast, but we wanted to get this at local cafes instead anyway. We also used the room's fridge for ingredients for a light breakfast before heading into town. As a tourist, there aren't much to experience in the area where the hotel is located, but we were looking for a nice and quiet hotel not too expensive, as we wanted to use Berlin's excellent transport system to get around - regardless of where you decide to stay in Berlin, you will be travelling a lot with the u- and s-bahn. We really only spent time at the hotel when we needed some sleep before the long days of sightseeing and shopping in the different areas of Berlin. This hotel was a very good place to spend a business week. The rooms were standard and comfortable with quite a bit of space. The bed and pillows were comfortable (with technically the choice to change the pillows if you needed). The room was typical of what you'd expect of a 4 star hotel. The location was not completely central, but it was really […] just 4/5 stops on the S-bahn (15-20 mins) to get into Berlin Central, which was completely acceptable. The price for value was very good in comparison to some other hotels that were 1 or 2 star in the centre of Berlin charging the same rate. I booked this beautiful hotel without booked the breakfast. My god-daughter booked for me and I knew that. The time I checked into the hotel, before I left the counter, the lady said,"Tomorrow morning, you can come down for breakfast." I looked her, wondering. She said, "Yes, we have breakfast." She pointed the huge dinning room. I said, "I thought […] I don't have breakfast." She said, "Yes, we have breakfast. Just come down." "Ok", I said. I thought my god-daughter did something without let me know. Next morning, I came down and ate my breakfast. Of course, I needed to signed a slip when the waitress passed it to me to prove that I ate the breakfast . The time I checked out the hotel, the representative asked my credit card. "Why?" I asked. Hotel was lovely. Rooms were nice. Location was outside of the main area--if you are coming as a tourist, plan to spend the day away from the hotel. But, easy ride by train into the main area. The one negative thing is the lack of clear directions on the website from the airports. The directions are not difficult and reception was helpful with the information, […] but I would have liked to find it online. The front desk had a rather quirky staff. The gentleman who checked me in was boarder-line hostle and a second, very young, easily overwhelmed front desk clerk had frustratingly poor English skills, even when communicating on a first grade level. Got a great deal. A bit difficult to find at first if you go from U9 directly. Would recommend finding the places from S-bahn or from the bus system. Great breakfast, Wifi in the lobby, and easy to access the public transportation system.

Uns hat die klug gestaltete Einrichtung sehr überzeugt, die Zimmer sind zudem geräumig und gut vom Straßenlärm abgeschirmt. Service und Frühstück haben uns durchaus zufriedengestellt.

Det er et dejligt hotel, men havde uheldige oplevelser med noget personalet. En skulle vise hvor værelset lå, men kendte ikke hotellet, så det gik der 20 min. med. En anden kvindelig ansat i baren, var tilsyneladende møg sur, og ikke engang hev kreditkortet ud af hånden, da vi skulle betale, men flåede det ud af hånden. Hotel je daleko od centra města

Nylig renovert hotell. Enkelt, men lekkert dobbeltrom. Stille område, litt langt fra sentrum. Lett å misforstå når hotell navnet inneholder "Berlin Mitte" og hotellet lå faktisk i bydelen Wedding. Allikevel greit å komme seg til og fra med U-Bahn. Helt greit med taxi også.

Store dejlige værelser og når man lærer de to sporvognslinier at kende ,er det ikke noget problem at komme til stationerne Bornholmer Strasse eller Osloer Strasse og så videre ud i Berlin.Stoppested 3 min. fra hotellet.Noget dyr morgenmad, men gode kaffebarer/bäckerier lige rundt hjørnet.

Très bel hôtel, avec de magnifiques chambres, mais relativement éloigné du centre ville et plus difficilement accessible à pied ou en transports publics qu'en voiture.

Et stykke fra sentrum, men nær dit jeg skulle den første natten. Høflig og hjelpsomt personale, pluss gratis internett, billig i forhold til kvalitet. Stille, rolig. Rent og god plass. Passer for gjester som ikke behøver å bo helt i sentrum.

Ich war bisher selten in einem Hotel wo das Personal so zuvorkommend und freundlich war. Zimmer waren sauber und unser Zimmer lag in Richtung des Innenhofes. Das heisst die Sicht war nicht die schönste aber dafür waren die Nächte herrlich ruhig. Die Lage des Hotels ist vielleicht ein Kleiner Minuspunkt da die nächste U-Bahn station etwas über einen […] Kilometer entfernt ist. The Hotel was overall a bad experience, having a low quality restaurant and unfinished and broken renovations. The ceiling in our room seemed to be paper thin, since we heard people walking in the room above us, every night. 동생은 여행사를 통해 호텔 예약을 했고 저는 hotels.com을 통해 예약을 했는데 좀 심했다 동생방과 차이가 심하게 났다 그리고 퀴니유모차를 타는 17개월 남자아이와 4살된 딸이 있는데 유모차를 끌 수 없는 계단을 이용해야하고 거기다가 다락방 같은 구석방에 상대룸에서 저희룸을 볼 수 있는 창문 정말 terrible이었다

O hotel foi reservado em mar/2011 para 06 casais e quando chegamos em 15/06 (03 diárias) o hotel não tinha aptos suficientes para acomodar os 06 casais.Na distribuição dos quartos colocaram 03 casais em aptos localizados no sotão inadequadamente adaptado contendo colunas baixas que representavam constantes perigos ao circular, obrigando o hóspede a […] andar abaixado no apto, como também não dispunham de ar condicionado, por solicitação nos deram um ventilador, em um dos aptos não tinha sequer cortina no box, enfim foram 03 noites de total desconforto. Os 03 outros aptos também tiveram problemas com o frigobar que não funcionava. Foram dias quentes e que nos deixaram sem conforto. Não indico os aptos localizados na ala apartir do 508, são horríveis. O atendimeno do balcão as recepcionistas não falavam espanhol, no mínimo teriam que falar, e algumas delas foram muito antipáticas, quando solicitadas para resolução dos problemas. El hotel está situado fuera de los lugares turísticos, pero tiene el metro a 300 mts. y se puede desplazar con facilidad.El hotel es bastante nuevo, tiene excelentes habitaciones y comodidades.El problema para una persona que no habla aleman es siempre el idioma y máxime cuando ellos se niegan a intentar entender al huésped, esa actitud es lo que molesta […] a quien se hospeda. Hotellet var rigtig lækkert, og det samme med værelset ! Dog ligger hotellet et godt stykke fra alle seværdighederne, men der er s-bahn 7 minutter væk og u-bahn 15 minutter væk. RIGTIG godt til prisen ! Dog en dyr morgenmadsbuffet !

Sehr nettes Stadthotel, gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden, dieses Hotel werden wir beim nächsten Aufenthalt wieder buchen. Berlin war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts sehr kalt, wir waren froh, dass das Zimmer eine sehr gute Heizung im Zimmer und Bad aufwies.

Es ist ein ruhiges, angenehmes Hotel. Wir waren deshalb innerhalb des letzten halben Jahres bereits 2x dort.

Ein ganz tolles Hotel. Schöne große Zimmer, eine schöne Hotelbar, klasse Frühstück und ein ambitioniertes Restaurant. Leider ist das Hotel in Wedding und nicht in Mitte, trotzdem steht es sogar draussen vor der Tür!!!! Das ist DOOF! Ansonsten ein ganz tolles Hotel. Fint hotell, rent og pent. Hyggelig betjening, og deilig frokost. Navnet er litt misvisende for de som ikke er kjent, det ligger litt utenfor sentrum selv om det heter Berlin Mitte. Grei adkomst til alt, trikken og metro like i nærheten.
