Stayed one night while visiting colleges with my high school senior. Check in was fast and friendly, room was spotless, amenities nice, but what really stands out is the excellent dining room. The food is made in house, of excellent quality ingredients, and is cooked to order. If I wasn't given a ground floor room facing scum and HVAC system, I would've given it a higher rating. The hotel seemed quite empty and they gave me a room with a basement type window, which was very depressing for us. After complaining, they switched me to a higher floor which I could eventually see the sky. Great location, just a quick ride to the hotel. Was impressed that the shuttle service waited nearly 3/4 hr. past their closing time, as airline had misplaced my luggage. Totally thought I'd have to take a taxi. Hotel is nice and clean, and very handy to have coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge in the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel […] ! Don't know why this hotel only has 3 stars here, it is a 5-star experience:. Speedy, responsive check-in/out (express would be the operative word), even after 11pm at night. Oversized, comfortable, well-equipped rooms that are extremely CLEAN and well-maintained. Everything you need is provided, full selection of Neutrogena bath supplies, mouthwash, […] comb (!), etc. Fridge, coffeemaker, everything you could possibly need for comfort. I did mention it was clean and well-maintained? :) Shuttle from hotel > airport on demand, and instant response to my request for shuttle on Easter Sunday 8-ish a.m.. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn while visiting a local College. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Was very surprised at the size of our room. My two daughters were also impressed that we didn't hear one plane the whole time we were there.

We really enjoyed our second stay at the Hilton Garden. Our room was very clean and the service was great. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, which were clean and well stocked with towels. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitively stay there again the next time we go to Ottawa overnight. Lots of stores nearby too.

Clean. Big rooms. Free cookies! Good place if you need to be close to the airport or Carleton University.

Our stay was wonderful from the moment we were greeted by friendly staff. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. My favourite thing was the firmness adjustment on the beds! I could have stayed there all day.

The hotel staff are very friendly and very commodating.

Staff seemed condescending towards my husband & I as we are young. Room service was great, beds were unbelievably comfy, room was clean, everything else seemed wonderful. Lots of restaurants near by. Brand new Hilton with very nice sized rooms. Only downer is that it is right at the airport and consequently is along way from civilization.

Old Hotel, big room, small bath, nice reception

it was so nice to come to a hotel that is very close to the airport. the staff were very helpful and very accommendating. the room was excellent. Had one little concern however and that was the wifi was not strong enough for my Ipad. Other than that had a wonderful stay. I must also comment on the restaurant which was fantastic.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The service was excellent. We were pleased to have such a nice, large room with comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary coffee and cookies was a nice bonus. We will definitively stay here again.

Very nice hotel, service was very good, especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which went beyond your conventional cereal and muffins, to include eggs bacon pancakes etc... Rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. I would stay here again if the price is right.

The Hotel was excellent. Very friendly bilingual personnel. The room was very big and clean. The parking is free but to my surprised they don't melt the snow in the parking so it was difficult and dangerous each time we needed to take the car. The breakfast was delicious and as I said the personnel was always friendly and smiling.

This is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it. The rooms were HUGE and very clean...nice big bathrooms too! Very reasonable rates with hot or cold breakfast included. The service was super fast and food was wonderful. All the staff were extremely pleasant as well. This is a hotel definitely worth the visit.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when catching an early morning flight at the Ottawa Airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. One of the best parts is the Neutrogena products in the bathroom!

Very good price, very convenient for a very early flight. 24 hr coffee and snacks.

Stayed here the night before we flew back east for Christmas. Room was huge! Perfectly clean and front desk staff helpful. Waited 2 whole minutes for the shuttle to the airport - long term parking here ended up way cheaper than park n fly. Would stay here again anytime. For an airport hotel we found it very quiet.

I arrived late at night so the hotel is very convenient and close to the airport and easy to get to other parts of Ottawa. The rooms was much more than I expected - very spacious, very comfortable, have a mini-fridge, very quiet. The cleaning staff were very respectful. A great value.

We were on our way home and overnighted in Ottawa and decided to stay close the airport. The hilton was a great place, nice big room, clean and comfortable. The best bed ever slept next to our own at home. The restaurant in the hotel was a nice addition and the service was amazing. A very enjoyable visit. The staff were very pleasant, almost to excess at times, most notably in the restaurant which had a "high energy" as opposed to relaxed atmosphere... but I can understand that as an airport location, although we were traveling by car. Similarly, meals near airports tend to be somewhat higher, while room rates are competetive.... […] a trade-off for car travelers. I hope you find these comments "constructive". This is a brand new hotel. The decor is excellent and the service is good. There is a restaurant on site, but nothing in the immediate vicinity, you need to drive to other locations for ammenties. For us, we needed something close to the University and it was perfect.

The hotel was very clean, service very good and the rate was ok. We like the Hilton chain, but prefer the Hampton Inn for service, value and their excellent breakfast buffet. The Hilton Garden Inn was a little too close to the airport for our liking. However, the Evolution bed was the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on in my entire life. Great place to stay. Service was great, especially the shuttle driver. Computer service down in area but gracefully handled. Not much going on in the area, restaurant closed during some of the day, so they shuttle guests to nearest eating place.

I first stayed here while travelling on business and my work chose the hotel. I was satisfied enough to come back for personal travel. It's a great hotel for those of us travelling to the north; a 5-minute free shuttle to the airport, close to the air cargo offices, and there's a fridge in your room for perishables. The shuttle service drivers are very friendly and helpful but we have had a problem reaching them from the phone in the airport on two stays at the hotel. The shuttle buses run until midnight and we almost missed the last shuttle as the phones would not work. I was most impressed with the cookies that were waitiing at the front desk for the guests when you arrived back each evening. Everyone from room service to the front dsk was exceptional. The only thing I could say negatively might be the shuttle service. The first time I went to this hotel the shuttle brought us (my 3 year old son and I) to the hotel without a carseat. We had to stay somewhere overnight because there was a problem with our booking and we were rebooked for the following day. The Hilton Garden Inn has a free on-demand airport shuttle that ran efficiently, and the driver was very helpful and friendly. They even had a booster seat for my 4 yr old, but we had to use our own carseat for our 2 year old. […] The hotel did not have a bell boy to help us with our bags, but we didn't mind pushing our trolley of luggage by ourselves. The room was clean and quiet (I think the rooms are sound-proofed!), and our girls, who love hotel rooms, thoroughly enjoyed running around. We had two comfortable queen beds, a large desk that we used as a dining table, and free wireless internet which was a huge plus. The bathroom was quite large and very clean. Overall it was an excellent stay for one night, and we wouldn't have minded staying longer if needed. Hotel is super, good beds, nice service, little extras. The only thing is I would only stay at this hotel if you are getting in late or leaving early. Otherwise you may want to go in town as there is nothing remotely close but the airport. So if you are in need of being by the airport, great choice!
