Jedyną wadą jest jego lokalizacja - daleko od centrum Waszyngtonu do którego mozna sie dostac samochodem ( o ile sie go ma) -ale tylko w weekend bo wdzień roboczy ze wzgldu na korki i ograniczone mozliwości parkowania trzeba o tym zapomnieć! lub za pomocą metra korzystając z autobusu który dowozi w ciagu 10 minut do stacji metra.

Komentarz: Wojciech M - "Katowice, Polska", dnia sie 11, 2011Dobry hotel z niewielkim basenem na dachu bardzo blisko Union Station( ważne dla podróżujących pociągiem oraz dla lokalnej komunikacji) i Capitolu. Pozostałe atrakcje już nieco dalej (min 20min piechotą) co po całym dniu zwiedzania może być męcząc) podobnie jak większość restauracjii knajp. w pobliży ( 5 min) dwie fajne małe knajpki z dobrym jedzeniem i lokalnym piwem) Internet płatny w pokojach, w lobby free, parking $ 30 za dobę. Nasz pokój nieprzyjemnie pachniał i trzeba było zmienić. inny był już OK. trochę głośna klimatyzacja ale można się przyzwyczaić. Generalnie dobry hotel , może wykładziny podłogowe trochę zużyte. 4 windy, nie trzeba czekać

"Close to where my meeting was located"
The front desk staff, bartender (John), and the afternoon shuttle driver were amazing! They were so helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant’s food was fantastic. My only gripes were, the valet saw me park and he waited for me to get out of my car and unload my own luggage. My hands were very full and I would have appreciated his help. The room was […] very hot. The room did not keep a consistent temperature. The TV remote did not work. I left a note for the housekeeper and they never fixed it. There was hair and spots on the comforter. The gift/snack shop was never conveniently opened. When it was opened, the attendant spent most of her time talking on the phone. I did not know if she was talking to the person or me on the phone. It was very rude. In addition, what hotel does not have vending machines! Every time I wanted a soda, I had to go down stairs to the shop and wait for her to come back. It was very inconvenient. The hotel itself was nice and was a decent price but the parking was confusing. There is no direction and after my husband and I parked in the garage we were yelled at by a parking attendant who said that we could not park there and it was valet only. It was our first time there Nd we had no idea about the parking regulations. "A 'fine' place to stay in Alexandria"
My wife and I use 'fine' to describe experiences that are not terrible, but they still suck in one way or another. The hotel overall was very nice-looking, the room clean, and the bed comfortable. The food in the restaurant wasn't bad either. A couple problems we ran into: first, Internet access (for which there is an hourly or daily charge) did not […] work on our devices. I called their tech support line and the guy was very condescending to me (fyi, I am a tech professional). He was unable to fix the problem so told me he would escalate the problem to second level support. No one ever called back. Second, the airflow in the room was very week and although the thermostat read 68, it felt stuffy. It is a fair walking distance to the King Street Metro. Not bad, if you are in shape and the weather is good. Otherwise, you will have to cab it. Not very many restaurants in the close surrounding area, but lots on King Street. Fancy hotel and fancy costs.. valet parking only at 26/day plus tips to retrieve the vehicle. No coffee in lobby just stale room maker. No continental breakfast. had to walk across street to starbucks early to get good coffee. Had to walk several blocks to metro. What a great place! We stayed here as a midpoint on our trip, so we got here late and left early. The first thing we noticed was how wonderful it smelled. "Great Stay, would book again"
I was only in town overnight to visit friends. Got a great deal on Hotels.com. This was close to everything, The food in the bar was great! Everyone was friendly and helpful with everything I needed: parking my car, calling my taxi, retrieving my car, check-in/out... all was done quickly and easily. "Wonderful Alexandria hotel"
It's a beautiful hotel, very comfortable and they have a really nice bar area with great staff who are extremely attentive and customer oriented. When we're in Old Town Alexandria we always stay at this Westin, plus it's at a very convenient location. The only issue we had this time was that they billed us for 2 days of parking/valet service and we […] didn't even have a car. "Outstanding Service"
Staff was very helpful with all requests. Workout room is spacious with well maintained machines. Shuttle & valet service were excellent. "Always a good and comfortable stay"
We come as a family here for Thanksgiving every year as other family lives close by. This is a high-end hotel and it shows. The lobby is magnificent and there is much attention to detail. The room service is prompt, if a bit pricey, but keep in mind this is a Westin. The restaurant and bar are excellent and the indoor pool is quite nice. Definitely […] worth the money!
